VEAT Active Build

So the day VEAT's came out I made my widow. I lvl'd her up to 50 as a widow, did the RSF on her, then did my alt build as a fortunata. I've been playing as a fortunata for months now. I just logged in and went to look at my widow build and it's saying I'm lvl 1. Did I miss something here? Where did my alt build go?

When you go to do another Active build it starts at lvl 1, always. That way you can pick your powers the way you want to just like a respec.

Say you want a Fortunata on one build and the other you want a Blood widow. That's the way it works.

He said that his main build was a Widow (before the dual builds addition). He then went and created his 2nd build later (the Fort), and when trying to go back to the Widow later, found that his Widow build didn't exist.

I'm not sure what's going on with your character, but I'm going to echo a previous poster: are you sure you didn't just respec the Widow into a Fort by mistake?

if you use the second build all the lv's are already there. you dont have to lv up again, just train through the lv's.

[/ QUOTE ]Come on Quint, you are normally beteer than this. He is saying that something happened to his Original build which used to be a fully leveled up widow, but now shows that build as only trained to level 1 after switching back.

I don't know how he could have accidentally respecified instead of creating a second build. The two options are not even possible at the same contacts.

And if he had a primary build before, what happened to all of his enhancements? You would think they would have gone somewhere. After all, you can't use the same enhancements on both builds.

I'd /bug it. It doesn't sound like you could have made a mistake here. Your primary build should still be intact.

Arbiter Lupin and Arbiter.... drawing a blank now... are right next to each other in Nerva.

One does respecs, one does levels (and would be who you went to to do the second build.)

Now, yes, the process is somewhat different - honestly, I don't recall what the respec guy says even, or if he just throws you into the respec. There's potential for confusion there, though.

Any questions we might have for what the OP saw and such, though, would be moot - he did say he's been playing her that way for months. There is a clue, though, if he remembers - two, actually.

1. Leveling from 1, with the alternate build, will (as I recall) force you into the level 24 respec process on the second build (which IMHO is *very* irritating,) since the second build is building from the ground up. A respec, however, will let you pick the branch right away.

(In other words, Second build:
Choose powers from 1-23, then it tells you to respec, and starts you at level 1 but with the powers open again.)

Respec after 24:
You can pick Night widow or Fort branch right away with your first power.)

2. If it let you re-slot enhancements, it was a respec. If you had none past what was in your tray - 10 max - you did a second build.
