The craftable Jetpack Temp Power ....
I believe so.
Have not tried it but it has the same effects so even if it looks different (which I don't think it does) its pretty much the same power.
Different timers, I believe, but I think all the "Jetpacks" (craftable, Shadow Shard purchased, Day Job and Posi) are the same as Raptor Pack.
Dec out.
The purchased one looks like the Goldbrickers.
Which is quite a bit cooler than the raptor IMO.
So that's why I'm curious.

I actually like the xmas jetpack the most.
I was really disappointed that the Antigravity Matrix temp power was just another Raptor Pack. I was hoping it would be like a flying bubble or something.

I assume he's talking about the one you purchase with real money from the game. I could be wrong, though. Maybe the one you buy in Shadow Shard, though. I haven't seen that one, just heard about it.

Yes. The Grandville and Shadow Shard jetpacks are just Raptor Packs. No need to guess or speculate.
Also, when you have one of those, if you do the Atlas Safeguard or Mayhem, you will not be awarded a Raptor Pack upon completion. However, I think that if you later run an Atlas bank mission after the purchased pack has been used up or otherwise deleted, then you will get the one from completion of the mission.
I just realized that if I'm careful enough to constantly supply my character with Jetpack, I won't need to take a travel power pool. Would anyone else agree that this is a good idea?
Considering I've been doing that on new characters, and supplimenting it with Ninja Run, since I got the Natural Booster Pack...
Though I do take Combat Jumping for the defense it gives, and Super Speed for max vertical movement in missions.

It's effective, but not as effective (ie, as fast) as Fly with a couple of slots in it.

If you're using recipes for Jetpacks and are worried about running out of one during a long play session, I'd suggest buying a few extra recipes and mailing them to your global. If you keep the parts in your base (or also in email or on your person), you can craft a new one between missions without having to go to the market or Shard.

To give an UnOfficially Official Answer to the OP's original question: Yes. It look exactly the same.
Crafted one earlier today, and popped it on and off to see. 30 min timer on it, so you're really better off dropping the 10k for the 2 hour version.

Is it just the Raptor pack?
