One possible cause is that your C drive is too full.
I would suggest that you free up some space on your C drive and do a defragmentation. -
Then I could be your graphic card is failing.
You could try measuring the temperatures of the CPU and especially the GPU.
CoH stresses the system very much, and therefore weak spots might show up when playing.
Even though, I still recommend posting a CoH Helper report. -
A couple of questions.
Have CoH previously ran on that computer?
Does CoH crash immediately or how long do you get in game?
Post a CoH Helper report it will tell your computer comfiguration. -
I don't see any real culprits. Maybe others will.
But have you tried lowering your graphic settings?
I could assume that there are many more players around this weekend, and therefore much more player information that must be handled.
And it might be that, that your system can't handle.
Are there any specific circumstances that make you crash or lock up? -
My guess is that you are low on system resources, especially RAM.
Entering WW requires a lot of information send to your computer, and you seem to be able to handle it before doing missions, but afterwards those are taking up some memory as well, and therefore, when entering WW, you might crash.
You can try to type /reloadgfx before entering WW. That will clear your buffers.
If that doesn't work, or even if it does, I recommend posting a CoH Helper report. That will tell about your system configuration, and people will better be able to help you. -
As others have stated as well - the problem is most likely your graphic driver.
The 186.x driver are known for causing problem.
Update your driver and I think you'll be fine. -
The short answer is yes.
For costume change: /bind <key> CC <slot>
Slot is 0 to 4, with 0 as your initial slot.
For costume change emote: /bind <key> CCE <slot> <cc-emote>
For turning on toggles: /bind <key>
Regarding turning on toggles you should be aware that you can only activate one power with a bind (there are some clever workarounds, where you can press the same key, and activating different powers, but that is more than just a simple bind).
I recommend reading in the paragon wiki about binds. -
What strikes me as odd, is that your CoH Helper lists 2 video cards, GeForce GTS 250 and GeForce 8400 GS, which too me seems unhealthy, as a potential conflict.

Has it at any time been said, why there is no 'Long Cape' option for female models when choosing 'High Collar', as for males and huge?
An oversight or just put on the back burner, due to higher prioritized items? -
Elaborating on the ideas above.
* You could limit the spawning of the nemesis, to that of the mission holder.
* And add it as an option in the 4XP difficulty setting. If set to 'yes' then there would be a chance for your nemesis to spawn, maybe like 5%. -
Yes, it is due to your trial account. Those are limited to level 14.

I'm guessing you're referring to prices at Wentworth.
If that is the case, then those prices are determined by the players, based on offers and demands.
If it is something else, please explain which prices then. -
For the character.
But be aware that there are different types of defense (for a better understanding see Paragon Wiki). The same type of defense will add up, from both powers, IO bonuses etc.
If you look in your Combat Attributes, you can see your current values. -
For a better understanding of your set-up, I recommend posting the results of:
CoH Helper: a more detailed description of your pc and drivers.
HiJackThis: a listing of what is running on your pc.

I must admit that I'm puzzled.
If you want to try an older driver, I think 185.85 is a better choice. There are known issues with the 186.xx
But honestly I think your problem is somewhere else.
The only thing that comes to mind, is if you have tried measuring the temperatures of the CPU and the GPU. Given that you have changed your video card, especially the CPU temperatures might be interesting. -
Quote:This.I've never been a fan of things in games like this that are totally unchangeable. I still have alts that I haven't chosen pets for because I'm not 100% sure which pet I want them to have and I'm reluctant to make a choice I know I can't undo.
So my support for the idea. -
My guess on this problem is, it is heat related.
It matches, that you can play for some time until it gets too warm, and crashes.
With a laptop, make sure there is sufficient space around it, to let the air flow freely. -
Are you using WindowsBlinds or a similar skinning program?
If so, it must be disabled.
My advice is to post a HiJackThis report, and let people see if there are something conflicting running. -
There are more ways to earn it (see Ouroboros from Paragon Wiki).
The most common is from Doc Deliah in Faultline or Mercedes inside Midnighters. Or simply just get the exploration badge inside Ouroboros. -

Eco, I experience the same from time to time.
I read in another thread (by Master-Blade I think), that it possibly was related to just closing the browser, without logging out. Another advice was to 'mark forum as read' (when done of course) by double-clicking the forum icon. -
It looks like you have a serious problem with your video card at least your system doesn't acknowledge that you have one.
It might be a solvable problem, but could be that your card has died on you.
You can try pulling your card out, and reinsert it. And make sure that the card is properly inserted, as well as power core to the card.
When you boot the computer up, does the fan on the video card start spinning or any other signs on life? -
Have you tried looking in Common Solutions?
If and no luck, I suggest posting a CoH Helper report, for a better description of your computer. -
This is the forum for technical questions.
But for understanding your setup, you should download and run COH Helper, and then post the result here. -
I only remember it vaguely from when 3G UMTS was introduced. It has to do with the encoding decoding in the UMTS standard (are going to be improved with 4G
).
There are different 3G standards with UMTS as the most commonly used.
Just tested it to see how it was.
My normal ping is 300-350 ms.
On UMTS it was 700-800 ms.
Still acceptable, but you should be aware.
