Do not buy stacked enhancements or inspirations! (market bug)

In the old market, you could not buy enhancements or inspirations in stacks. In the new one you can, and the market will accept the bid accordingly (taking inf. from the player for all purchases) and retrieve those items. However, when you click to obtain those items from the market, only one is placed into the player inventory. The rest are lost!!

Text from my original purchase:
"You bid 3,500,000 total on 10 Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You have purchased Invention: Recharge Reduction.
You got 10 Invention: Recharge Reduction."

However, only 1 enhancement made it into my inventory! I repeated this 3 times with 2 enhancement bids, with the same result.

I am hoping to bring this everyones attention so that people don't lose much INF on this before it gets fixed or an administrator warning goes out.

Oh jeez thank you so much, Sermon, for getting this started. I've been looking for a thread that mentioned this since yesterday but didn't find any. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong so it was just me but thank god its not.

This happened to me 3 times and whoever I bought them from sure as hell got the money, while I only got one enhancement and in one case got NONE.
Before when you clicked to "Get" things, if you didn't have room for them all, you would just get what you could carry until you made more room. Well I only had room for 8 enhancements when I clicked "Get" the first time and ALL 10 of the IOs I bought vanished.

Hopefully the market coming down on test is a sign that they are working on it. But there seems to be several market bugs floating around, so who knows.

Another friend just got bit by this. I've changed two MOTDs to tell people not to buy stacked items from the market. UGH.

Hopefully no one lost too much. I only lost maybe 4-5 million, but that included a good bit that I sacrificed knowingly to test some variables.

That's the big problem with changing the market. I imagine it's quite hard to get much of a stress test as most people aren't interested in testing the market on the test server.

Somebody HAD mentioned that they were having problems with the Auction House "losing" items on test. The problem they described seemed to be more related to slots, but the two issues might be related somehow... I don't really claim to know, but weird things happen sometimes.

Guess it's a good thing I cleared out all the WW inventories on all my toons before i17 was released.

The problem is that a new feature crept in: the ability to put in an order for multiple enhancements and inspirations. Who knows if this was intended. If it was, being aware of it would have allowed people to test it. As is, one has to fall upon it. Something which is hard to due, since marketing on test is, as was mentioned, limited.

Guessing it was very intentional since it always seemed silly that you couldn't bid on stacks of recipes or inspirations, but the relative lack of a functioning market on test made testing these sorts of things difficult if not impossible.

They took the blackmarket down on live now. They should really not roll these issues out until they are functional. Its daft.

As said, without much of a market on test this bug apparently just wasn't picked up on. They can't delay release of an Issue to fix a bug they don't know exists.
