  1. Here's what I've got for my Ice/Time, and she's pretty amazingly indestructible about 99% of the time. On the last keyes I did I was one of the people assigned to sit in the bunker and keep the warworks busy so that people grabbing power cells wouldn't be interrupted by getting hit. I sat in that bunker fighting constantly from start of tower till it was shut down, on my own, and never died. Oh, and once I get Apocalypse and Ragnarok for my two purple sets I'll have perma-Chronoshift.

    P.S. My personal preference for Destiny is the radial Clarion line. Power Boost -> Radial Clarion -> Farsight = near/over incarnate cap defense, and you also have your -tohit aura to help as a debuff buffer.

  2. Hello everyone. I'm really hoping for some insight into how to squeeze that last few percent of success out of my build. I didn't have any feedback the last time I posted, so I was kinda flailing about in the dark to even come up with this revision, so please, help a lady out. Right now I'm softcapped to M/R/AOE with my protbots shield, drones and assault are at I think 51% M/R/AOE with prot shields, and the protbots themselves are at like 38% M/R/AOE. 45% global recharge, lots of nasty procs in things. I'm not really sure WHAT I'm looking for to improve it, other than probably recharge. I've got enough defense to be happily over the softcap, even if I don't have that much of a buffer against debuffs, I'm still happy where I am there. I'd always be happy with more recharge in the build, though. With that said, yes I do hover, and without too much trouble putting down traps since I've gotten used to skimming the ground for that. Also, I don't really want to change which pools I have beyond Mu. I'd be willing to sacrifice that one if it would help me improve overall. Any suggestions to squeeze out a bit more performance would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I tried putting this in the builds workshop section. I got told to put it here for better feedback.

  5. Set bonuses have no effect on your pets, Soulbound's build up proc effects the pet it's slotted in and has a chance to go off every time the pet attacks and can even doublestack, though rarely. Fire Control in Enforcers will give each enforcer a chance for a build-up effect every 10 seconds, since the power it's effecting is a toggle (the enforcer's Tactics)

  7. Hello all, just wanting to get a critique on my bots/traps MM. She's intended to do just about anything the archetype is capable of, up to and including soloing AVs and GMs, with the one caveat that for her RP concept she has no personal "attacks" beyond her trap powers. Judgement is the sole exception, and electric fences is currently there pretty much as a set mule for that bit of extra defense. I do not yet have the PVP IO for the +3% defense, so that slot is an extra Heal in aid self, but other than that the build is currently fully funded.

  8. Hello all. Since the server are down I thought I might try getting some advice on my StJ/Dark build. I know that the attacks may be less than totally efficient in their slotting from having the KC knockdown proc in them, but I want the character to have a chance to knockdown with all of her attacks (minus Sweeping Cross, as I can only get knockBACK in that). This is my first time playing a resistance based powerset, so I'd love some feedback.

  12. Disintegration itself does not have a chance to spread the status effect if used on a disintegrating target despite the fact that it is a single target Beam Rifle attack power.
  13. That's a good point. Disintegrate IS a single target attack, it should qualify for causing spread.
  14. Power Mastery for PBU is the best option in my opinion. PBU'd farsight and chrono shift are delicious. You're probably getting nearly as much defense from PBUing farsight as you would from taking scorpion shield
  15. I think that the little boosts in the rate from the original values were most definitely needed, but I feel something is still missing. To complement BR's focus on single targets, I believe that Disintegration should at minimum have a chance, though preferably a 100% chance, of spreading when the disintegrating target is defeated. That would allow the beamer to disintegrate a target and get a spread off of them, even if it necessitates going all the way to killing it because they aren't getting any lucky rolls on their ST attacks.

    Right answer, wrong question. Yes, every attack a pet makes has a chance to proc interface. The interface incarnate powers are basically an invisible proc IO that automatically goes into any power capable of slotting a damage common IO. If you can enhance the damage of a power, it will trigger interface, and that includes every attack a pet throws out.

Hello all, I'm VERY new to brute-ing, and since I've got a couple of softcapped tankmages (one in the works, one already finished), I decided to try a resistance based set, in this case starting up an Elec/Elec brute. The only problem is, I have absolutely no clue what I should be looking for in set bonuses or power pools, since there's no way in hell I'll be softcapping a resistance based set without popping purples. Please, throw me some advice on good slotting/set goals for resistance based secondaries.
