Oh god, that's about the most useless feature windows ever had for the mouse. On older systems it was actually possible to have a ghost image of the cursor across the entire screen if your GPU was slow enough.

This thread hasn't been locked/deleted yet? There must Really be some Magic going on here. ;-)

Quote:That's basically what I have, but this one even has a builtin cup holder :-pThat sounds familiar! My "as seen on TV" folding table doesn't have a built-in fan, but my laptop runs amazingly cool so I don't really need it.
I move between the floor in front of the couch and sitting on the couch. I get uncomfortable easily due to back and leg pain so I'm changing position a LOT, so getting the laptop and setting up the "hub" was a god-send.
I've tried using it while sitting on my tempurpedic, but it's too easy for the top-heavy laptop to attempt a swan-dive. -
Try logging all the way out and see if it doesn't sort itself out. Sometimes I had to wait a little bit before trying again. Normally I only run into this on edit binges or large value purchase/delete sessions.

If the room has atleast 4~5(?) squares on one side, then you can goto the door option in the create room function and selectively create doors so long as the area turns blue and doesn't have anything on the walls preventing it.

Not to sound silly, but is the install disk custom/legal/etc? When doing a fresh install in XP and you're not using a service pack 3 based disc, then it's possible that you may have to watch your windows updates as there's a known issue that crops up now and then that prevents update from functioning properly. If you're updating via wireless, then it's possible you're getting corrupted/missing packets during the download.

Wow, that's an ooooold issue if this is the case. What came to mind for me as an "off-chance" sorta thing was whether you had the setting in control panels that says something like "hide cursor while typing", but I really think that Kitsune's idea is more plausible.

HiJackThis
CoH Helper can't get my DxDiag so here is the DxDiag itself. -
Quote:No, right now this thread sounds exactly like this.Right now this thread sort of reads like "my car is making a funny noise."

Whether you decide not to provide the info to us here or directly in a support ticket, the results will be the same. What's posted by the applications greatly increases the chances that a stab in the dark comes significantly closer to aiming for the heart of the issue. If you read the related threads on how/what to post, then you will find that there's nothing necessarily "identifying" about it and if you're Really concerned, then read through them and edit out what you're concerned someone might use. I seriously don't know how they could use any of it, but still.

Ewwww, Zwill...Aggy's Necro'ing all over the thread again... j/k :-p

I wonder whatever happened to the idea of creating an ingame application process for SGs? For a refresher, a toon would goto the SG registrar, find a group/groups that look appealing, click a button that says something like "Apply for Group Membership", fill out the SuperLeader's application (or some templated form that most people find workable), click submit, wait for ingame email reply.

I wasn't entirely surprised when I read about that myself as it truely makes sense. They're trying to build up content Gold side to the point that they can bring it up to par content wise (level I mean) so that they can finish what they started. Atleast, that's what I gathered out of this and other discussions/speculations over the past year or so.

Quote:I believe it was Zwill that mentioned the devs wanting to avoid alot of ATs in a row as to "balance" releases so that's why we got furries last time instead. It was also requested in the same thread that players get some sort of calendaresque type heads up.You're incorrect...
First, they said it was coming in April. Then, on April 10th, they said it was coming on the 17th.
Dismiss whatever you wish, but your original post is incorrect.
Honest question: Was I reading your post incorrectly or were you implying/thinking that the forum outrage/impatience influenced Paragon Studios to deliver Staff Fighting earlier than they had planned?
Also, no big deal. We all make mistakes.
Why Yes, I did simply post based on a single thread response Before reading the remainder...ur point? :-p -
Not a quote, but unless they plan on completely reworking the six tokens in the Paragon Rewards list to accomidate 3 more, then the recent official information page on i23 that included the Mecha set should be clear enough of a warning.

Quote:Well, short of a fresh system install, I'd checkout what available troubleshooting is on M$FT's sight. Normally I'd just wipe/redo, but I've been told that I must enjoy torture as a side job or something.at this point, I have tried to create a system restore disk from my laptop, uninstalled and reinstalled .net 4....installed .net 1.1 ...found .net 2.0 refused to install for unknown reasons...followed the instructions on the support list...did a game adviser report, sent it to support....only got back a survey request wondering how I felt about the way support had (not) handled my issue....said survey is probably the first support survey I`ve sent to CoH that was bad

Quote:That's alright, so far my brain can't decide whether I'm reading Panda or Pedo atm...but the tummy's pretty sure I'm hungry! ^.^Makes me glad I never considered playing another game.
Since this pando (I thought it was a thread about Pandas at first) thing is only active while downloading a new patch or a fresh install - and I'm guessing faster - other than my initial distrust and loathing of anything new, I don't see it as that big of a deal.
But - I am not at all typical, nor am I savvy about all the evils of the internet.
That bit about Adobe that Arcanaville mentioned - I'd not heard that. Good thing I don't keep banking records on my computer.
Personally, I think they (CoH) should leave well enough alone. The Launcher seems to work just fine. It's not broken, why fix it? -
There's one thing to remember though, (taking into account all the groups that pretty much went inactive) the list is ranked strictly by prestige earned. Groups/Bases were Very active at first and for a while they were grinding prestige left and right for badges n stuff. Some even did it intentionally to be number one I'd imagine. You could realistically have a list of Inactive groups that gathered massive amounts of prestige to the point that smaller/newer groups just simply couldn't come close to being high enough to make it on the list.
The group I created has been around since atleast i2-i3 (whenever the SG's/Bases were introduced), but since we've been a VERY casual player group there's no chance for us to ever be on the list. Honestly, since we've got more than enough prestige for rent (until the end of time) and I'll get back to group badges at a later time, I don't even require them to be in SG mode as it helps their alts gather inf easier. -

Quote:From the looks of it, so long as her environment is cool enough, then her THO will be perma and the risk of falling out is eliminated.Does the fact that her jubblies are almost completely out of her top have anything to do with that?
Because, to me, that is a reason NEVER to see the outfit in this game.
Who is that BTW because her face looks exactly like the avatar headshot I chose for my PSN acct.
