I just wanted to mention that it's entirely possible that there are SG's out there that are willing to coalition with younger SG's that are in need of things like porters. I have one such coalition on my oldest SG as the SG leader of the other group/solo was polite enough to ask while we were teaming and seemed to love my base layout.

Funny, I was considering creating a rather detailed 'how-to' for just this sort of thing as I've had to do it myself several times and found that there are a couple of things that none of the threads talk about (like registry related stuff to prevent redownload). I'll see if I can't make something up that's presentable, but I'm gonna have to figure out the whole pictures thing on this forum since I've never messed with it.

Can we please have it setup so that everytime a new costume set comes out in the market that it's right up front under the New section. Perhaps have some coding so that each piece gives you a link to the whole set. Heck, do that for any part-of-a-whole item(s).

Exalted Server Access requires Sub...toons stay put.

NeWay, if you've never played before, then the Easiest thing to do is follow your contacts and look for times when they have little book icons near their names inside the list as that'll tell you when you're in a linear story arc. Much of the time it's a "choose your own adventure" sort of game, but it is possible to outlevel arcs so be careful if you're really wanting to go for story.

Well first there was 6-slotting and then I came back from 9mo of "saving money by not playing" and everyone told me to reroll things with 3 slots. Freedom and the expiration of my sub soon has me considering my choices as post i19 ("my coming out of game retirement") it has been basic IO's in stages.

The 'extra' tokens you get were likely intended to be used for the T9-VIP slots at first and then they realized that they should have something consumable, hense the normal T9 slots that you can buy over and over again.

Agreed, they were more than likely talking about Character name changes as you can purchase those (I'm pretty sure they can be as a token?). Monthly, VIP's get a server/character transfer token as well if they were utterly confused. I didn't know about the GR or Merger renames, but I was aware of the onetime global rename from waaaaaaaaay before I left last in i13. Now a days it seems like everybody that returns to the game is changing their global right after logging in for the first time. Makes remembering those early team mates almost impossible anymore.

If you managed a L50 toon on that account Before you went Preem, then that's why you have Epics unlocked.

Edit: or did they change that to a lower level? either way if you had a max level toon, then they're unlocked.

Since it's been asked before, do you have your virtual memory set for atleast 6Gb? If you've never changed it or have no idea what that means, then the answer is yes and that's not the issue. If you Do know what that means and for some reason Do have it set below that, then make it the recomended size or greater and that Might be the problem.

Beyond that, kill anything you don't need while playing the game.

I did something similar to dad's tower when id died. I took what I had and found a board on NewEgg that was AGP based, but still upto par with current gen systems. Granted, I did end up buying the main core components (CPU/RAM/MOBO) as I was doing a true upgrade, but check it out none the less.

Either way (if you're only looking to replace the board) you need find out what chipset is/are that'll work with the components. I recall something about the 775 (intel ver) chipset when I was doing research on his components, but it's been so long. I'm sure there's going to be tons of "just go buy a new rig/GPU/etc", but sometimes you just wanna go simple. Why don't you give a list of exactly what you Have from the old system along with any specs (DDR2 RAM, AGP 1/2/3/...etc). Exact numbers will be Very important.

It's not really clear What exactly your issue was besides not getting candy canes, but being a subscriber how would you feel if portions of your sub had to goto helping the freebs? While I'd love for everyone to be treated like the VIP's we are nomatter the status, but the CS is a benefit provided by the consistent amount of money spent on the subs.

I don't mean to be cruel, but you could liken it to this: How do you think some people feel about our hard earned taxes going to pay people who won't get off their butt and find a job (when they are actually in a position to get one), but instead decide it's better to sit on welfare?

I really do feel for you and it'd be great for everyone to get equal support, but that thing you click that says 'I Agree' (granted most of us just click the button blindly) more than likely lays down the ground rules for what to expect. If it's not clear enough, then I'm sure somebody has made a wiki/thread that sums it up in non-legal wording. F2P seems to be the way things are going in the MMO world so Rage-Quitting to another game will likely put you in the same boat if it urks you That much.
