I can get to the select a server screen but when I choose one it won't let me in. It goes back to the main screen with "You must fill out the account and password field to log into your account!"
Well ummm, how could I get to the select a server screen without that information? lol

OK, now it makes me laugh but when I first started I was like...ummm is the whole game like this?

I haven't been playing like I used to since MA, maybe once or twice a week now. So I log in tonight and a friend tells me I have to read this thread.
My gut feeling says this guy is pulling our leg. It's possible he just posted this to show what types of players are out there since MA arrived. However if he's not....shame on all of you for being so helpful and encouraging him or anybody who knows nothing about the game and gets to 50 without ever leaving the AE building.
The only advice he deserves is to re-roll a character, READ about the game, and PLAY the game.

I'm not sure how it's making 'us' look bad. The guy specifically and purposely logged into the game just to give people a hard time. This is a game, it's supposed to be fun and he made it to where it was not. But what? Because the guy is a professor and wrote an article his behavior is acceptable? Not to mention the years it took him and the hours logged in just to write some article about how people react when he knowingly and intentionally acted like a turd in the punch bowl. The time he spent on his research could of been spent on something way more important and controversial. Personally I think the guy is *twists index finger around head in a circular motion*

In my opinion STF and RSF are not hard enough SF/TF for this idea. Nobody does hami anymore, maybe for that but not RSF/STF.
A master run should get something special other than a title though.

So the day VEAT's came out I made my widow. I lvl'd her up to 50 as a widow, did the RSF on her, then did my alt build as a fortunata. I've been playing as a fortunata for months now. I just logged in and went to look at my widow build and it's saying I'm lvl 1. Did I miss something here? Where did my alt build go?

Helping new players isn't as fun as it used to be. I remember going into The Hollows speed boosting folks and TP'ing them to mission doors. I'd get on my emp and hit the sewers and be a guardian angel to the new players while talking in local chat about the game.
On red side I'd get on my kin and speed boost folks as they ran by. Sometimes people would stop and chat with me about the game.
Since MA, hardly anybody runs the sewers, goes to The Hollows or does missions in Mercy.

That's because 100mil went towards Richard Garriott's costumes.

You guessed wrong...I was talking about paying for the costume packs. (Wedding/Magic/Valkarie)

Why oh why isn't the crab backpack bug fixed? (In bane form it still shows)
We pay for new costume pieces and stuff like this still isn't fixed? Where is that money going? Shouldn't some of that money go towards fixing costume bugs? So annoying.
Oh, and fixing the patron plaques would be nice too.

What this game does NOT need is more MA's. There are tons out there already. IMO there should be a change so that there are not so many out there. I've been trying to do 3-4 MA's a day (not the farming ones) and I just can't keep up. Some of you have great stories, some..not so great but I'm trying to see the creations so many of you have put a lot of time and thought into. But of course, I can't see them all. I might be seeing 20% which is pretty low.

Yeah, I know...I'll admit it I'm a costume fanatic and I'll buy it just like all the others. But when was the last time we got free costume pieces? All I can think of is the wedding pack, cyborg pack, valkarie pack and now this. It's been a long wile since we got anything free when it comes to costumes. (I think? I really can't remember any new costume pieces that were free since they started charging for it)

I will, and do tell stormies not to use hurricane. That is a situational power and when a kin is your only heal on the team, well...I don't need to explain that. And when you have a lot of AOE's on the team, yeah no hurricane. Oh..and no hurricane on an ITF unless you're at Rom. Nothing more annoying than having all of those Romans all over the map.

Nice stuff but............we're going to have to pay for any new costume stuff from now on? I'd rather get the costume stuff for free and pay for expansions. At least that way new issues might come out without so many bugs.

Ummm no, they won't. It's not like you can't play the game, you just can't play it on the server you want to. But I share your frustration, they should of opened up all of the servers at the same time.

When my kids keep asking me the same question when I'm not going to change my answer I placate them

My son likes to log my toons out in pvp zones. ( I do pvp but not hard core)
So I log in RV in a pill box. The guns are killing me before I can even get my toggles on. So I'm half dead and running and somebody shoots at me. I just keep running. "RUN COWARD!" in broadcast. I know this guy saw me in the pill box because he was shooting at me before I got 5 feet from it. Duh, of course I'm going to run.

Very good point. They only way to fix this would be to grey out your 25th power in pvp? But yes, it needs to be addressed.
