Good job there totally looks functional and the crystal poking out there on the floor blends in well.

Quote:You never know. Could be some crazy person with more money then sense that built some 'dream build' in mids and does not understand there is a better way to do it.I am quite confident that nobody is using five hecatombs in any one build.
After all I know a few people like that. the LOL I GOT ALL PURPLES sort of people that just look at the numbers and don't really do a lot of research into what actually works.
Oh that too. -
As crazy as it sounds since you can have 5 copies of any IO set bonus some people do sometimes use 5 of a set in there build. Thou most would just use different sets that have the same set bonus to get there stack of 5.

You know I've made a lot of toons while playing this game... but never a cat girl. I got a mouse girl, a lizard, a few dragons, a toon of clockwork things, some eldritch horrors, and a few furry monster like women (monster fur body, gloves, legs, feets but normal head). But no cat girls. Odd *looks at empty character slot* hmmmmm maybe.

I believe so.
Have not tried it but it has the same effects so even if it looks different (which I don't think it does) its pretty much the same power. -
NO!
I use Wormhole all the time it is hands down a vary useful power in all sorts of situations.
Need to pull a small group of mobs around a corner? Wormhole can do that... and knock them on there butts.
Got a tank of AoE death and want to get more mobs on him? Wormhole can do that.
Need to combine to mob groups? Wormhole.
Soloing and need to scatter some mobs that are on top of you? Wormhole.
Want to piss off the scrapper that ran ahead to a different set of mobs then the tank went for? Wormhole ... and giggle.
I use it on my Grav/Kin in almost every mission. -
Yes which is why I was trying to give sort of helpful directions. I know the first time I went there I rushed to go get the Explore badge on top of the building and it took me a few moments to find the portal becuase it fades out of view so quickly.

What he said.
basicly when you ported in you where standing right in front of a portal. That is the same portal you can use to return.
If you don't remember where that is it is directly across the pool from the building. -
I love Architect and really do wish they would do something about the HoF.
My only suggestion lower the star requirement to anything 4+. Mostly becuase I've seen some really well done story arcs that have become the victim of TL;DR and gotten a few bad stars from that. Slow to start stories don't always mean the arc over all is bad.
IDK just my point of view. -
also I see you reg'd back in 2004 so hopefully you have a few vet powers. Sands of MU is also a great attack chain filler for low level tanks (or anyone really).
-
I do not even get home until 930pm EST ish most days. But I'd be up for something.
-
My only redside toon to make it to 50 is an Elec/Pain Corruptor.
Apparently this is not supposed to happen? -

You win... please collect one internet sir.

Quote:I'm suggesting yes there be a small chance the Zero IO will eat your IO and you get nothing. A small risk like 1% anything to make it not just a pay to get your IO back. Because if that is all it is then way bother with a Zero IO in the first place just have some NPC that can unslot stuff for a price.Clarification request here:
Are you suggesting a chance to have the Zero IO do nothing, or a chance to lose the IO you're trying to remove?
Quote:In the first case I can go along with it. The second, not so much.
Quote:I'm not exactly swimming in influence here, so losing that Regenerative Tissue unique I mentioned before would hit me pretty hard. Last I checked they are going for 140 million blue side (probably at least twice that red side). That is a significant investment for me, as I don't farm or play the market.
Quote:I got it as a drop, that's the only reason I have it (in fact that's the only reason I have ANY expensive IOs), so having a chance to lose something I would be hard pressed to replace would deter me from using this feature at all.
On the other hand, if the IO has a chance to do nothing at all it would be mildly annoying, but wouldn't be a major deterrent if I had the money to spend on the IO.
A chance to lose the IO you're trying to remove would be a very bad thing for people in my situation. That Gladiator's Armor unique that you got as a lucky drop? Yeah....it's gone now, and you won't be able to replace it unless you have 2 billion influence to spend on it. It would just be another way that the people who have influence to burn have an advantage over the "casual" player. If you have 30 billion influence sitting in the market, losing a 2 billion influence IO isn't that big of a deal. If you have 500 million across ALL your characters it's an entirely different story.
So, in short: Chance to do nothing at all, yes. Chance to lose the expensive IO you can't replace, no. -
Quote:This right here pretty much sums up why I have a bunch of tanks. Tanking is more a mind set then a power set. It is about being That guy everyone wants to beat on. It is about protecting the team by making everyone beat on you. It is about being an unstoppable Juggernaut of pain and discontent.do you like being Thor wielding pain in the middle of 16 adversaries all by yourself, then most players hero side play a Tank.
And hell it is a lot of fun. -
I really wanted to just man mine Bob... but that name was already taken.
-
Yes that is why I like it so much. As long as the cost to BlackHole your IOs out is somewhat near the cost to replace them I'm fine with it. Your still burning the Inf sink the only thing you are saving is the trouble of finding and crafting the original IOs. Your spending money to save time.
-
I know really? The more I think about this the more I like it. It is not a simple gimme my IOs back like most suggestions. It would be time consuming to do. Making the Zero IO slotting it dealing with the chance of failure. A level 50 that wanted to De-Slot his whole build would be spending an hour or more between crafting and de-slotting. More if he did not have an SG with a crafting table and personal vault close by.

Quote:Yes like C&E here pointed out its not a high damage set. It is nice and has some cool effects. The ammo swap comes in useful sometimes and it has a nuke that does not have a end crash. But it is nothing your going to pwn and own with right out the box. I myself tried a DP/Dev and that was lack luster rerolled DP/Ice and that turns out to be pretty nice. It's fun, but you're not going to be outdamaging fire blasters.
But YMMV and I would still stand by the idea of not pre-ordering just for DP unless you really really want it for its looks which is really the big selling point for DP. -
No you should not pre-order just for Dual Pistols... or ever Demon Summoning.
You should pre-order if you feel you would be playing GR when it comes out and do not mind the lack of box free month you miss by pre-ordering.
DP is fun and so is DS. But I would not suggest that being the reason for someone to pre-order.
That being said I pre-ordered awhile ago and have been enjoying DP/DS now. But then again I pre-order everything for this game and get all the packs becuase I love the game.
... Oh and I have DP/Ice and it is a lot of fun. Not sure its the best... but its fun and that is how I roll. -
Have yourself a nice stout that is my tip. It has never done me wrong.

Oh I will pipe in here is how I normally go about finding a team redside. I first use the LFT option turn it on any add a note something like "DEAR LORD I NEED XP" or the such.
Then I check my friends list and see if any are up for some redside teaming.
If that Fails I go hang out in Pocket D do some light RPing and surf the web sooner or later someone will send me a tell looking for a team.
