Vet Power: Inner Inspiration: Not Recharging Properly
Someone in one of my global channels was mentioning the same thing last night.

Mine is not charging while I'm logged out, and now seems to be stuck. It doesn't say that it's still recharging when I click on it or activate it with a slash command. I removed it from my tray and put it back and still nothing.
It appears to be a new invisible and undocumented self-debuff that was added to Inner Inspiration but not given a patch note.
The debuff prevents you from using Inner Inspiration and only waiting around in-game will cause the debuff to expire. Trying to activate the power while under the debuff will give no error message, so players have no way of knowing the power isn't somehow permanently broken, or something else is wrong.
Not sure why the devs felt the need to introduce another confusing recharge mechanic just for this power, anyway. Tier 2 inspirations are fun but worthless; tier 3's are only somewhat better. Though there are ways to force faster Inner Inspiration recharges, there are still considerable limits on how fast; build swaps have 15 minute cooldowns, for example. And most of the players being impacted by the change weren't doing anything like that, anyway, just using it before they logged out and expecting it to be recharged by the next day.
Partial workaround: If you're accustomed to popping Inner Inspiration before the end of a day's play session, instead of logging out immediately, let yourself time out from inactivity. This will reduce the duration of the debuff a bit so that it's not quite as bad when you log back in the next day.
Suggested fix: Have the debuff expire in 30 minutes real time instead of in-game time. Or roll back this change and keep recharge mechanics simple and unconfusing.
Ultimately, without some kind of fix, I have a feeling this power might be leaving a few players' trays just from the annoyance added in this patch.
If that blocking power is using in-game time, that's just flat out broken. That needs to be changed to real time, just like power recharge.

How could Inner Inspiration be abusable? I just can't fathom there is enough benefit for the effort required.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
So that's what happened. I thought it was greyed out for some reason in DA.
total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
I had this happen to me earlier as well.
Was grayed-out upon logging into the game and would not change status. I tried zoning and that did not help reset Inner Inspiration. The power immediately reset when I went to the options menu under miscellaneous options and set my power trays to unlocked and then back to locked again.
Before Issue 22's patch, this power would recharge in 30 minutes of real time from the time it was last used.
Currently, it is not recharging reliably within 30 minutes while logged in. It is also not recharging at all while logged out. Several alts used the power, then I logged out last night. Today, when I logged in, the power was still "recharging" and showed as though I had just used it. Sure enough, about 27 minutes later, it finally recharged and was available for use again. |

Such a change makes no sense to me. It's not as if inspirations don't already drop like snowflakes in a blizzard.

I just had this problem as well - I logged in on a character who had logged off with Inner Inspiration *recharged* and it was greyed out. After about 4 minutes, it spontaneously acted like it had just recharged. This is fairly bizarre, considered that I had not used it AT ALL on the character last time I was logged in on her.

Like I said here, I don't think that this is some secret conspiracy theory mechanic, added to suppress the evil desires of people who wanted to "exploit" (read as 'Using the power as advertised') getting 3 mediocre inspirational boosts every 30 minutes. I think they broke the power and it's bugged.
If it does turn out to be a stealth nerf, then I want my token back. I didn't spend $15 on 1200 PPs to unlock a, now craptacularly useless, power.
My gametime comes in short bursts lately. 30 minutes here, 15 minutes there. With the recharge not counting while I'm logged out like it's supposed to, I haven't been able to even use the damn power in many of my gaming sessions.

I linked to the details of that power a few posts down from your post you linked to here.
That seems awfully explicit to be considered a bug.

It might could be a bug if it was meant to be real time rather than game time.
That's not as pointless as it may seem; a lock marker autopower that expires in real time would still prevent the abuse of either switching builds or logging out for 15 minutes, both of which recharge all your powers.

I noticed that the Inner Inspiration power has not been recharging the way it did before i22. I also noticed that it never recharges when I log out, then later log back in. I have over 50 characters and have checked this out on about 20 of them. All the same, and not to my liking. Disappointed with this. It's a major source of help, especially when I solo.
...And another thing: Why the **** are they "fixing" something that wasn't broken? There are way too many other items that genuinely need a fix! As a nearly 8 year solid player, I am way disappointed and even angered that a so-called reward now carries an innate, and as mention, undocumented debuff on the player who is able to claim it through sheer length of time as a subscriber to the game.
lol theres a particular AV in this game that I can kill in one hit and I bugged it months ago. That still isn't fixed, but they are worried about me using inner inspiration on more than 1 character per day? freakin lol
