Going by the logic that only a small number of CoH players actually post on these boards, and only a small number of those posters have gone out of their way to say "We'll pay money for x", that's what I was going from.

But thanks for being unnecessarily hostile.

Damn those dirty devs for listening to their customers and fulfilling their requests and suggestions!
Again, only some of the customers said they'd pay extra for more stuff. A small fraction.

    Don't speak for everyone, please.
  3. I thought Cyclops's eye beams came from the Fist Dimension?
  4. Staff Fighting is actually coming out after I22, much like Street Justice did with I21. Only Dark Control will be coming with I22, and that won't be 'til Spring. So I don't think we'll be seeing any new powersets for a few months. Which is cool. Focus that time on other sorts of big content.

Yes, I think the TW set should of come with a few more skin models, but the pack is still free for 2 weeks, and everyone should beable to obtain them for free, and this really only effects new accounts who start after the two week mark
Some people keep saying they'd pay extra. Not everyone.

Maybe if they busted out these skins a month later it wouldn't be so bad. But as soon as TW comes out, you have to expect some backlash. At least they saved face by making them free for a bit.
  6. Didn't we just get a big Shivan disaster that kinda reshaped all the low level content? And will more than likely provide even more content once the Praetorian storyline is over?

    Rikti Beam Rifle

Also, a bit off-topic, but would there ever be a chance of allowing us to use costume codes while walking? This has been done with pets like the German Shepherd, so I imagine it wouldn't be too much of a stretch considering costume codes are vanity as well.

    Rikti Beam Rifle

According to Paragon Wiki, that's not the case. But I'm holding out hope that's just due to someone not posting the info up yet.

    Rikti Beam Rifle

Now that Beam Rifle is a powerset, any chance of giving it the Rikti Rifle/Blaster as a weapon choice, just like you can with Robotics Masterminds?
  10. Would be neat to see civilians walking their dogs around Paragon City. Maybe have a few NPC civs playing with dogs in the various parks out there.
  11. Nice. Never knew that. The temp power nuke seems so much smaller than the massive missile we launch.

    Same.
  13. Missiles are launched out of Warburg regularly. If they explain this one, I'd like them to explain all the others, too.
  14. PM a mod about it. Let 'em know what you'd want to change your name to.

Even if not an official arc, it was a few missions that were not the same as the ones I had run with the last character (unless I chose the same origin accidentally).

I didn't intend hyperbole, just to point out the fact that I no longer have a choice of what to do from 1-5 if I want to do actual missions instead of fast-track or random stuff. As someone else mentioned above, what possible reason could there be to remove the origin missions instead of just giving the new stuff as an option?
There really was no choice. As Zombie posted, there was no actual story arc. Each of the five contacts passed out pretty much the same set of missions. "Hey, superhero, go here and fight these guys. All done? Do it again over here, now."

And there is a good reason they dropped the stuff entirely instead of keeping it in for the two players that actually would run it. The old stuff was crap in terms of storyline (there was none) and gameplay (fed ex missions and clear alls filled with the same enemy group over and over). You don't want to wave around crap to a bunch of new players and say "Hey, this is our game! Please stick around!" There's a reason why everyone starting out back in the day chose to do sewer runs and you never saw "Running Tech Origin arc. PST" over broadcast.
  16. Don't blame Freedom for people not wanting to play the Hollows or redside. They're still there, you still have the ability to do the stuff there. People just don't want to do it.

Actually I don't really think it would. We already have costume parts that are smaller than normal pieces, like the Clockwork pieces that make you really skinny in your midsection, or some of the Robot Arms. I don't think it'd be that hard to do the same for a mask that renders the whole head as just gone.

The brain in a jar is considered comic relief? If I saw that in real life, I know I wouldn't be laughing.
  20. The TFs really do need a revamp. They really suck, especially Manticore's. Hopkins? Really?

    I want a scythe!

We're getting Staff Fighting in the future. And maybe someday a scythe model will be introduced with Titan Weapons, since the animations fit with that fairly well. But a scythe powerset would be too niche and a little unnecessary.
