My opinion on this thread is:-

A: Harder content has increased chances of teams for me which is a positive.
B: TF's are at the moment starting up all over the place for me another positive.
C: People who generally solo all the time are leaning towards teaming abit more than they used to due to wanting to acquire new rewards in game. This has got me a whole load new list of friends that before I wouldn't have met, and return we have gained from a teaming experience.
I think you may want to get your sarcasm/comedy detector fixed if you took Ironik seriously.

My character is at level 16- Up until about this point, my game has run very nicely, but now that I'm able to access higher level areas via the Ferry (necessary in order to level up further and such) my game likes to lag a lot and be generally irritating once I enter any new areas.

I'm just curious as to why it would only lag in new areas and run fine in lower level spots. I have my graphics settings at the minimum as is, and I'm at a loss. If anyone has any suggestions as to what else I might do to eliminate this problem and/or an explanation as to why it's happening in the first place I would appreciate it.

Thanks a lot for your time, I look forward to any and all input.
You wouldn't be playing a villain in Grandville on Freedom or Virtue would you?
  3. After years of abuse by Yogi, can we really blame Boo Boo for snapping like this?
  4. I want more animation like that. Granted it's not for the kids, etc. but some short ones with them doing roles from famous movies.

No wonder Boo Boo said "Mr. Ranger isn't going to like this, Yogi."

I finally found a way to make it more entertaining for me.

I am using my purple warshade so that's a good start of course.

I am running tip missions accumulating hero merits and shards. An occasions trip out in the RWZ to also get some tips, shards and vanguard merits. And also occasional Ouroboros arcs to change the scenery.

He finally got his alpha common boost which I found greatly entertaining. I am not sure he is benefiting from it but I do like seeing it on his buff display.

Prior to figuring out how to make this fun it was not any fun at all but now I am having a great time.

Maybe all of the emails would be sent after the respec is actually completed so you wouldn't have an unfinished respec result in the players being able to fool the system and truly make enhancements anything but permanent.

I don't agree they should be permanent though regardless. This game has remained viable and healthy due to the direct fact that we have the best dev team on the planet. One major reason this is the case is the fact that they listen and change with the players and the lack of a crystal ball. No one, not even the devs, can see the future and how this game would change and evolve, but it has regardless. Their ability to roll with the punches is one of their greatest attributes. If we can change what POWERS we even have for our characters and how powerful each one of those is through the number of slots, which is a LOT more fundamental and hard to justify than the little enhancements we have in them, then why does this part have to be so harshly regulated as permanent. The fact that we have the ability to do the 10 per respec thing is a complete breakage of any semblance of permanent.

The cat's already outta the bag on the permanency issue, guys. Learn, grow and move on. In this instance they can learn from my post, grow to at least address it or implement it and then we can all move on...
I admit I am stunned by the arrogance of this last bit.

FYI, some of us never stopped and never had to move on.

I'm not sure where you got that 1% number but even if true anyone who isn't looking to get the information really doesn't count because they aren't telling us whether they have a problem or not.

I mean that's like if you and I were at lunch and I asked you some advice and I told you it was worthless because no one else who needed it was with us at lunch to get it. It's not like the forums are a secret.

    Sam,
I just want to point out there are a lot more than just the Shivans. I wasn't sure if you were using this as a blanket thing or you just meant only Shivans.

I discovered the Backup Radio is pretty helpful just this past weekend.

And for my villains I've always gone overboard with the Loa Bone and Summoning Amulet as well as the Grandville mad scientist's pets when I get those.

There's also the Warwolf whistle and the Katie Hannon pet to summon hero side and the Vanguard thing.

And my personal favorite is the vet buff pet. Not because the buffs help but because the enemies seem to target them first. I figure anything the enemy is attacking that isn't me is a good thing.

I don't know about anyone else, I sold some of those a few months ago for quite a lot of money. I was planning to buy more -- some at level 30 for myself, some to sell at a future point next year.

But you can sell your candy canes to me. ^_^
I did that once but I determined it was quicker and easier (and I am very lazy) to just sell the candy canes to the costumers who want to get their halos.
  12. She had a great score with getting to be Princess Leia but she's really not very funny. She made a lot of lame movies after that and in the Blues Brothers when her character started talking I was glad that was the only scene she spoke in.

I think you are mistaken and you are jumping to conclusions and displaying a lack of patience and being insulting in this post of yours. Perhaps you should not be so busy looking for a weakness to attack which is so easy when sitting behind a keyboard.

I also think there are at least 2 trolling posts in this thread not made by people poking at the OP.
  14. The first few hours/day does tend to be the most.
  15. Could it have been a tip or morality mission? I know sometimes they send me all over the place.
  16. I'm a little confused because I thought paper/radio missions gave us the mission in the zone we were in.

I just got one of my level 50 toons 18 slots which I thought was great being she was using the market like a drunken sailor during the respec bonanza after i19 went live. I pulled this chart from paragonwiki and for some reason it says 16 slots maxed which cannot be right being that I just got 18 slots and unless this chart has not been updated? Also, should I desire to obtain the max # of market transaction slots, what is the best way to go about this, buying and selling like crazy? I know there are some Wentworth Badges you can get such as the Power Seller Badge for selling 7000 items and other badges that will give you extra slots. I am thinking that 20 slots are the max but I am not 100% sure?
A recent Vet reward also gave some of us oldtimers more slots.

It places bricks in the wall separating people.

This is a game, not real life. Some people only have so much time that they can devote to it and have to choose where they put their time. And no I am not saying everyone else lives in their Mom's basement or other stereotypes and therefore has no real life themselves. Can we just agree that players have differing amounts of time they can put into the game?

Yes people coming here from outside the local clique often expect too much. I see an Us vs. Them forming. Maybe I am wrong.

Tiny little insignificant morsel of food for thought. Or not.
I am a BUY IT NAO! and SELL IT NAO! player. That is why I support the flippers keeping my market slots open.

The only Us vs Them that is going on is the market ignorant trying to blame things they don't like in the market on mean old flippers rather than the simple fact that the market is based on supply and demand and when I want NAO activity I am ratcheting up my demand to a smaller supply and thus have to pay for it.

Sin? No. Just the another axis affecting market prices.

This is still by far my favorite arc in the game mostly for the evoking of the comic memory.

Wait. One Merit Vendor NPC runs around beheading them shouting "There can be only one!"
  23. Do not want.

It will just lead to people adding that to their reasons to discriminate against other players and cause people who currently aren't concerned with it to start "worrying" about their DPS.

I guess we should ignore this obvious example of a flipper causing the price of salvage to increase - or find some reason to discredit it as not really happening.

Cause we all know based on half concocted experiments and extensive BS propaganda done here on the market forums... that flippers could never possibly drive up the prices on items based on their actions. Right ?

    ROFL
Because this one person can buy all of a common salvage created in the game?

Even if this person used every character slot on every server and had max slots on every character meaning all are level 50s, etc. they could only buy 10x18x36x11 of them before someone could buy one at a lower price. That is just over 71000 of it.

And they couldn't turn around and sell them without logging in each one of them which would take at least 2 minutes per character I would think so that would be 2x36x11 minutes for 13.2 hours.

So how is this one person driving up the price against the will of the rest of the playerbase?

I don't expect you will have an intelligent response but I eagerly await it.
