Funnily enough with Noble Savage who's name is now just gold instead of red.

Yeah, the EU/NA was part of the remaining divide with the account 'location' on the billing system since the MCSoft accounts still think it's either NA or EU.

I can see how these help new players, but, good god, as a 7 year vet, I don't need to waste time on every damn new character I make for a fedex run with no rewards that's required to get further missions from that contact. I suggested perhaps using the new contact popup to introduce these folks instead.
Y'know what irks me? This could've been a better question to answer than the TWO questions about ANCILLARY/PATRON/POOL POWER CUSTOMISATION. I'm surprised no-one asked a bases question to complete the 'easy-answer' ones. And there was the token issue release date question and one about the Mac launcher which thankfully had a second part to it.

They really need to start these with:
    Issue XX soon
Bases are being given limited attention due to the undocumated system mechanics
Pool/ancillary/patron customisation is not on the cards yet

.... and then add to the list with questions that amount to 'make a thread in suggestions'.

But beyond that, honestly? I never want to see solo-ONLY content. I'd much prefer to be able to start (and fail) everything by myself than EVER force anyone to solo that doesn't wish to do so.
Yeah, I'd love it in limited doses like for the Praetorian Moral Choices since the actions inside determine the alignment change rather than the handy table at the end of Morality Missions but not any great degree.

Now Solo-friendly content is another matter. I'd love a few more solo-friendly bits here and there. There's those new story missions in the DA content where we get to see a little of their lives outside being the mission-giver. Those are a nice addition. Not for everyone/everything but occasionally, just for a little extra spice.

That final encounter with Dr Vahzilok is still awesome.

Something I have noticed though, is that the Contact Finder we now have only seems to point you to Wincott, Faultline or Montague Castenella under level 20 which maybe why some of these arcs get ignored. It seems odd, but it's almost as if the designers of the tool were trying to steer people away from older arcs (Hollows excepted) and towards newer content. Is that just me being all cynical and grumpy though?
No, it just doesn't work right. After finishing the entire Atlas chain (not the extended tutorial) I got redirected to the first guy again (and Wincott and Montague were the other two).

On topic: I did take my time/beamer through the Hollows stuff and I felt the tinge of nostalgia. It was nice to take a timeout from the world-ending stuff and go back to a save the city deal, even a small, broken-up bit.

But then Hollows, Croatoa and even Striga had some nice self-contained story arcs. No traversing the entire city and back again just to fedex something to someone only to have to go right back to where you started or worse. Same kind of progression that's in the new DA. Nice and self-contained arcs with little BS timesink stuff.

Are the other arcs (loyalist, crusader, etc) as enjoyable? (Please don't spoil them, the only spoilers here should be Warden Spoilers!)

So.. yeah. General discussion Praetoria go.
Yes particularly if you start on the other side first and make a switch to do undercover work for your native side. Then you can get all the extra dialogue from your starting allegiance contact. There's a couple of dialogue changes for making various switches around Praetoria.

I also ran all the content on one character just to see how things changed. There's a good dialogue option change if you do the Nova Crusader line and then pick loyalist for the moral choice

From what I can surmise: it's the difference between the early Borg in Next Generation "You will be assimilated" no negotiation, no exceptions and the Voyager Borg with the Queen and her yuri-like crush on Seven of Nine as well as the ships getting blown up every other episode they showed up in. Sure they were more visually impressive as the post-movie upgrade but something was lost; terror.

They were no longer a force to be avoided. Instead they became the technological buffet car that got ransacked whenever they decided "we need an upgrade that the Borg have". I know it was because the series would be over in one episode if the Borg acted like the Borg of old but there could've been a better way of getting round it.

That and the Well is just a bad plot device to justify Incarnate powers being for everyone.

Icons in the power tray are Staff Fighting moves and that's Magic Fortune's new icon artwork (with Secondary Mutation recharging), So that also means buying Super Insps for the princely sum of 1inf.

I'm wondering if this will be a lead-in to try and get that elusive 5th season they're apparently still after.

Few animated shorts to get the fans clamouring, to get potential new ones interested and then bam: season 5.

By some small miracle I had some spare time in my schedule in this milestone. So rather than spend the day twiddling my thumbs, I have ported the following Costume Pieces over to female:

    Misc Jackets
    • Baron Jacket
    • Baron Jacket with Vest
    • Steampunk Jacket
    Gunslinger

      • Leather

      • Plain
      • Leather
    • Boots with spur
    • Boots without spur
    • Hip belt without bullets (Mainly for Jackets)

Unfortunately we were not able to port over the Gunslinger shirt to female due to various clipping issues.

These updates can be expected with the upcoming launch of Issue 22! I hope you all enjoy the pieces we had time to port over!

And I just bought the gunslinger pack too.

They were removed for the very example you are suggesting; everyone who wanted the badges was farming the AE rather than playing for the stories. Although; if they brought them back for 1 ticket each that would certainly reduce the farming 'need'. Payoff could remain the same for being the payoff badge (Description: I traded 1000 tickets and all I got was this lousy badge ).

The problem with that seems to be the badge tech itself. Accolades only appear able to take one set of requirements to unlock.

A limited amount of new with-power accolades could be added but they'd have to be worth the effort/not too farmy and balanced against the existing ones.

There's already a lot of unpowered accolades that get added with each issue like Master Of Badges and even i22 has two more with the Zone and content accolades.

That would be a good idea. It would be nice if it was like the vanguard tables which can display unlockable weapon recipes for the correct toons. Adding to the collect menu all the unlockable weapons and costume details would be nice, especially if they give the info for them eg. Rularuu weaponary: obtain the Overseer badge by defeating 100 Rularuu Overseer bosses

Vidiotmaps already has a map pack for in-game locations as well as the city maps and paragonwiki.com has images for each location. Nice if it was integrated but I think the devs prefer people to explore.

Yeah, don't see why it couldn't be reward merits like the exploration accolades for a first-time shot.

There's also the other method: Morgan Freeman.

He played 'God' in Bruce Almighty. At the end he's also revealed to be the homeless man with the placard. He was there the whole time. He only shows off his abilities at first when Bruce tries to trick him with the seven fingers. And throughout the movie; all his powers tend to be passive whereas Bruce abuses the hell of them (no pun intended) and Bruce ends up coming the worse-off as all his efforts to be Mr. Exclusive only start piling up as he ends up making them worse until he finds the prayer from his love and realises there's a karmic balance to the use of powers. Once he stops using them he realises that doing things for yourself and others

I actually have a fairy who literally "godmods" that way but she shares the karmic balance angle; she's a fairy of good fortune. If she does too many good things, it piles up and then something really bad happens. She builds up her good Karma slowly and then lets it out in a gentle flow rather than a raging torrent. The balance is what keeps her in check.

If they let 50s in then yes they should. The Praetorian trials should've been base 54 and then as the next major foe shows up; introduce the NPC shifts otherwise when we do have the next 'world-ending' foe; there won't be any challenge left besides how much boredom we can overcome.

There certainly shouldn't be the copious amounts of shifts right now just because we have powers that apparently help us steamroll the NPCs. We should be the powerful ones like in the new DA content (that's another reason I like it so much), we should be creaming the Praetorians by now but instead they're "empowered" so we end up being the whipping boys again.

But then I no longer do the trials.

As said: all the non-Incarnate task in City drops shards and this was expanded to include exemping for tasks. So everything that you can do as a 1-49 can contribute to your Alpha stockpile or they can be converted at a 10:10 ratio plus inf every 20 hours for more threads or a 10:5 ratio cost-free for as long as you have multiples of 10.

For me: shards are a steadier way to gain the Alpha. Shard runs of TFs tend to net you 3-5 shards which is enough for one component you want and if you do one of the big 4s a component you might need. For the big 4s; you will get a common component (other 2 being the CoP and the Gr'ai Matter which is a VG merits purchase), doing a WTF will net you a Notice which means in 4 weeks you will have all the rare parts needed to make a T4 Alpha, guaranteed.

It should also be noted that the Incarnate shifts do work in new Dark Astoria both in-zone and in-mission so threading up the other shifting abilities would be a better option given they only have thread recipes to make them. Shards save having to build your alpha with threads allowing you to get the other powers first.
