I also tried Baba Kanoosh's "LOL" mish and made it much farther. I did have to jump out and recruit a farming scrapper to help kill the Regenerating, Rezzing, clawed AV named, "Drama Queen" who was constantly trying to "silence" me. I gave up after I had to find a sexy tractor that wasn't a tractor.

So I have to go do research? None of you tried and trues out there know from experience?

Bottom line questions-
Weakened Hami:
Is there a point to using debuff powers like radiation infection? Or is a rad/rad only good for the damage blasts?

Normal Hami:
Is there a point to bringing a rad/rad at all other than rez/tp or the heal aura?

I was running an LGTF today with my Rad/Rad Defender when the question came up about debuff. We weren't sure how effectively you can debuff a weakened hamidon from the tf or even the real Hami in the Hive. I was able to target all my powers (such as radiation infection) on Hami, but wasn't sure to what effect. Do you guys know?

I tried the AE mish "What is an Imeco?" and got arrowed by some ferrets.

My first time running the respec trial in the reactor room with a group of buddies (all new), they told me to take ALL the reactor coolant. I loaded up my power tray with all the coolants. Then they told me to just keep hitting the reactor with it till we won. So as the hordes killed my team, I stood there and shot coolant nonstop till they finally killed me. I had no idea why I was using the coolant in the first place. We all thought that you just use up the power and win, lol. Big time fail.

When I first started the game there was a guy toon who frequently invited me to team and psted me. He was nice in the beginning, but he started making comments about my toon's posterior, etc. all the time. He also got "jealous" of other male toons by pretending to hit them with AOEs in penalty for looking at my toon. I was new to the game and put up with it for a little while, but right when I was about to /gignore him, he disappeared. I haven't seen him online since.

That was the worst I've ever gotten as a girl on all girl toons. There are times when people assume that I'm a guy, but I simply correct them and they don't make the same mistake again.

I love my Archer, and so I've decided to make an MA Mish for Archers. I'm trying to think of the perfect types of enemies that would be fun to make "arrowed"

What types of baddies are fun for you to tackle as archers? Do you prefer melee or ranged type attackers?

Welcome to the server! I just started out on COH too a few months ago and have had a great time on Triumph. Thanks for the advice on the DA. I think I'm going to take the fighting pools and combat jumping to compensate. As for endurance, I'm a big fan of IO bonuses, but I can forgo a bonus or two in favor of a generic end redux IO slotted in each power. I also plan to 6 slot stamina, jes cause i like to, prolly with performance shifters.

I'm contemplating rolling a new Fire Melee scrapper and having a little trouble figuring out which defense to take. I really like the mez protection offered by dark armor, but after reading a very thorough guide on it, I realized that it is weak against energy blasts (so i'm assuming there will be issues against rikti later on).

Is there a way to counter this weakness? Do I have to take tough/weave or maneuvers to make up for it?

Also, I read somewhere that DA is annoying with all the toggles. I"m not a huge fan of many toggles myself. Maybe I should roll a Force Field scrapper then?

Sorry to hear that Pine, all the decent players on our server know your worth.

That tank obviously PLed his ego as well as his toon. Even if he didn't know your scrapper, anyone worth their salt knows that a scrapper that can solo the crystals is a better player than most. It took me a long time to get to the point where I could survive, shadow, and support toons taking on crystals alone. In fact, there's plenty of times I've been faceplanted during a tf we've teamed on when I wondered why you were nice enough NOT to kick me!

I really hope it wasn't on our server that happened.

Was a great weekend for me, since I've been wanting to get my Rad/Rad up in the higher lvls for TFs. Up until double xp, it was tough finding low lvl teams that wanted something more than just a "healer". Rode the greedy AE wave of farmers to a lvl where debuff is actually appreciated.

Got my Rad/Rad defender from lvl13-lvl40!
The energy/energy blaster I made for soloing went from 13 to 19

Awesome bases. Rhynwa I may have to take you up on that offer sometime. Our SG's a 3 mo. baby, but we've been working hard on our base. We're all pretty clueless on how to do some of the more fundamental things, so any help you or others can offer would be appreciated!

Thanks! I get what you mean. I guess i'm a little frustrated because I've had to deal with too many failed STFs, LGTFs, ITFs, and Kahns thanks to one-shotted stone tanks, aggro-everything blasters, quits quits quits, and complaining corpses (rez me! rez me!) since AE. I usually do a badge check to see what kind of players these folks are and almost always their badges are AE top heavy.

So lemme get this straight:

Stealth (pool power) + SS with Stealth IO = invisibility?

How about
Stealth (pool Power) + Stealth IO slotted in Run = ?

Which one is greater? Invisibility or Stealth+SS with stealth IO?

not that they don't see you with SS, but that they are less likely to hit ya if you zoom zoom past.

I do use stealth constantly as a kinda added defense. I have it 6 slotted with LoTG and it makes it harder for things to hit me, particularly if I jump in the middle of aggro to RA a tank.
