Dont go to town for an all nighter then soon as you wake up drink a whole glass of orange juice.

You WILL regret it for a good few hours after

Damz, Damz, Damz, when will you learn.

You did 5 things wrong:

1. You STOPPED drinking
2. You went to bed
3. You went to work
4. You didnt add anything to the orange juice
5. You told us all about it

I know all thats been covered, I just wanted to add my 25 Years 11 months and 348 days old laugh to your folly. (damn that took a while to work out!!)

Heh vodka I can handle, can drink it to the cows come home, never gets me that drunk or makes me ill. My favorite is Vodka and Applejuice, there's one place here in Croydon that serves it, all the rest just give you odd looks.

Now Whiskey, whiskey is a different matter...after binging on it (a very large bottle of bells whiskey to myself without mixer and chugged down in about half an hour) I can't stand the smell of the stuff, it makes me sick to my stomach if I drink it and for the next day or so I will be able to taste it.

Now if you want proper gut wrenching, clear out the stomach, drink I recommend The viking.

It's a drink of my own concoction, it's two shots of afterhshock blue (represents the sea) and, if you bar serves them, a vodka badjelly floating ontop of it (the viking longboat).

Three or four is usually enough for the stomach...

Vokda & Applejuice= Yummy. However, Vodka & Appljuice & Croydon = Trouble. I know I live there also.

One simple hangover cure, 2x soluble Paracetemol & Codine tablets in water, then a full english breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sasages, the lot, all dripping with grease and brown sauce Best hangover cure known to man, either that or not drink the night before.

Why would you drink Vodka if it doesn't make you drunk. Vodka is great, gets me happy-drunk and dancey (although I'm dancey anyway).

Whiskey can make me grouchy and mildly stroppy, so I tend to avoid it nowadays, even though I love Jameson. I've found Captain Morgans rum a good substitute which avoids the stroppyness though.

I will also accept Long Island Ice Teas or Mojotos.

Never liked vodkas.
But good whiskey on the other hand...

During the winter i drink whiskey, neat. I usualy keep a bottle of Grouse around. If you can get a good batch of Penderyn, it's lovely, with a smokey orange aftertaste, but it's a single malt, so a bit hit or miss on whether its a good year.

Summer, i drink Pernod, plenty of ice, and lemon.
It was a bottle of pernod (on top of drinking a bottle of scotch) that sent me blind over new years a couple of years ago.

Grog from brown rum is another good summer drink, and just prooves to me that pirates were not as hard as they say they are.

Purple rain are LUSH! They're cocktails which taste like those parma violets sweets

VK blues are more a end of night drink where your drunk already and just want to keep at that level. I know my limits where if i keep drinking "heavy drinks" then i'll get to a state which usually ends up with me ringing people in the morning saying sorry

These are normal cardiffian drinks

Thats the sign of a good night out If you haven't got to phone up people to apologise or you wake up in a familiar place then it's a quiet night.

Of course if you wake up in a police cell covered in bruises then you've had too much of a good time

Or wake-up in a cell which DOESN'T belong to the police...

That's generally uh-oh time

Beginner mistake

That being said, Im lucky enough to be able to get completely legless and not suffer any form of hangover other than dehydration

That being said, my dehydration cure tends to be having a full bottle of flat cokenext to me for most of the day (flat is important, fizzy makes your stomach feel like pure acid). Ive had a 48 hours drinking spree with a few friends a couple of years ago as well, and still went to work the day after completely fine lol.

Well it all depends on what your tied to and what your tied up with. Silk Scarfs to somthing soft ain't so bad. Iron Shackles to somthing not so soft, then it's an 'Oh Crap' moment... But still a sign of a good night out
