    Where to now?

For the most part I'll be here till the servers shut down for the last time.

After that I'll more then likely be on lotro, DDO, DCU (PS3), or Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine.

    See ya around.

    That I did.
  3. Good enough reason, realistically, but then again realism doesn't seem to hold much water in this game.
  4. I know that energy can ignite the oil slick, except when it bugs up. What I meant to ask was is there any thematic reasoning that EMP can't ignite the oil slick, outside of it not being a robotic entity.
  5. I was talking with a friend today about the Trick Arrow set, mostly Oil Slick Arrow and an interesting question came up, should the EMP Arrow be able to ignite the Oil Slick Arrow?
  6. Could it be something exclusive to the Clockwork pet? I've been playing with my Red Cap pet for a while today also, I was playing with my Mek Man pet earlier today and neither of them did anything.

One cat maybe, but who said there was only one cat in that picture.

Where's the fun in that? Also you don't get an increase in post count if you go back and check your old posts...
  9. LFT: Looking for Team

    AT: Archetype

PL: Power leveling: in short repeating the same mission over and over for quick and easy experience (if you're new to the game I'd suggest staying away from groups advertising farms or PLs)

I think someone made a list with the abbreviations and their explanations, for the life of me I can't find it.

I thought so too when I first clicked the link.

I was being a smart-[censored]... I knew that they weren't branding marks. I always kind of figured they were battle scars from fighting the other heroes in the city.

Of course! The three parallel clean cuts are from SCRAPPER CLAWS! Why didn't I think of that!

You mean Generichero 12866 is at it again?

They are criss-crossed with scars all over, which are most definitely NOT whip marks.

Most definitely not whip marks, branding marks on the other hand... that's all I'm saying, well that and never fall asleep around those Illusionists...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually, no, the scars are deep, not puffed up like branding marks.

    Take a look: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/File:Carnival-Strongman.jpg

The scars are relatively short (compared to whip marks), irregular in length, they criss-cross. They indent, some are clean and some are jagged and uneven in both width and depth. There's several different kinds of wounds here.

The ones on the left arm even partially encircle the arm and are both clean and even. No way a ring or a whip caused that.

Honestly, I think they're supposed to be battlescars, given the irregularity and inconsistency of the wounds, and that like someone else pointed out, anything else is purely subtext.

I take it you never read the bio on Bronze Strongmen.

The Strongmen of the Carnival of Shadows are capable of amazing feats of strength. The Bronze Strongmen are recruited for their potential and are dominated by the Ring Mistresses. They are then put through a rigorous training regimen to achieve their Herculean physique and are sealed in their helmets.

CoH is a smorgasbord of BDSM.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Honestly, I figured there were probably more, but my brain could not conjure them up. And Strongmen also have whip marks on their backs if I'm not mistaken.

Final Fight had a gender bent character, yet still had a T-rating.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Dare I mention Flea from Chrono Trigger? Which funnily enough was/is rated E.
  15. <QR>

I think as far as rating goes, cross-dressing falls under suggestive themes for media rated T-MA (well, X if you wanna be technical).

I wonder why they didn't do villain trainers the way they did the hero ones? Recluse can't spare Mako or Ghost Widow?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Probably because they can't be both a trainer and a mission contact... and they had plans for them with the Patron Arcs. That would be my guess.

That doesn't stop Statesman from being in Independence Port and Prateoria at the same time...

    Water

    [ QUOTE ]
Can we PLEASE!!! Have WATER POWERS!!!. We have ice, fire, earth, lightning, even wind powers but nothing with water.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I could be a real smart [censored] here and point out that technically ice sets are water-based powerset but I wont.

From what I keep hearing the devs tried to make a water-based blasting set but couldn't make it look right so instead they changed it to Energy Blast.

Aren't all the Giant Monsters in the game a part of the Canon of the game? If they are, shouldn't they all be fought?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Why? They aren't doing anything. Lusca isn't attacking any boats, Babbage isn't stealing anyone's purse. Leave the poor monsters alone and go fight some of those muggers you keep running past, "hero."

    [/ QUOTE ]

Jack in Irons is guilty of the serious offense of indecent exposure. No mortal should ever have to see such a frightening sight.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You think it's bad for the mortals, the immortal people have to live with that image burned in their minds for eternity. *shudder*

... because having two AE knockdowns in stone melee has destroyed the game.

Should I point out that Stone Melee also has Build Up and not Rage?
I'm just saying that may be a deciding factor in balancing Stone Melee and Super Strength, I could be wrong though.

I'm terrible at this game apparently.
  23. Hello, I think I may have what your looking for, this is what I came up with, from his bio he sounded like an anti-hero so that is what I modeled him after (more or less), I used the stitched face because you said he was experimented on by Vahzilok.
  24. Ah, for some reason it was looking like tribal on the glove, no idea why.
  25. Let me be the first to say welcome to the forums, also that costume looks very cool, I have to ask is that the razor design on the gloves and boots or just on the boots?
