A few have left since then (Castle, pohsyb, possibly others I haven't heard about) and others have been hired or promoted (Arbiter Hawk, TheNet, Honey Badger, and more). I know a few have been hired that have no actual redname yet (Honey Badger for one, but I know of a few others).
Also, there have been some OCR changes (Ocho, EMPulse leave, Zwankelheimdal, Freitag, 7deCouer come aboard and Beastyle gets a red name instead of just being Moderator 5).
I'd say it's likely that the number is somewhere between 45 and 65.
EDIT: Scooped on the number in the layoff due to taking my time trying to find a particular Dev introduction and not finding it. -

I don't log into the game to take surveys, I log in to play the game.
Putting a survey screen up that I have to answer to make it go away is likely to finally drive me away from this game. -
For that old of a chipset it's likely that you aren't going to get better results using any drivers that are newer than the 197.45 drivers.
That is a 7 year old low-end integrated chipset that was not designed for gaming. It was designed for basic computer usage such as opening text documents, spread sheets, etc.
A better solution would be to put an actual graphics card in the computer. -

Current tentative plans for Friday are Schaub's at 12:30 (if that time is ok with Red Gren) as long as crayhal can pick up Turg.
I'm waiting to hear from crayhal to make certain of who's picking up Turg at the airport, and then I'll get with Red Gren to finalize the times and post it here.
EDIT: Okay, crayhal is picking up Turg on Friday so how does 12:30 or 125:45 sound to those going to Schaub's for Fred's Steak sandwiches? -

I've seldom heard them give a flat NO to anything, it's usually an answer that is worded as a qualified NO. The qualifications they give usually allow them to do something if an idea strikes them later or it becomes something that fits into other plans.
An example of that would be the re-working of the Positron TF. It had been suggested and Posi and Hero 1 were asked about rewriting the Positron TF to shorten it or modify it using things they'd learned over the years and the response I was given was that they didn't have any plans to redo it. Something came up that made splitting it into 2 parts made sense so we got the revamp after all.
I like to think that some of the questions the players asked at HeroCon as well as the M&G's, and how they were worded, resulted in some of the things we've eventually gotten. -
Those apparently got broken along with whatever broke the Hero Style for the forums.
At least, I saw it reported in the threads discussing the forums breaking and the subsequent reports that it was just those using the Hero Style (not to be confused with Zombie Man's Hero Skin).
Presumably they'll be fixed at the same time. -

i forgot to check the door and get the /loc yesterday. i'll try to remember today. The door that's been working for me is not actually a clickable door.
Edit: Peregrine Isle: -2750.2 -6.2 -7006.0 (Cutlass Isle/Monkey Island.) You don't need to type /stuck, logging out and back in will put you below ground, so you'll start falling immediately if you don't have a flight power active.
After logging in under the map, I flew to below the arena under the black box, typed /stuck and emerged in what I've always heard referred to as The Matrix Room. I'm still there on Texas Justice on the Justice server. Will probably stay there a while again.

As you've noted, I'll have a car. I've rented a full-size car (sorry, no H3 or minivan this year) and should have room for a few people.
Friday Night: Sure, I can do Viva Sol. I'm sure I can find something to eat. I think the Palo Alto location may be one of the places my uncle took me to for a Sunday brunch. I wasn't all that impressed but I'm used to Tex-Mex cooking. I'm not that used to Poblana. The foot traffic was lousy likely due to being early Sunday and in late October/early November. Since he was driving I have no idea where he actually took me. We took a severely twisty route to get there since he was also showing me sites he thought I might be interested in.
Saturday breakfast: I'm in for OPH. If for no other reason than to let Zwenkendoogiehouser know that the Bacon Waffles there are inferior to those of Holder's.
Saturday lunch: I can do In-n-Out. Or something else if people would prefer. I think there is a Chipotle close to the Paragon Studios office and I haven't had Chipotle since I was in Colorado. I was going to head there last year before Red called me and had me meet him at Schaub's for the Fred's Steak sandwich. Or if someone comes up with a better idea for something quick to get to.
Sunday morning: Crack of dawn won't bother me. Since my plane is leaving later I can do a later breakfast, but I'd rather that Turgenev is able to join us. If needed, I can head over early with those that need an early breakfast and then hang out and wait to visit with those that come later.
As you mentioned, I'm doing Schaub's for lunch on Friday. I'm getting into SJC at around 11:30 and was planning on trying to be at Schaub's around 12:15 to 12:30. I haven't heard from Turgenev as to whether he was still going to need a pickup from the airport, but since he's getting in a little after 1:00 perhaps we can hold off until 1:30 if he wants to join us. My original plan was to eat before his flight arrived and then pick him up after lunch, but I'm flexible with that plan, I just need to hear from him about it. -
Ugh. I had tried the beta version of Spybot 2 on a computer at work. The system was in worse shape after installing that version than before. All restore points were wiped out by, apparently, Spybot 2. Undoing the changes didn't undo all of them. Uninstalling the program left several files on the computer and it was still virtually unusable.
I wound up having to re-image the computer to get everything to work right. Luckily, that one was using a basic image with only 2 additional programs installed.
Good luck in trying to get this working. A format/reload may be in your future.

The in-game GMs can do little to nothing to help with something like this. The actual support team may be able to figure out what's going on.
Looking at the Mids output, you are missing powers at levels 2, 4, 14, 26, 30, and 41.
You may want to take screenshots of the Enhancement Mangement screen and post them here to make sure the datachunk from the Titan Sentinel is correct. It will show definitively if powers are missing or not.
The ingame screenshot function doesn't work on the Enhancement Management screen. I generally use (in XP) the Print Screen key to or Alt + Print Screen to take a screenshot then paste it into Paint or (in Vista and 7)use the Windows Snipping Tool to capture the screenshot and then paste it into Paint. You may need to take one screenshot, paste it into Paint and save it, then scroll down to show the rest of the Power Pools and take another screenshot and paste it into Paint and save it.
Host those on a free image site such as ImageShack or Photobucket and either link to those images here, paste them into the post or if needed paste the link to them on the support ticket reply for documentation for them to look at to see that something is wrong. -
We've seen the dates like this for a long time in CoH Helper reports. It is generally caused by one of two things.
1. The driver installation is corrupted. When this is the problem all other dates appear correct except for this item.
2. Windows is configured to use a different date format other than MM/DD/YYYY such as those used in countries other than the US. Some non-US versions of Windows by default set the date to display as DD/MM/YYYY. When this is the problem all of the dates appear as 01/01/0001.
Since the video card is showing the odd date and the sound card is showing a normal date it seems as if this is a case of a corrupted video driver installation.
That really needs to be corrected by using the standard driver uninstall/driver sweeper/reinstall as outlined below:
Download the 175.19 drivers from the nVidia site, but don't install them yet.
Download and install Driver Sweeper but don't run it yet.
Uninstall the nVidia Video drivers from Add/Remove Programs in the control panel but don't reboot yet.
Open Device Manager and uninstall the video card from there.
Reboot into Safe Mode.
Cancel any New Hardware wizards that come up.
Run Driver Sweeper and have it remove the nVidia Display Driver remnants.
Reboot into Windows normal mode.
Cancel any New Hardware wizards that come up.
Install the drivers you downloaded previously.
Run CoH Helper and paste the results into Notepad. If the date for the video drivers looks normal, test the game. If not, something is blocking the drivers from installing correctly. It may also be what is causing the game to hang when loading.
If the drivers load correctly and the date looks normal but you still can't get the game to load, see if you can launch the game in Safe Mode (not Windows Safe Mode, but the game's Safe Mode) by following these steps.
Open the NCLaucher but don't start the game yet.
Right-click the City of Heroes entry and select Properties.
At the bottom of the page, put a checkmark in Launch in safe mode and then click OK.
Launch the game.
Does it run? Good. Slowly tweak your graphics settings to where you need them (I wouldn't raise them much above bare minimum with that video card) one setting at a time. After each change, close the game completely and relaunch it in normal mode and make another change, save the setting, close completely, rinse, repeat.
If at any time after a change the game doesn't load, go back into Safe Mode and start with the changes but skip the one that caused it not to load.
If the game still doesn't load, something on the computer is likely causing a conflict. The entries I see that concern me are Soluto, Kontiki, Spyware Doctor and PCPitStop. Those last two have different utilities in them that could be blocking the game if they aren't configured right. -

Well, if that's so then why do the CoX boards alone of all the vBulletin boards I've seen have this problem?
I'm not on many boards these days but two of them are vbulletin ones, they don't have the logout problem.
The difference I can see is at the bottom - both say 'Powered by vbulletin 2000-2011 version 4.something' (one is 4.1.6 and the other is 4.1.7 I think, not sure on the second because I forgot which one it was).
The one here doesn't show the version but says 'powered by vbulletin 2000-2009' - I did a google search on 'vbulletin logout problem' and most results are posts from 2008-2010 so probably it's been fixed in the newer versions like the 4.1.x ones.
One of the forums I'm on is running 3.7.6, two are on 4.1.6 and one is on 4.1.7 and all have the Copyright date showing as 2000-2011 rather than the 2000-2009 date showing on ours.
It's easy to tell if I'm logged out on two of the forums as you must be logged in to read the forums on those two sites. The other site I post on about once a week and I haven't had to log on there since March when I joined that forum. -
How are the computers connected to the modem/router/gateway/whatever his ISP connection is?

First off, both Desktop and Laptop should be upgraded to Windows 7 Service Pack 1. The Service Pack resolves many issues and could resolve some of these problems.
On the desktop, I'd recommend lowering the Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering settings quite a bit. I'd also recommend lowering the World Detail to at least High. You may also want to have them lower the Maximum Particle Count to 25050 as well.
I'm not seeing anything really out of the ordinary outside of those things.
Please post the HiJackThis logs as well as there may be something else running on the computer that is causing these problems.
