Midnight Grasp = The Force?

So When you use Midnight Grasp as a killing blow and the Tentacles don't appear, I always feel like some kinda Jedi Knight.

I just stick my hand out and my enemy crumples before me. It's become one of my favorite things to do lately. Anyone else get this feeling or is it just me?

Now if only I could get a beam sword in addition my life would be complete.

Dark also gets Siphon Life for the loltastic finisher.

Doktor, you might wanna check the Dark Melee powerset. It's the level 32 power. It's also a lovely thing!

It doesn't do any damage.

[/ QUOTE ]Might you be thinking of Touch of Fear? i'm pretty sure ToF is the only attack in Dark Melee that does no damage.

Good point. The animation for Twilight Grasp is quite different from the Midnight Grasp animation described in the OP, but the powers do have very similar names.

Yea I ment midnight grasp haha. I agree with the siphon life comment. Always a fun power to use to kill someone off.

I have a Dark/Fire Brute that I created an emote bind that I use when I 'defeat' someone with Siphon Life -- the 'Victory' emote while saying "Fatality!". It's gotten a number of laughs.

My guy's a DM/shield so when I use Siphon Life I like to imagine my guy saying
"Look at my shield! Look AT IT!"
haha.

I don't know if anything will beat saying "This is not the stalker you're looking for" while using placate on an enemy. That's a personal favorite

When my DM/Shield finishes off someone with Siphon Life, I say "Soul STEAL!" in a deep melodramatic voice.

I also have been known to say "Dark Metamorphosis!" (in the same voice) when toggling on Cloak of Darkness on various characters, and saying "This is very suspicious-looking!" (in a high voice) when at a glowy.
