  1. Every time I try to watch the video, I get an error: "303: Unable to load a resource. Unable to load resources: Error #2306"

Aaaaand, I've just tried it in Internet Explorer (stupid! stupid! stupid!) and it tried to do a "security scan" on my PC....

To anyone trying to view this video...stay away. The site it's on is apparently trying to load malware or something on your computer.

    Super Harmony!

Oh man, I hadn't seen that. It's hilarious!
  3. I know people say Bosses and Lts., and this is true, but I just run around and wipe out the largest spawns of gray-con, 20+ enemies I can find. It's never taken me more than 5 minutes to get a tip mission.

But wouldn't it be great if we *could* beat the tar out of Scrappy Doo? Man, I always hated that character.

Yeah, the Man-Kzin Wars would make an awesome film- or tv-series. If done right, of course.
  5. I would think you are good, because when you really do cancel your account you it's not ended immediately. You still have an "active" account until your current payment runs out. So when the next billing date rolls around and your sub is paid again, you're still active.
  6. So, a little fuel to the fire here:

Last night I was playing some Rogue tip missions on a level 20 Bots/FF Mastermind. I got a mission where I had to free a hostage, then click a glowie. After I clicked the glowie the mission objectives changed to indicate I had to defeat 3 waves of incoming authorities (or something like that). Ok, no prob. I make sure my Bots are all shielded and I get ready for the first wave.

The only problem was that there weren't 3 waves. There was ONE wave, made up of 3 ambush groups (Longbow, Legacy Chain and PPD). I could have handled any one of the 3 groups, with enough time to prepare for the next. But I didn't get 3 separate waves, I just got one VERY large one.

So, I died and the waves ran off a little ways, allowing me to rez (at least they were sporting in that regard). I was then able to pull smaller groups from the large one and finally defeated the three-waves-that-are-one.

I don't know if this is WAI, but it feels broken. If this is WAI, the mission text needs to be changed. Expecting 3 *separate* groups of enemies (that what "waves" means to me) but then getting *one* huge group is a bit misleading.

    Happy Monday!

    It's PEEK! PEEK! As in:

    peek (pk)intr.v. peeked, peekĀ·ing, peeks
    1.
    To glance quickly.
    2. To look or peer furtively, as from a place of concealment.
    3. To be only partially visible, as if peering or emerging from hiding

A "Sneak Peak" would be a mountain trying to move around quietly.

  9. My first scrapper was a BS/Regen. I skipped Integration, because it didn't sound like it was all that useful for doing damage and stuff. (I was a 1 month newb at the time). Finally a friend set me straight.

Happy Friday everyone! I thought we could kick off the weekend a bit early. What are your plans for this weekend? Either in game or IRL!

Myself, I plan on continuing to explore Praetoria and all the new content in Going Rogue. Well, that and House Hunting (to get the wife and kiddos out here ASAP), laptop shopping (can't believe I'm actually considering buying a Mac laptop) and possibly...POSSIBLY...actually seeing a movie.

    How about yourself?
If you're thinking of getting a Mac laptop, might I suggest you wait until this one becomes available. It looks sweet! And maybe a bit clingy....

On the last page of #587, it says "Next Issue: The Last Stand of Johnny Storm!" (or something to that effect). I think that means we'll see Johnny die in #588.

It ended my hunger for a good comic. For a while, at least.

If we got enough copies together, and dropped them all on the evildoers, the world would be more peaceful.

Ok, now that I'm warmed up:

    KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!
  15. Find cohupdater.exe in the game directory, and change its name to cohupdater.eu.exe

Edit: Also, here's a link to BillZBubba's excellent guide on this subject.

Maybe produce a couple of Superman shorts and maybe have them run at theaters as a treat for kid friendly G related WB films.
That would be the Max Fleischer Superman cartoon from 1941, "The Mechanical Monsters"
  17. Some of my current favorite comics characters are not from Marvel or DC titles.

    From "Irredeemable" (BOOM! Studios):

    The Plutonian
    Modeus
    Kaidan
    Survivor
    Qubit

    From "Incorruptible" (BOOM! Studios)

    Max Damage
    Jailbait (Max's "original" sidekick)
    Headcase (Max's current sidekick)

    From "Invincible" (Image Comics)

    Invincible
    Omni Man
    Levy Angstrom
    Allen the Alien
    The Immortal
    Atom Eve
Dupli Kate (and her brother, Multi Paul)

I do have favorites from Marvel and DC too:

    Batman
    Iron Man
    Red Robin
Finesse, Veil and Mettle (from Avengers Academy)
    Dr. Doom
  18. No. You get 60 merits for each confirmation after the first.
  19. I found a screenshot with a cow in Perez Park! I wonder why they were removed?

I think that is the sound of the other hero drawing his sword. He's off-screen when they archer is first shown, but the next scene shows them from further away and you can see that the broadsword wielder was standing right next to the archer.

    Oh, and HAX!!!
  22. Well, I did say I'm not a big Wolvie fan, so yes I don't know his backstory all that well. Just going from the synopsis, and my general impression that pretty much all "love interest" stories in superhero films are not that well done (I'm being charitable here), I'm not too excited about a movie where the love interest storyline appears to be the main plot.
  23. *beep*

What is the number of calories Hugh Jackman is consuming to bulk up for the next Wolverine film?

    From the article:

    Quote:
"The Wolverine," ... is not a sequel but a stand-alone film. In it, the razor-clawed Marvel hero will go into battle to win the heart of a Japanese woman whose hand in marriage was already promised to another man.
    *faceplam*

Man, I'm glad I've never been much of a Wolverine fan, or this plot synopsis might make me chew off my own arms out of nerd rage. It sounds like a Merchant Ivory period film...with claws! *snikt* bub *snikt* bub
  24. Oh man, hang in there Aussies!

Also, why are they called cyclones in the Pacific, but hurricanes in the Atlantic?
