Quote:And what a good reason to quit for, Bruce Wayne didn't owe the world [censored]. He paid a dearly in terms of the damage to his body, the death of his parents and the death of Rachel (even though Harvey had won here over) all to take on the crime and corruption in Gotham then add to that the cover up over Dents death and Batman taking the PE#1 spot.I don't care because as far as I'm concerned he quit. he quit because he found a gal to settle down with
I'm glad he got the girl and walked away from being both Batman and Bruce Wayne, he deserved it. -
Hmmmm.... I suppose to one up the current Iron man, Tony Stark will have been completely replaced with unobtanium laced bucky balls and nano-tubes filled with phomblin holding nano mega super computers creating a self contained cloud containing his distilled intelligence and personality while simultaneously backing himself up on every IPhone, IPad, and IPod on the planet in an Apple product placement cross-over.

Quote:Yeah should have mentioned that too! Sigh... really wish we had a politics and religion forum because this is all hypothetical and we are just hammering out the plot to an AE arc featuring Crey and thier international businessThen they realize that they could simply contract some Chinese company to manufacture their product for pennies on the dollar, which is good because all of those now unemployed and under employed Americans wouldn't be able to afford the product if it was still made in America (while maintaining the same profit per unit).

Quote:I remember NASA taking a picture of the smog from space - it made big business in the US weep tears of jealousy -the money they could save if allowed to kill ten thousand or so americans every year due to poor air quality.I'm certainly no expert....
but I happened to be in China last month and never saw the sun for the 15 days I was there. Travelling from Beijing to Shanghai, and various cities in between.... it was continual smog. I think what the picture may be showing is the miracle of sun breaking through the pollution.
A quick search of youtube videos of this "event" looks like a cloudy sky with the sun breaking though. Perhaps a spectacular event to a city that has not seen our life-giving sun for some time....... -
Forbidden Fire!
I think my debut album will be called "Prometheus"
It will be pretentious and filled with self loathing over my privileged upper middle class suburban lifestyle. -

I wonder what the cars will be like? I wonder if they will be using a Falcon? The current car is supercharged - although its appearence is subded compared to the original or the old 5.4 used in the Falcon.
Sigh...I bet the studio will try to make a green statement and all of the cars will be hybrids or full on electrics. -
Wot be the same, nobody can replace Kurtwood Smith as Clarence Boddicker and do the line "******* leave" properly!

Quote:Man, you lied to me like somebody here lied to me about Immortals being a better movie than 300.Aha! Heh. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Um... no.
This thing is a steaming pile of crap. Bad dialog, bad acting, plot holes you can drop the Sun through, all the characters seem to have an I.Q. of 65. I was wondering how they get dressed in the morning they are so stupid. The move just flat out makes no sense. Just truly terrible.
"It's beautiful" No it's not you moron! It's a giant (and I kid you not) wang! Wait! What? Now it has wings and a (woman's piece of anatomy) for a face! It's making warning noises to back off. Yes by all means go try to pet it.
AND THAT'S NOT EVEN THE STUPIDEST PART OF THE MOVIE.
I really enjoyed Prometheus -
Damn, only four billion years! Time to get out that bucket list and start crossing some more things off.

Call me a curmudgeon, but I actually enjoy the act of driving, just wandering aimlessly for a coupla hours on some backroad or off the beaten path is a simple pleasure. I'd much rather drive to my destination than take a plane or a train if I have the time.
I suppose the automated part would be cool if I could go non-stop except for fuel, would sure make cross-country drives alot more productive since I tend to get tired after about 16 or 17 hours of straight driving (most I ever drove was 21 hours straight from Kansas to Virginia - dont think I'll do that again) -

Sweet, and not a momment to soon since it seems like alot of people can't be bothered to actually drive a car anymore.
Also cant wait to see how many of these things clog up the left hand lane. -

Quote:Goober worked at Wally's Filling Station, thats why I remeber him as a tow truck driver.I thought Scooter was the tow truck driver? No, wait, that was a different show wasn't it...
I think the last time I watched the Andy Griffith show was back in the 80's, cartoons then the Andy Griffith show, followed by the Dick Van **** show, and I Love Lucy.
The local station played all this old stuff; Gomer Pyle, Hazel, Bewitched, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, Rat Patrol and so on. It was Nick at Nite well before there was a Nick at Nite -
Didn't Goodr drive a towtruck? Thats how I remeber him anyway.
