I'm on Justice right now, no problems.

Make sure you're not running firewalls that interfere with your connection.

Yep, no problems here, an hour ago, or all day
I'm fine, just the odd DC about once a month...
Flameanator (50+1 Fire/Fire Tanker - Justice)
Mr.Defendo (50 FF/Arch Defender - Justice)
Willing Havoc (45 Elec/WP Brute - Freedom)
Paragon Lad (32 Claws/SR Scrapper - Justice)
Global: @Mr.Defendo
If you (the OP) have frequent DCs that don't affect others on the server, it's almost certainly an issue with your connection and not the server.
If it continues to be a problem, I'd suggest posting in the Tech forum; they may be able to help you identify what is causing the DCs.

My entire team kept lagging out and mapserving during our TF yesterday. We have been getting very bad lag spikes over there for the last 2 weeks. Others have been talking about it in one of the global channels, so it isn't just us.
I have seen/heard a lot of Justice lag, mapserver issues the last few days from players on teams and in chat channels, but I haven't seen a single hiccup.
I wondered if there's a geographic element to it, more an internet bandwidth issue. *shrug*
Last night (all day yesterday actually) I was having some very bad lag, rubberbanding, pauses, mapserve disconnects, and finally a complete disconnect on Protector.
But then also: I've been having issues with firefox - sometimes, oddly enough, when windows is trying to search for updates it seems that it too has something to do with this. I only say that because it seems like whenever my firefox disconnects get the worst, shortly after comes a Windows update...
But I did notice, and I wasn't alone (and the other wasn't even in the same coastline as me) on Protector that there was a lot of mapserve/lag/banding.

Sounds like it might be a problem with connectivity to the whole west coast server block. I've been getting similar problems with Virtue for the past week.

Well, it's not just me. I know the diff between me DC and server when i log back in and am the only one standing there. lol. Then everyone in Atlas asking if anyone else dc'd. I run no anti virus while gaming and VERY rarely dc, that's why i was curious.
I remember a year or better ago, Justice doing this. I almost switched all my toons. If it's gonna go back to that, i'll be looking for another home. SOON.
Yeah, I'm on Protector and for about the last week I've been mapservering and rubberbanding like crazy, and so have most of the people I've teamed with. It's been so bad at times that I've had to just give up wand walk away because I couldn't get anything done. It's definitely not just you and not just Justice, judging by the other reports in this thread...I would guess that all the storms lately did something to the connections to the west coast servers, but then again, I have no idea.

This. I've had trouble with losing network connection to Guardian the past few days (I put up netgraph for a couple of missions, it's really obvious when the pings time out), and no issues with any of the east coast servers.
I'm guessing a router in the path is having issues - whether a bad routing table due to damaged/downed lines or simply hardware damage.
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

Well, I've had a few problems (ranging from LCMS, to 'forcibly disconnected') this weekend...
And if I had to guess I'd say it might have something to do with the Aion US Beta testing & some portion of the NCsoft server farm? being a bit overloaded.
Good luck getting constructive help - I had problems with Aion 2 weeks ago during the 1st Aion beta weekend and I got the standard "send us a hijackthis log", then "well shutdown your firewall and see if that helps", NEITHER of which had anything to do with the trouble I was having.
Turned out they were (are?) using a different version of the client (the korean one iirc) AND the Aion Downloader they had everyone using wasn't compatible with the most recent version of the NCsoft Launcher available for download on the NCsoft site.
Had to completely banish the NCsoft Launcher.
And, at the beginning of the whole mess I still had an old version of the PlayNC Launcher - that I had to get rid of first... Along with the last version of the TR Test client that would never uninstall properly. Not wanting to screw anything up, I'd just left it - Heck, I could go in and load up the TR login screen and watch the Cinematic trailer.
Anywho, I had to go in and delete the whole freaking NCsoft folder then go through with one of the SB S&D utilities and remove a little bit of remaining garbage, thank god CoX has it's own folder!
Then - I let the Aion.exe Downloader install/use the specific (old-ish) version of the NCsoft Launcher it need to install Aion properly... sheesh.
lots of help /sarcasm
"Send us a hijackthis log", and multiple auto-responses "your reply wasn't above this line and below this line (which it was - like 6 times), and then the "turn off your firewall" B.S.
Yeah, I know that stuff could in theory have caused some people problems getting the game installed & whatnot. But, I also knew it wasn't the problem in that particular instance! /sarcasm
The NCsoft GM's are great, the tech support people - not so much - at least not in my recent/personal experience. *shrug*
City of Heroes didn't fail, City of Heroes was killed. If a 747 dropped on your house, you'd say you were killed, not you failed to find a safer dwelling.

Yes, which is why I said "IF others are not affected". It is not unusual to for people to assume that any and every connection problem is a server issue and not their own connection.
For what it's worth, Justice is my home server and I haven't had any lag/DC problems recently. It certainly could be happening when I'm not logged on, but I saw people on JFA complaining about lag once lately, when I wasn't having any problems. So it may not be affecting everyone equally.
