    That would be a wonderful idea except for the fact that there will be other Trials that give APsi iXP, I guarantee it. And in that case, it would be lame to require a badge for a Trial you technically won't have to do to unlock it.

    According to Prometheus every species has it's own 'well' and each is perceived by the species differently. Ours is a Well, and the Kheld's was a ball of light.

    I see how that would make sense. Personally, I prefer to think of the well in the metaphorical sense, so mayhap I got that intertwined someplace.

    Also, I agree with everything Chad just said... essentially he said a few things I meant much better also.

    Well, Tuesday late night isn't exactly prime posting time... not to mention the TL;DR factor some might have.

    At any rate, I think the bones of the story are good... but I question the fact that you refer to the Well as an actual well. Further, your backstory might be subject to retcon as we learn more of the Well, Pandora's Box and Battalion.

    Buuuut... my only suggestion would be to distance yourself a bit more from the Lore and definitely have the sword NOT called Excalibur. I think that thrusts your character too much toward Earth Lore. Really go out on a limb and explore the culture/race you are dealing with. Flavorful names and Myth will help you to do that.

    I don't have any "toons," but my favorite character is my Grav/FF Troller, Pointsphere.

    While he isn't the most powerful character ever, he is litterally the first character I ever made for this game. He is my badging character and one of the few that I have IOed! I do every piece of new content with him and really enjoy how welll I have gotten to know his strengths and weaknesses on him.

    I am in the process of bringing him heroside again to grab some of the newer Hero-only badges.

    So... the plain wood, plain metal and wrapped staffs can't be used by characters with a magical origin?

    (Don't get me wrong, more options are usually good... but your premise seems an odd one to me.)

    As a power like the Rocket Board? I guess I can see that happening.

    However, I wouldn't actuallly support this unless there is a way to prevent this from being used on water and inside indoor missions (too many illogical terrains in instances).

    Also, as a reminder to the OP, making petitions is against the forum rules... and that seems to be how the first post is worded.

    I I think its crap that you can't get the badge! I am certain that other people have been awarded badges in similar situations.

    However, it is against forum rules to post coversations you have with support. I would hate for you to get modsmacked over this to add insult to injury.

    I haven't read all the posts in the thread, but one stated that you should Hosp immediately. This runs contrary to the impression I was under based on a recent Dev diary-type article on Massively. Since Tyrant is empowered via Tartarus during the final battle he essentially controls your Soul. This is why you have to fight your way out of the hosp.

    Mechanically, once Tyrant is below 50% the amount of Favor gives him +Regen. His Favor is buffed by those folks who choose to Hosp. So, a far better way than rushing to Hosp, would be to have a couple folks with Barrier or Howling Twilight rezzing people so they can avoid buffing Favor by using the Hosp.

    Delete Powersets?? Are you crazy? Also, what kind of new damage type could you possibly think the game needs after nearly 8 Years with the ones we have now?

    Personally, I think it should be added to Force Field, being a one trick pony (+Def) is less than useful in a world where Destiny powers can give anyone amazing defenses and many folks in iTrials have IOs out the yin-yang!

    This is pretty much exactly how I play. I rarely use the mouse except to place Location AoE type powers or Teleport.

    Until and unless the APB (alternate power bar) is given a way to be used by the keyboard AND customizable in terms of where a power ends up in it... the whole thing is functionally useless to me (unless like on the Tyrant mission my regular trays go away).

    They've already started a similar dating idea with the new Belladonna arc, which tells players right at the sart that it takes place after the events in DA and the DD Trial.

    With regards to Monsters... there was an excellent suggestion a few years back for a Mad Science-styled set of Abomination pets. It was pretty sweet. I think it is in the old Lady Jade power suggestion thread somewhere.

    For what it's worth, there seem to be several minor things like this that have been... turned back in time from the patch that was most recently on Beta.

    Hopefully the middle of the road sounds from Beta are put on Live soon... they were absolutely perfect. No trash cans and thunderstorms, and much more impactful than the Nerf bats we had for a bit. They hit a sweet spot, and I was awaiting them so that I could begin playing my Staff character... because until the sounds are fixed, he's virtually unplayable.

    [Edit: Pulled out my Staff dude... I think that the sounds on Live now ARE the middle of the road ones I was discussing... they aren't as Nerfy as the original ones, and definitely not the over-loud ones we had on Live pre-i23. Not entirely certain though.]
