Lots of pages, i didn't read all. My thoughts are that /dark is a sweet set but i've deleted 3 /dark toons due to endurance issues.

My latest is a spines/dark. WHEW. I have so many toggles that i can't even attack. I jump in a mob and hit spine burst and i'm half consumed already. I have 2-3 end red in each toggle also.

3 toggles use .52 in /dark and spines. That's extremely high when it don't count the defense toggles or pool power toggles. I'm currently at level 34 with stamina 3 slotted and still can't do alot more than jump in a mob and hope to cause fear in them but that's hard considering teh accuracy is a ridiculous 50%. Is there another power with acc that low in the game?

Yea. I took Smurphs idea. It went to delete can. I dont have a ranged toon, so it didnt hurt me any.

Well, it's not just me. I know the diff between me DC and server when i log back in and am the only one standing there. lol. Then everyone in Atlas asking if anyone else dc'd. I run no anti virus while gaming and VERY rarely dc, that's why i was curious.

I remember a year or better ago, Justice doing this. I almost switched all my toons. If it's gonna go back to that, i'll be looking for another home. SOON.

Well, after about 35 hours i got my purple horse. It came in the form of an Apocolypse: Dam/Rech. Nice one. 35 bidding and 0 for sale atm. Last 5 are between 140-155mill crafted. Options as followsl;

A) Craft and sell.
B) Hold CC for it.
C) Sell to vendor.
D) Sell for 5 million to set a trend. (though unlikely) It'd more than likely just be flipped.

Decisions, decisions....

Yes, play fewer toons so you can get burned out on the game. That would kill the game faster than the anti-farmer threads. imo.

I think learning to play a /storm toon (which is my fave) req's some of the most talent and/or common sense. Or possibly managing endurance on a spines/dark scrapper. (which i can't really do. even with 2 and 3 end.red.'s in the toggles and stamina 3 slotted.)

My wife and i team alot. I'd say a troller and a damage dealer. About any of te 2 would work.

Ice/Rad troller with say an Fire/Shield tank. Ice has awesome holds and the tank is like a scranker tank.

Fire/Storm troller and say a Spines/Dark scrapper. (though the /dark would be better with a /Kin for SB)

We run with an Ill/Storm and a Ice/DM tank.

So, you're saying i'm illogical because i'd rather be able to get drops than to buy them in WW? To me, that sounds illogical. I don't play the game to travel to WW and see what other people have for sale. I'd rather play CoH, kill mobs get drops, etc. WW is too much of a hassle for me. I think it's stupid how people say "do the work" and refer to playing the market to get stuff. I have blamed players for taking advantage of the system, BUT i also have said it was the DEVS fault due to the low drop rates. Not just purples, even orange recipes for me seem to drop for others rather than my account. lol. Maybe its a nemesis plot.

Then again, the game hates me i guess because i don't get the "shinies" while farming and i refuse to flip crap in WW. So, call me illogical, ignorant or whatever because i find it stupid to HAVE to use WW to get my toons stuff rather than play the game i purchased and pay for each month. Peace out.

Anyways, i'm not sure about the drop rates but i know after 30+ hours of farming this week alone (BP and demon), i've gotten crap drops. Not 1 recipe crafted to sell over a mil inf. And that's a regular thing for me. I have 2 accounts and my sk was getting about 7 recipe drops to my 1. Guess i just have bad luck.

I can name several recipes that i've never even seen drop on my accounts over 4 years. Any numinas, respecs, miracle (big one), ToD, any purp in over 3 months, just to name a few. That's alot of playing on your "ok" drop rates not to get any of those several types at all.

I have always said the drop rate is too low. The devs rates suck, imo. But it dont help that there ARE people out there that hurt the market prices by taking advantage of it. It wouldn't be so bad if people bought the stuff to use. Buying to jack the price up is stupid. It's hurting the people that actually want the stuffs game because some people,myself included, don't want to "play the market" game to build inf. Don't pity the poor people, but realize not everyone wants to be a marketeer. I'd rather farm so i can at least play my toon and not look for "niches". Flame on...

is justice the only server to keep dc'ing? the wholer server went down an hour ago, then i just got dc again in map. not sure if it was the server again, i stayed off.

All you gotta do is sit in Atlas now and get to 50. Then go get ebil in WW. I think that about sums it up these days for most.

blah. same ol same. whoever wants to spend that inf can. i'm not and know plenty more that wont. i dont care if my toon isnt as good as anyone elses. not like i'm gonna pvp anyway and i can last just as long in pve as any io'd toon. i have more fun than sitting in WW. if thats how someone wants to spend their 15 bux, cool.

you can't come to the market forums and say "cheaper". too many greedy people here for that and you'll just get flamed. trust me. (i agree wityh you though) everything is too high. i'll never spend those prices.

I say take AE out of Atlas. Maybe only 1 AE building period. But then everyone will just end up in PI pl'ing again. It's gonna happen regardless. It's funny how so many forums posts are complaints but how FULL the farms are.

I spent 300 million by turning it into prestige. It's a pretty bad inf>prestige ratio but so is paying for the greed sets..

LOL Johnny. /dark needs an accuracy boost imo. I've made 2 brand new toons. Both blasters. Elec/elec and ice/mental. I can attack with all 4 powers several times and still have blue. I don't know any powers ive made lately that only get 2 attacks and done.

Well, i think, the IO system and WW are two different things. I love the IO system but i don't like my IO'ing dependant on WW and other peoples greed. As i've said before. When asked if WW keeps people here, and the answer is "i love io'ing my build", i feel like those are 2 different beasts. imo.

Doktor, you might wanna check the Dark Melee powerset. It's the level 32 power. It's also a lovely thing!
