Quote:Speaking of cool weapons, I wish they'd model this in the gameIt's interesting how great the game looks in that video. I think it's because it's shot with digital vibrance set to double max
Still, that just goes to show how cool the Redding Rail Rifle is. I still wish that were available for Robotics.
As far as shotguns go, this one is pretty spiffy (and for the gun geeks, no I dont care about actual performance, it just looks damn cool). -

Quote:Of all the people who I would have thought would have broadband, it would be the guy living at the north pole. I guess the Family Guy holiday special was way off markYou all are lucky you aren't on dial-up. I'll be lucky to play by the weekend.
And no, I can't get broadband where I live. -

Yeah... yeah, scooped I know, but I didn't feel like going back 10 pages looking for the other thread
Pretty cool VW commercial though -

My L50's?
Quote:Yeah, that about sums it up.It shall be the heirloom of my kingdom. All that who should follow in my bloodline shall be bound to its fate, for I will risk no hurt to the Ring. It is precious to me."-Isildur -
Agreed, I like the option of being a vigilante, there is just no compelling reason to stay. I'm fine with the polar alignments getting the merits and cool powers I'd just like to get missions and stories that make me feel like a vigilante on a regular basis through contacts instead of being a fifth wheel for the polar guys.

I will save this right next to my cool *** map of Hyboria!

I bet if that were to pass, it would be called MarvelDC and some suit would decided to trim titles based on what sold the best out the two companies then to further streamline things they would have a MUSE (MUltiverse Shaking Event) to combine the two universes (because somebody thought it was cool) and totally ruin things further from there.

Sigh... to each there own, but like extremis Tony, I just can get behind the crazy tech stuff like that (I can dig a Cyborg although there seems an obvious parallel with DC's own Cyborg)

Well I'm always down for seeing the Galactica hustle around.

Heh...adamantium with titanium teeth...
Why wouldn't the ultimate predator guy have adamantium teeth as well?
I always get a chuckle out of titanium, great stuff and a beautiful metal when polished (I keep a bar of it as a paper weight) but there are steel alloys that just flat out blow titanium away when it comes to really tough stuff. -

Cheeks, a.k.a. Firehawk, a.k.a. Nighthawk (Anthony Licata)
Wonder if he drove a Pontiac Firebird? - that would truly make me LMAO - Othewise I guess this guy must've been into nocturnal acts of arson? -
I solo'd him as a blaster then had to duo as a scrapper so now after walking a mile in another man's shoes I can somewhat understand it. Still wasn't to hard though.

Quote:Was thinking about the subway tunnels myself. We can visit them in Praetoria, but it would be neat to also visit them in primal earth as well, complete with a train hazardThe Train. The Train should be an actual zone or mini-map where things happen. When was the last time you saw superheroes in movies or comics take the train to get to the scene of a crime? Never. But when was the last time you saw superheroes doing cool stuff ON a train? Batman Begins, Spider-Man 2, Hellboy, HEROES Season 1, etc.
The Train as a convenience for traveling between zones makes sense in a modern MMO setting, but it falls very short of feeling like the superhero genre it is being used in. Give me the chance to do something on that train, instead of having it be just a door with multiple destinations.
The same can apply to ferries, arachnos flyers, blimps and the shuttle that would take you to various destinations within the four Shadow Shard zones if it existed. -
Quote:Micronauts fanA Micro and a Macro zone. Superheroes being shrunk is a common staple of comic book lore. I'd like to see a zone where your hero gets shrunk to the size of a subatomic particle, and the zone is a whole new world--with new subatomic enemies to battle and subatomic friends to protect. Similarly, maybe our own universe is just an atom in some bigger universe, and your hero could be "gianted" to participate in events in that huge universe, helping to defend the little speck of a universe we call home.
