What makes a true Oceanic hero?
An Oceanic hero knows that when you've gotta eat in a hurry stop by your closest Bunnings for a sausage sizzle, to fill your tummy and support the local children's sports.
I've only got one Oceanic-themed character, naturally a villain. He's a Circle of Thorns mage named Myeros the Exiled who was exiled to Aotearoa. He is known to the Maori as Maero.
I have one Aussie-themed character at the moment: Min Min. She's the character in my avatar at the moment. She's more Oceanic in origin rather than in style though. As a blue-skinned mutant with glowing eyes even before her powers began to emerge, she picked up the Min Min name from her appearance in the dark. As in the Min Min lights. Her backstory has her as foreign student doing Metahuman Studies at Paragon U.
I used to have a much more aussie-themed character in Roo Shooter, a mutant kangaroo with a penchant for heavy weapons and advanced military technology. One of my favourite character concepts actually, but the AR/Dev Blaster is (or was; this was a fair while ago) a gimp's gimp and I really couldn't stomach playing it so he got deleted ages ago. I will probably remake him as a Traps/AR Defender or AR/Traps Corruptor at some point.
I'm a little surprised at the OP it was my understanding that Paragon City is supposed to be somewhere near Rhode Island. Is that just the backstory for those of in the USA and they put it somewhere else for each country?

And of course super-villains, with crimes such as the pea-floater.
You're right that Paragon City is in the States, but the OP is asking about heroes in other cities of the world. The fact that there are super-powered people all over the world is mentioned in the canon.

Which reminds me: Oceanic heroes know timezone conversions for at least a dozen timezones!
Oceanic heroes know how to swim in case of floods, tsunamis, or rising sea-level.

Aussie heroes watch out for drop bears.
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
Kiwi heroes fumigate their spandex every time they fly back into the country.
Aussie heroes do that too.
I'm also thinking Aussie heroes know not to swim North of the Tropic of Capricorn unless they have high lethal and toxic resistance.
Aussie heroes also know 'thats not a knife'

With the game being set in Paragon City it might be easy to forget that there are other heroes across the globe, fighting the good fight, doing what's right.
So I thought I'd throw this question out there. What would the signature character for Oceanic heroes be like? What makes a true Oceanic Hero?
I'm sure some of you must have themed toons, or stories to tell about how you've brought a down-under perspective to your team.
I'll start the ball rolling by saying;
...an Oceanic hero knows that even though they can fire lightning from their finger tips, you still have to respect the environment, Mother Nature is an Incarnate.
