  1. I'd love to see this happen. My L50 Ice tank is actually a small Japanese professor in a large mech suit. He's currently based on the huge body size, but I'd love to have one costume slot of him out of his battle suit. It seems a shame he's locked in there for ever
  2. [ QUOTE ]
Yes, it's getting smarter, the fiendish thing... it lulls you into a false sense of security and when you're appropriately distant from the door... BAM!!!

It's turning my blue hair white!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I had this the other day on a Clear the Cargo Ship mish. It took me 4 attempts to get further than the door and then I got about 30 secs into the mish before being lost.

I found on the last attempt that /stuck managed to get me going again and I had no more problems from then on.
  3. Ah, that would explain things....although a firing rate of <1% (instead of 10%) would be why people never see it fire in Secondary powers such as taunt. Such a shame.
  4. Ok, update. I did another test, found a group of 8 Hellions, all level 10 (that's -40 to my tank) and toggled on ONLY Chilling Embrace. Stopwatch started, Combat Attributes open.

In 10 minutes, the proc hit 3 times. My combat numbers remained constant, indicating that the self stun never happened but 3 times in 10 mins x 8 hellions is not 20% chance to stun (it actually works out at 3 in 480 = 0.625%)

So, respec time it is.....I'm just gonna dump this, which is such a shame as I thought it could be so useful.
  5. The point is the IO was supposed to be bugged so that it stunned you rather than your target.....which didn't seem to be the case. If I had been affected I would have expected to see one or other of these number affected. I did try it without Wet Ice running and the results were the same.

The rate of stun was very low, not anywhere near what I would expect for a 20% but that could have been the RNG being unkind to me. I would have expected more than 3 or 4 hits in 5 minuted though.
  6. I have this slotted in Chilling Embrace, from before they said it was bugged and "fixed" it by disallowing Taunt IO sets from taunt auras.

I was about to respec (drop Air Sup, pick up Frozen Aura) when I thought I'd just test to see if it really was broken.

I pulled up the combat attributes so I could watch my Stun Protection and Stun Resistance as I'm sure the problem was this was stunning yourself rather than your targets.

I started Chilling Embrace and found a lowly group of Hellions to play with and to my surprise saw them (very) occasionally get stunned. My own stun protection/resistance did not change when this happened.

Has this been fixed on the sly? Should we now be allowed to slot Taunt IO sets back into taunt auras? Or has it always worked in Chilling Embrace but not in other auras?

I wish I had my US account active so I could PM Castle....I don't suppose anyone else here can? It would be great to get an answer on this. Plus now I can't respec Frozen Aura in as I wouldn't be able to keep the proc in CI.

    /e ninja edit!
    Fraps video of this happening
  7. From Castle here:

    [ QUOTE ]
Well, just to curb some things a bit, here's the check in note:
"Moment of Glory: Removed Health crash and Heal resistance. Reduced Recharge time to 240 seconds. Decreased Protection, Resistance and Defense durations to 20 seconds."

The intended use is for a quick 'burst' of protection for when you are going in for the alpha, or are 'in trouble.' So far, there's an even split internally with 1/3 saying, "That sucks! No one will take it!" and 1/3 saying "OMG, that's overpowered!"

I'm really interested to see how it plays out on the Training Room.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sounds like a massive change, I can't wait to try it on the test server...
  8. Looking great guys! I can finally sync my CIT andn CGT character info.......yay!

Why bother doing hammy when STF takes less time (if you include organizing), and can be run far more frequently.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    I Agree 100%

    [/ QUOTE ]

I guess the problem is for those of us in small SGs (3 people in mine) that Hammi used to be a way of playing end game content. I could turn up at the appointed time, join a random team, chat, whack at the jelly for a while and go home with a HO and maybe a couple of new friends.

I've never done the STF, never mind know anyone that runs it on any kind of a regular basis (and would spare a space for a Kat/Regen). As such HOs are now a thing of the past for my poor scrapper

I guess the RWZ raids have pretty much replaced the old Hammi raid for many players because of this. A costume piece is a poor substitute for a Acc/Dam HO though!
  12. [ QUOTE ]
Good luck getting one for 3 million - 4 million was the cheapest I could get one yesterday.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I picked mine up for 2 million.....it's just a matter of putting in some bids and waiting (that's blue side, my brute bought hers for 500k each). It just depends how much patience you have.

    Gratz to Me

Gratz! This is when altitis really sets in
  15. I have 3 slotted Hover on my Kat/Regen and found it of great use in the later levels against those foes that like to throw caltrops like confetti (KoA). Plus I have swift with a couple of fly IOs in and it's faster than just running, with the added mobility of flight.

You can then just toggle between Fly and Hover at the appropriate times, plus the End usage is really low.

In the end I guess it comes down to your character concept and whether you have room in your build.
  16. If you have space for it in your build it's probably useful. Personally my Kat/Regen is quite happy without the fitness pool at all, he solo's on Invincible all the time and with Reconstruction and Dull Pain I don't know how necessary Health would be for you.
  17. Heh, if you think Union Badgehunters is quiet you should try Defiant Badgers, I think I saw a tumble weed roll past on there last week but that's about it. Oh, and someone spotted the Ghost Ship in Talos
  18. Ok, the West Coast Egos are a small SG (3 people) on Defiant. The SG has been going for about 18months but Prestige comes in slowly as we are all fairly casual players.

I have just revamped the base following Issue9 to add the invention related items and shuffle some of the rooms about. (I still rez facing the wall, why is the Reclaimator not directional?)

    Base Overview
    Power and Control
    Teleport Zone
    Hospital and Workshop
    Office, Library and TV Room

We still have excess power but the control is completely used up. Once we have the Supercomputer (one day, maybe) we can replace the Office with a 4th TP room to get to 4 more zones.
  19. I have to put my vote up for Mids Hero Planner as well. An absolutely astonishing piece of work and admired by our American cousins as well as here.

    Great work Midnights!
  20. Suzumebachi

    Reformed

Many thanks to Fosca and all that helped out.....badge achieved!
  21. In the wee hours of this morning an intrepid team set out to rescue Statesman from the clutches of Tyrant. They emerged victorious with 3 new level 50 heroes!

    The victors with States
    Party time at Atlas Park

Many congratulations to Lucky Strike, Toy Poodle and Sparx
  22. Yeah, thanks for the organising this Princess, I had been wanting to get this badge checked off for ages. It went surprisingly quickly I thought
  23. Gratz to all those that got badges so far!

If there is anyone out there teaming up for this over the weekend please give me a shout @Suzumebachi

    Thanks.
