The whole badge hunting does seem to have died down. I remember when always annoucements in coalition chat with badges up for grabs but you don't seem to get that much these days. With badge hunting channel I think there have been a few problems/incidents which has made some people leave which could be the reason why less active.

Well, guess i will just have to throw out some random broadcasts whenever i want to do some badgehunting, it's one of my favorite things in this game.
Btw. max i remember you from old, what happened to VG Violators? Havent seen any of my old officers around at all...
Long story short, Dr Death left, Violators folded. Rest of Violators moved on to other sgs including ourselves.

I've not been on UBH that long, only about a year but there are still regular messages from people organising task forces and teams for accomplishment badges. I don't know if there's more chatting on non-related topics than there was when the channel started but this seems to be what annoys a lot of people. Personally I think that as long as it's not getting in the way of anyone trying to start a badge team then it's not a problem.
Any way, come back to the channel and go for some badges. It's still a friendly bunch of people on there!
There is a lot more chat than there used to be but I think the main reason for this is the fact that the channel tends to be quiet for such long periods. This week hasn't been too bad any time I've logged in, although admittedly it's nearly all been SFs, not much regarding other badges.
OK I have to ask: Where do I find this mythical Channel where people organize SFs?
Because I really don't do them often enough...

After some problems with people chatting and some complaints about off-topic chat, there are now 3 different channels. The original Union Badgehunters which is for badge related stuff only, the related Union Chat which is for all off-topic chat and is generally entertaining when people get going, and a new channel called Union BH-Chat which is for both badges and chatting because some people don't like having two channels.
If you want to find any of these channels you click on "Tab" at top of the chat box and click "channel search". It can take a few click on search to get it to bring up all the channels, don't forget to add the channel to one of your numbered tabs so its easily accessible

Wow I am part of UBH...anyhoos, they ain't very active anymore, since the grossed TFs, GM Hunts, and badge mission thingies just about everyone has got at least 150 badges.
But do not fear. Most newbies in the channel are nearly 50 so they will create new toons, and the badgehunting buisness will be back again.
Whatever happens Union Badgehunters is still a channel if it still exists.

Hey all, been offline for a while now but back in the day the chat-channel Union Badgehunters used to be pretty active with ppl putting together teams for badgehunting. Now that im back this channel seem to be totally abandoned, are no one bothering with badges theese days?
