A hovering Crab built heavily for ranged defense would be your best bet, but it's still not efficient for the money you'd be investing.

Quote:1. Any melee in-set defense toggle or epic/patron defense toggle. These give elusivity to the same positions or types they provide defense for in PvP. There are some exceptions - AoE defense buffs (Dispersion Bubble, Mind Link, VEAT Maneuvers, etc.) do not provide elusivity, nor do some in-set defense powers such as Cloak of Darkness or Heightened Senses. Personal Force Field provides elusivity in both the in-set and epic/patron versions, however. What powers specifically have elusivity?
Does elusivity stack with different powers?
Does slotting for defense in a power do anything for its elusivity?
Does Defense for set bonuses do anything for your overall elusivity?
Is Elusivity typed? either positional or damage type?
2. Generally there is no way to stack elusivity because it is only provided by in-set toggles. The exception to this is Energy Aura, which has elusivity granted in Overload in addition to the elusivity found in the other defense toggles in that set.
3. No.
4. No.
5. Yes - see number 1. For example, Power Shield gives defense against fire, cold, energy, psi, and negative in PvP, therefore it grants elusivity to the same. Evasion gives defense against AoE in PvP, therefore it grants elusivity to the same. It's important to note that the types of damage a power protects from in PvP are not necessarily the same as what it protects from in PvE. Power Shield provides psi and negative defense in PvP but does not in PvE. -
Quote:That implosion when changing graphics settings is due to conflicts with the ATI drivers, which I'd sworn they'd fixed in the 10.3 and 10.4 Catalyst updates.I've had a really high ping (500-1500) off and on since i17 launched, and my game implodes on itself if I try to change most the ultra options. I've noticed that occasional screen flicker as well, Mari, it's annoying but not critical really. No crashes though (aside from changing ultra settings), and I've used the market plenty.
(Also "implodes on itself" is redundant.)

Well, you don't really need both Phase and Hibernate (just Phase is probably better since you'll get camped using Hibernate in zone). Should probably have some endredux in AS instead of the extra recharge, because spamming it will make your end drop pretty bad. Otherwise, looks decent.

I forget to add that because quite frankly the scoreboard sucks. Doesn't update live, shows individual scores instead of team scores, and is a huge window that you can't realistically keep open during a match unless you're an observer bot (and with those broken no one is going to be watching matches anyways).
This made me lol - I hear they're recalling some Sequoia models too. -
Quote:Guessing it was very intentional since it always seemed silly that you couldn't bid on stacks of recipes or inspirations, but the relative lack of a functioning market on test made testing these sorts of things difficult if not impossible. The problem is that a new feature crept in: the ability to put in an order for multiple enhancements and inspirations. Who knows if this was intended. If it was, being aware of it would have allowed people to test it. As is, one has to fall upon it. Something which is hard to due, since marketing on test is, as was mentioned, limited.

These are the things that would've been caught if there were actually a functioning economy/market on test.

I am going to strongly disagree here - from a functionality standpoint (as well as a "looks" standpoint) the new UI is pretty terrible. It's got some nice features like the ability to find all savage required for a recipe, but it's clunky, counter-intuitive, and some of the ways it works will require me to re-learn how to search for items. For example, let's say I type "Decimation" into the search box (and have autocomplete turned off, since with it on I can't search for partial matches). I'll get both recipes and enhancements. With the old market system I could click the "recipes" or "enhancements" categories on the left side to filter my search results, but now those same buttons act as search-starters.
Anyways... I like the email feature because it means I can consolidate inf and enhancements on servers where I play most often, even if the characters who are generating that stuff aren't on that server. Ultra Mode is nice but the continuing quirks with ATI cards make me a sad panda. -
Yeah, that was more than a bit aggravating... don't forget to mention that the green mitos on the LGTF seem to have been replaced with ones more akin to those found in the actual Hamidon encounter - they have mag 50 hold protection and 90% resistance to all. We were concerned for a bit before we just decided to power through them, take out Hami first, and then finish off the greens one by one. Hoping that's a bug, because a team that doesn't have either lots of damage or lots of mez will have a very rough go with that mission.

Boost Range (Cosmic Burst, Electron Haze, especially), Power Boost (PB'd -def and stun), good high-damage single target attacks.

Quote:I went to go start counting up the going rate for the IOs slotted on my Warshade, but I managed to crash the game every time I clicked on an enhancement in the search results to get the price.I should do a recheck on how much it would cost to re-IO out my original 6 million inf man, if I take out the spectacular exception. . .
. . .at the time I didn't have the near-million in my budget to get a Steadfast KB protection IO, so I settled for a Steadfast Res/Def at 40K plus crafting and salvage cost. -
Maybe they're intentionally making bugs so they can fix them and ignore the actual ones >.>

The lag is horrible. I thought it was just an issue with test, as it had been going on throughout closed and open beta, but it's still very present on live.
-
Haven't found a way so far. Surprised this didn't get fixed during beta.
-
If you plan on doing any PvP with this at all you will need the pool Stealth or you'll be in for a world of hurt.
-
Nice job on yesterday's raid. Despite some miscommunication and a pullback on the first wave, we managed to finish in about the same time hero raids take.
-
With the IO system the way it is, you can slot for lots of A and still have respectable amounts of B, C, and D, provided you can afford to spend the inf to make such a build (like the capped-HP, high-damage, perma-Heat Exhaustion, 41 points KB protection, and high-acc Elec/Therm build Ra was bouncing around a while ago).
-
lol i still don't see why you're spending billions of inf to pvp on a dead server
