What NOT to do in CoX
Recieving about 2-3 tells a minute for the eintire duration of your play time on your defender to the effect of,
"R U heelor?"
You shouldn't need one if you're worth 2 gobs of spit and a jar of cold p*ss.
What not to do in CoX?

When you do get powerleveled, constantly telling your mentor what to do.
Activating MoG without warning.
don't ask a question about geography without checking your map first and don't ask what enhancements are for if you've played the tutorial and/or you have the manual sitting neglected in front of you

How about
* Ignore inquiries from teammates - For example: Are you Ready? Dont' shoot pls. Pls let me gain END before next group.
* Fail to communicate when you are not ready.
* Not check to see who's Sidekicked (SK'd) and who's not.
* Ignore "don't pull w/the blaster, hold on..." tells. You'll learn. Painfully.
* Not check the "Hey, isn't that a Quantum?" on any channel. It's the Kheldie's life, and poss team wipe. AKA - you ALL can get debt if ignored.
More out there.
Noobs Kill Stealing---and when you inform them that Kill Stealing is frowned upon by the community they reply with "Cry much?" . After this the conversation usually follows with..."br34k 0ut Y0urz h1ghest lvl her0 so I can k1ck your butt with my lvl 25 corrupter"
Ok spamming any channel sucks, I think that pretty much gets agreement from everyone, including spammers themselves when they're not one doing it.
Activating MoG without warning? You're kidding right? that shouldn't effect anyone but the scrapper. The healer should be able to recognize it when it happens and not toss more than one heal their way till its over. Besides, if you were healing them they probably wouldn't have needed MoG. Also, usually the scrapper is scrapping for their life as well as yours when it gets activated, doubtful there is time to send even a quick memo to the group.
Blind group invites are good in my book. At times its hard enough to get a group in the first place. A lot of people are like me and pass right over people that are bitter to blind invites. To me and my friends if the comment says "no blind invites" what it really means is "I don't want to team with anyone". I also noticed something else strange... if you say "no blind invites" you tend to get spammed with team invites a lot, lol. That should tell you something...
Another one is team members that go afk immediately after entering the mission in the hopes that they can just safely sit there and suck up xp. I'm surprised they're that dumb as to think its not noticed. They get booted fast.
When someone dings in the middle of a fight and takes off to level up. And the fight is not over... and they're the healer! Then they complain that you kicked them off the team for no reason.
Someone that uses a friend list diligently as a contact list every time they log on and ask the same questions.
"r u there"
"u on a team"
"can I join yur team"
I can go on but I'm pretty long winded as you can see.

Actually, no....
Back in the days when I played my MC/Empath that was one of the things I hated most. First of all because in the heat of the battle, i pretty much saw health go down and would react by trying to heal the toon. Since I was also trying to keep my mezes from breaking, I hardly kept tract of who I had healed before.
Secondly, because since that was my first toon, and I had never played a scrapper (and havent played one yet) I had no idea of what MoG was. In all honesty, it's not the healer's responsability to know what scrapper powers are. The healer's responsability is to know what a healers powers are.
And now for my pet peeve:
Don't invite a team for a mission you got 4 levels ago.
Don't invite people for hunt missions and then go off on your own killing stuff and expecting everyone else to do the same. If you are going to do that, just go ahead and solo the dumb mission.
Send tells to people on the otherside of the law without turning on your See Hero/Villian chat.
Brag about how many toons you have powerlevelled to 50 and then ask what basic powers are (powers available to the same AT and powerset that you claimed to have PL'd).
Six slot Brawl or Rest.
Send tells to four different people all on the same team asking for invites.
Send mistells to the person that you were complaining about with a friend.
Tell the level 50 Tank what can and can not be herded.
Respond to anyone questioning your tactics or answers with "I have a level 50".
Assume that everyone on the team is of the same sexual orientation or that they have the gender of their toon.
Do the Envoy of Shadows story arc.
More experienced players should not type /unhide
Hold conversations between yourself and one other person over broadcast. If holding it with multiple recepients it should be kept as brief as possible.
You shouldn't forget to switch to Team Chat when you join a team. People don't want to hear it on Request and Broadcast.
Do NOT powerlevel in any way, whether it be asking or participating(just my opinion)
Do not try to tank with a blaster.
Do not try to herd the entire map, even though thats not possible anymore.

LOL, yeah I'm starting to live by this one. SG member friends tend to watch my prestige and if it goes up, they know I'm online.
when your server goes down, do not go to another server that is up, roll up a hero toon, and skip the out break tutorial, just to spam in atlas broadcast, that "*server_name they are currently on* sux, *server_name they play on* is better".

Hey, just let me enjoy my 17 guys, okay? It's winter, and I need them to keep warm.
President of the Arbiter Sands fan club. We will never forget.
An Etruscan Snood will nevermore be free
Don't ask where the Hollows are, when you have a map and two eyes. (sorry, I know this is sort of a legit question but it just ticks me off)
Do not send a tell with an invite right behind it when someone has in their search comments, "No blind invites."
Do not expect that someone will want to sk with you, just because its uber XP!
If you're a level 9 ish person and you see people fighting a level 26 group/ambush, don't attack, you're wasting your time.
Do not click go to base when defeated in abandoned sewers and then exit the base through main exit - it puts you back to exact spot you died with those Rikti bosses still waiting for you.
Do not hold a costume contest in Atlas when drunk.
Do not assume that you are safe standing anywhere in the game, even with police drones around.
Do not open closed doors in missions to explore while teammates are AFK.
Do not exit a mission until you are ready to move on to the next mission or log. This applies especially if you have the letters def in your archtype name and even more so if you have emp in your description.
Seems like a fun post and I'm bored so here goes.
Do not yell at people new to the game, calmly explain to them why what they are doing is frowned upon. (Keep the player base friendly)
Do not trust scrappers to act properly in groups.
Do not call those guys with the blue shield beside their name healers.
When someone ask for you to PST before invite, Please, just send them a brief tell about what they are getting into. Its not that we don't want to team, we would like to know what we are getting into first. (Lvl 20-22 team fighting lvl 22-24's want to join?) Not to hard, and saves us both time in the long run.
Do not yell "We need an Empath" they are nice, but not every team needs one.
Don't use the excuse "SG is calling" when you have to bail on your team in the heat of battle.
When you get in on a tf, and the Leader explains how long this will take, how many missions it will be, and that you will not be able to rejoin when you quit, do not tell him/her that you have the time when you don't. *Shakes fists at the last two hess tf's I ran* Started with 8 both ended with only 3 on the team.
Do not send a blind invite when you when you want someone to bridge, who in their right mind wants to stand there while you go arrest people. (I think this has to be the worst kind of blind invite)
Asking for a bit of influence to start you out from a 50 in AP is not the worst thing in the world, but if they say no, don't get upset. (This is probably why im poor)
Do not send a blind invite for someone to Join your Super Group.
Do not kill the anchors first, we are not asking that you save them for the very end, but seriously stop targeting them for the first kill.
I know this is tough, because it does deal with PVP, no one wants to hear you spam in the broadcast channel how you beat someone, or how they ran away followed by 10 comments refering to them as a "Girl" or something along those lines. "Scratch one Hero/Villian" or something to that extent works fine not 20 messages filling up everyones chat window.
Don't name your hero "qwaasfdwef" and expect to be taken seriously.

Bravo!
When I log in with my level 50s, I get a variety of invites for groups. If I'm in a group, I get tells asking if I'd quit and join them. My bubbler gets queried if she's a healer all the time and my ice blaster is assumed to be a sniper, for some reason (wasn't aware that being a sniper is critical to all blasters =0_o=).
If you're being sidekicked, do not run off to see what's ahead, out of sidekick range.
If you're sidekicking somebody, do not Super Speed off and leave your sidekick to fight a mess of suddenly-purples.
If you're having a conversation with somebody, do not leave the channel in Broadcast mode. All of Steel, Talos, PI, whereever, doesn't need to hear a one-sided chat.

HEY!
Ok nevermind, it's true =)
Do not drop your anchor debuff on the very closest bad guy and just expect him to be one of the last standing. Odds are, he was the closest to everyone else too.
Do not charge someone for a mission. At least not on the hero side. Fortune teller isn't that rare, and usually if you find a highbie who needs it, they'll tip more than you'd have charged anyway, and you don't come out smelling like the sewers.
Do not brag about how tough your Stalker is in PvP. You sneak up on people and hit them when they can't see you. It's effective, and there's nothing wrong with it, but unless you like dying a lot, your Stalker does his share of running for his life too, so don't brag about how tough he is.
Just thought I would throw this in really quick, I consider My Main Characters to be scrappers, that was meant in Jest. I know myself, and many others have a certain attitude, back in the day it was called Scrapper Arrogance, basically we could out damage any blaster, we just had to get there faster than everyone to hit first, and we can tank or at least take the agro from any mob the game offers. If someone steals our "arrest" we will simply move onto the next mob and begin to solo it. (If you need further reference look for a thread posted a while back, I think it was something like How to feed/Care for your scrapper. Great Laugh)

I thought this would make a good counterpart to the "how to tell you're in a PUG" thread, since there are no doubt many, many things that irritate us besides the assorted nitwittery of goofball teammates. I'll start with a few:
1) Begging complete strangers for influence. Just because you're a higher level passing through Atlas Park on the way somewhere, doesn't mean you're inviting a half-dozen tells begging, "plz d00d i need inf!!!!!!!111111ONEONE!"
2) Blind invites. When my team search message says, quite politely, "No blind invites; please send tell," and some gomer spams me about five blind invites in the space of thirty seconds, prompting a tell from me: "What part of NO is that difficult to understand?"
3) Spamming the broadcast channel with endless begs for powerleveling.
4) Spamming the broadcast channel with endless begs for influence.
5) Spamming the broadcast channel with endless LFT announcements. You've all seen them:
"lvl 24 troller lft"
"lvl 24 troller lft"
"lvl 24 troller lft"
"lvl 24 troller lft"
"lvl 24 troller lft"
"lvl 24 troller lft"
"lvl 24 troller lft"
"lvl 24 troller lft"
And so on, ad nauseum.
6) Spamming the broadcast channel. Say your piece once, twice tops; if nobody answers, the answer is NO.
7) /t exchanges like this, paraphrased from an actual one that happened to me a while back:
