debuffing Hami
There's a temp power called "Power Analyzer (Mk 1, 2, and 3) that will let you look at an enemy's stats (much like your own Power attributes window) so you can see what effect your debuffs are having.
I should note that the FULL hami took ~50 Warburg Nukes JUST to bring down to 75% resistance as opposed to 99% (the effect capped at 10 nukes, i believe... we have fun like that on Virtue). He has HUGE debuff resistance. The weakened hami, I imagine, would be a little more susceptible to debuffs as its only 8 on 1 as opposed to 50 on 1... but still probably not much.
Best way to neuter hami is to bring EoEs ahead of time (inspirations you get from defeating the giant monsters in the Hive or north of PI) and pop them one at a time before going into the goo. Once the mitos are down, give the rest to the taunter and just let him take potshots while the rest of the team wails on that uni-celled jello mold.

Allied to all sides so that no matter what, I'll come out on top!
Oh, and Crimson demands you play this arc-> Twisted Knives (MA Arc #397769)
So I have to go do research? None of you tried and trues out there know from experience?
Bottom line questions-
Weakened Hami:
Is there a point to using debuff powers like radiation infection? Or is a rad/rad only good for the damage blasts?
Normal Hami:
Is there a point to bringing a rad/rad at all other than rez/tp or the heal aura?

basically, if you see a miki on Triumph, it's probably cute and it's probably me.
Huge thanks to cuppamanga and all the folks in the mac help forum for prolonging my borrowed time on this game.
Weakened Hami is significant easier to debuff than the 'real' hami, Ennervating field at the very least is going to make you and everyone else do 30% more damage compared to without it.
Thats like an extra team-mate or two adding DPS.
-res is the key to a quick take down for him.

Most powers in the defenders (primaries) just can't affect Hami raids - debuffs are wayyyyy to resisted and no defense or resistance buff helps the raiders... Emp is the most useful since it is all buffs, with the aura, the ST heal, AP if they have it, AB and the two auras - that is all useful. Fort maybe for the to hit, and the +dam, but not for the defense. Kin has SB and can keep the empaths moving, ID and IR for movement of the raid force (the heal just doesn't work really well since it is centered on the target), Rad has AM, the rez and the heal, Dark has shadowfall, the rez, the pitiful hold and the heal. FF has the big bubble and insulation shield for the tanks (prevents the end drain), Sonic has the big bubble and clarity, TA has the hold (and OSA for the Howling Slick trick), Storm has the end drain protect/tiny heal, Cold has frostworks for any HP low tank. Only the buffs, and then only *some* of the buffs.
However, try to run a raid without us? Ha... it will fail. Our few buffs still make the raids happen :-) Ever see scrappers and tanks quivering in fear? Tanks go dead when the blues drain their end. How many dead people lying around? You want to get OUT of the goo when the bloom comes? Heh. Defenders still make the raid go 'round - we just have to share the spotlight with other ATs... :-P
I was running an LGTF today with my Rad/Rad Defender when the question came up about debuff. We weren't sure how effectively you can debuff a weakened hamidon from the tf or even the real Hami in the Hive. I was able to target all my powers (such as radiation infection) on Hami, but wasn't sure to what effect. Do you guys know?
