Ah, that makes sense. I haven't seen it since I last worked on Kodak Picture Makers at work (because I could and 3rd party techs tend to screw it up worse).
  2. Your wireless signal bar looks kinda weak, how far away are you? Perhaps there's some packets getting dropped.

Several alts used the power, then I logged out last night. Today, when I logged in, the power was still "recharging" and showed as though I had just used it. Sure enough, about 27 minutes later, it finally recharged and was available for use again.
Yeah, it's been taking forever to recharge.
  4. When looking for it, I found the HiJackThis to be moved here.

If you haven't already, download the exe file directly from the Titan/Mids site. I normally take it directly from the forum link provided.

  8. One of two things, whichever is cheaper:
    1) If you're within one slot of unlocking MMs, then spend the money on points to trigger the unlock (1200?);
    2) If the store unlock is less than 1200, then make sure you have enough points (or buy more) and get it.

If money's an issue, then you'll have to just wait it out until that money tree blooms again.

It really helped me get rid of frustrations and just mindlessly beat things up without having to pay much attention to health or endurance.
+1 to this as "Laid Back" and "Mind Numbingly Relaxed" can be two different beasts. When I have a slight headache, am tired, or just generally want to do something without doing all the target+attack stuff, then I grab the nearest "Na-na you can't hit me" Scrap/Tank/Brute and go beat stuff senseless.

Even IE has had similar memory leaks, but I normally had to go as far as closing the entire browser window (not just tabs) as it would hold onto every ounce of memory it could until I killed it entirely. It's rare anymore and seems to be mostly related to what I call "active" pages in which content is constantly updated in realtime.
  11. Give the HiJack This report and such that everyone else is asking for, but go ahead and checkout my links below on installation as it may be of some help and/or even avoid the permissions issue.

Edit: Just curious, what's with all the disc/media drives and virtual drives?

I'll have to say that this is exactly what my laptop does (nVidia GeForce Go 7600) when I do something silly like run two instances on anything other than safe mode. I've figured out that (for my aging system atleast) this is simply the result of pushing the GPU beyond its capacity. I think it has something to do with the limited 256Mb of VRAM as a slightly newer model laptop with a slightly newer GPU (and 256Mb + 1.75Gb shared?) could run things at the compatibility level.

Both setups worked fine with one instance, but the moment the second instance loaded fully I got black screen on both. At first I thought this was a heating issue (being nVidia and in a laptop), but my numbers are within the safe zone. Long story short, I'd drop the settings to basic and tweak until you get to where the system doesn't throw a fit.

List your COH Helper/HiJack This files and I'm sure that Tex will show his mug soon enough. ;-)

Funny, I would have said the same thing considering nVidia just seems to make better cards than ATI anymore. Keep the bloody thing cool as can be and it'll do well. I used to use ATI cards a long while back, but unless I wanted a multi-function All-in-one Radeon series, then I'd go nVidia.

Sure, but then I'd lose my rank (easily fixed), prestige earned stats (not fixable?), and group joining stat (not adjustable, tested ages ago).

Many of the F2P posts I read were bringing up said 'predictions' because other MMOs were starting (what seems to have turned into a trend) to do so at the time of writing.

    Comically to the point!
  17. Seems like the server thing was kinda sudden and unplanned as there are other threads talking about it...

That said, I've had a similar issue to where I've had my group in mid wallup and all of a sudden the GM dies, but no rewards. Come to find out the timer (they're only up for a certain amount of time I guess) had dinged server side and the spawn reset. I forget how long before we found the next spawn, but it was rather annoyingly inconvenient.

I don't see where you've posted the results of your petitions (if any), but I'm sure they have to keep things fair across the board. IE: respawning has the chance to mislead some into thinking that the Devs will respawn at-will. This would have been nice in my example, but unless we're sitting in the decision chair, then we'll never know.

I couldn't tell if you meant I beat em to it or the other way around (the more likely).

Also, the i22 ingame maps are also available now on the other site. :-p
  19. Have you tried getting into the game again yet? I'd check with your NCSoft master account and see if you show up there as preem. Preems can go just about everywhere VIPs can right? Either way the forum thing should be resolved with the Contact Us link you found.

Right now the Clockwork graveyard in Kings Row (the place where all the Paladins end up after spawning) is such a place due to the bug causing them to endlessly spawn sprockets.
So you think this is actually just random or truely related to new content?

    Unable to load

On almost every patch I get this happening because my security software has detected a significant change in the file. Normally I alt-tab to the security popup, click safe, alt-tab back, and I'm fine. See if you can find a way to whitelist the directory/file.

    Videomap pack

Try simply deleting the download file (the EXE file for the maps) if you haven't already. Maybe it sees that and thinks it's bad juju.

I was just about to mention this as now I'm in the reverse situation of the OP. Since stuff is available in the base (and at some point in time or two I've gotten click happy) I now have a ton of stuff sitting in my personal base item submissions thingy. I think one toon has something like 3 copies of each poster because I clicked a few too many times on the reusable VR reward for them.
  25. In the early stages of my altitis I started a notebook that held my builds and I'd put a tray location next to each power.

    IE:
15 == Tray 1, Slot 5 (noting that the slots go from 0-9)
