  2. Ok I keep seeing in other threads outside of the group forum that TW/Fire out damages SS/Fire/Soul. Can anyone fill me in on this as I have a few questions:

    1) Is this just in a pylon test or are outside buffs being used?

    2) Is TW using Burn and Gloom in the attack chain?

    3) What is the attack chain people are using to do this? Go full on purples, billions of influence, etc. Note: I don't want to see a build, just an attack chain assuming the latter are being used.

    4) If TW/Fire/?? (Soul?) is out damaging SS when factoring in double rage and such, how far ahead is it when at the brute damage cap?

  4. Wow this power is like night and day good... curious how it should be slotted? Procs? Achilles Heel proc? Damage procs?

    Ok so if I create a creeper pet in Spawn (1) and then finish off the spawn and go to Spawn (2) and stand at range blasting at 80 feet it wouldn't make a difference if I was in melee?
  6. Well I am getting nearly 50 k a cast with Vigor T3 (45% more healing) and a T4 radial +HP. Here is a screenshot... I positioned myself to hit nearly all the mobs. You can see the green rings meaning they are buffed by me.

  7. Well I am about 3 million from the final damage badge then I am going to do this. I should have enough for the T4 Vigor but we will see.

    Curious how long it will take to farm this in Mercy?
  8. I also have a question about Carrion Creepers, I know it summons an invisible psuedo pet which makes the vines. To spawn the most vines, your character *cannot* be at range but must be in melee correct?
  9. 1) Does the target have to be held by the single target hold for it to work or just effected?

    2) To clarify, it only works off the hold correct?

    3) Does Wormhole or the AOE hold allow impact to occur?
  10. Got my shield Scrapper to 28 and looking at this power. From what I am understanding, you the person with the power gets the DDR and Slow resistance correct? Is it worth taking for that alone? I don't team a whole lot on that character.

    is it just me?

    Back in Sept 2011 (Last year) I was crashing all the time too. I eventually figured out what it was that I was using Windows Vista 32-Bit (Which limits the amount of Ram being used) -- I upgraded to windows 7 64 bit and gave my cpu even more ram (I now have 8 gig).

    My crashing problems stopped.

    Its most likely your ram.
  12. Would this be any good? I know the big demon tends to burn endurance fairly fast. Since its an AOE power though would the proc rate be extremely low?

    Or would it be better just slotting it in health for my MM ?

    Wow I just scouted that area out... genius. I don't think I've ever heard of that... you could get that badge in less then 4 hours.
  14. Hmm thats too bad, I wonder why they did that? Every other power is modified by alpha with the exception of recharge time.

    Is Absorb Live?

    Actually this is straight from a Developer's PM on exactly what the defense pop ups mean:

    Dodged = The attack missed because you dodged it.
    Deflected = The attack landed but harmlessly bounced off.
    Avoided = The altered environment caused you to miss.
    Absorbed = The damage was healed as soon as it landed -- effectively, infinite regen.

    Moment of Glory is the in game equivalent of infinite regeneration. Attacks are suppose to be landing but are healed immediately.
  16. Can alphas boost this? I know Alpha can boost every Destiny just about (IE any alpha with a Heal effects Rebirth, resistance effects barrier, defense effects barrier, etc).

    Specifically, the alpha gives resistance to a lot of different debuff effects like Defense Debuff. So would having a defense alpha buff the debuff resistance? Has anyone tested this?

    Well its 30 seconds of DDR immunity followed by another 90 of about 50% DDR. Not to mention it provides slow and rech res. Basically if cascade failure hits pop it; those debuffs will soon fall off. Its better then barrier in a lot of cases.

    If you plan to Incarnate, I know most people do Barrier but Ageless can give you DDR immunity and very high DDR for the remaining time.

  19. For a Brute and T4 +HP Rebirth where should you farm this badge? I am on a crowded server so I could park near Ms Liberty. I also hear the wall in Cim is good too.

    Does the T4 heal alpha help with this too? Would it give more hp? A 45% boost could cut the time nearly 25%.
  20. I just need my Triple Threat badge. I have not tried in a few weeks on my main been Day Job / Damage Farming... Almost got that last damage badge. Then I need to do heal badges.

    I almost got all the badges in the game.

    Interesting that that change was in the same patch as the change to Acrobatics. I never even considered it before, but I wonder if the two changes were in any way related to each other...
    Wow I never realized they removed the KB from Powerboost... it used to be the Dominator secondaries that got Powerboost was because it enhanced the secondary effects. IE energy had knockbacks (Granted two attacks have stun still.)

    I also thought it effected slows but it doesn't show it on City of Data. The funny thing is, the description for Powerboost still includes KB I believe.

    I don't know... CJ + SJ are both decent powers. By obtaining Acrobatics you could get the equal of two slots for one power selection and you get the bonus of hold resistance and 2 extra hold protection.
