  1. Then I would suggest you try contacting tech support at one of the links in my signature.

Are you really running at 16000x9000?
  3. atioglxx.dll is ATI/AMD's OpenGL driver. It means you need to update your video card drivers. Go to www.amd.com to get the latest drivers.

    Catalyst 11.9

The only way to be 100% sure that the newly installed drivers are being used properly would be to remove all traces of previous drivers. And that's what these driver sweeper/cleaner tools try to accomplish.
  5. Change the graphics settings while Safe Mode is enabled.

    Server Maintenance Times

    The regular server maintenance will take place once a week on THURSDAY FROM 4:00 A.M. PACIFIC / 7:00 AM EASTERN / 12:00 P.M. BRITISH / 13:00 CENTRAL EUROPEAN TO 6:00 AM PACIFIC / 9:00 AM EASTERN / 2:00 P.M. BRITISH / 15:00 CENTRAL EUROPEAN.

Please note: while we are reserving that two-hour period for maintenance updates, they will not necessarily require the entire two hours and additional updates may be scheduled outside this time-period as needed. We may also perform maintenance on additional servers, such as the web servers, message boards, or login servers.

  7. The first game I wrote was an Othello game written in 6502 assembly language for the Apple //e.

Now, each of my family members has an iPod Touch and I have an iPad.

Steve Jobs was a visionary and perfectionist and truly had a talent for pushing insanely great products.

    RIP Steve Jobs.
  8. That is correct. In the Launcher, go to File->Settings, click on the "Advanced" tab, and change your Language and Region there. Only English, German, and French are currently supported by the game.
  9. What have you tried? You should not have to reinstall the game. Just right click on the game in the Launcher and select "Repair (Consistency Check)"

    I hate this!

This has been discussed in these threads:

    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=273511

Some people have been able to fix this problem by clearing the cache of their web browser.
  11. It sounds like the game did not install properly.

Right click on "CITY OF HEROES" in the Launcher and select "Repair (Consistency Check)" and it should replace missing files.
  12. The night-time window problem is a known issue and will be fixed in a future patch.
  13. If you go to www.cityofheroes.com and look at the top-right corner of the page, there should be a link labeled "Continue to cityofheroes.com"

  16. It could be either a temperature issue (too hot) or a power issue (not enough power from your power supply) or something else.

    Cant launch Coh

These dialogs will appear if your computer ships with Direct3D drivers but does not also contain OpenGL drivers.

So, you need to update your video card drivers.

  22. The only thing that stands out to me between Safe Mode and Minimum Graphics Quality is that Geometry Buffers are disabled with Safe Mode.

So, you might try enabling the Advanced Graphics options and disabling Geometry Buffers.
