    Oh, and /set_all_enemies "Armadillo".

I was watching that just today, and am still singing bits of it.

I think there should be. I'll be suprised if there aren't, anyway. :/
  3. I'm liking how many of these I'm seeing around the forum. Perhaps the original post could be updated with image tags for the not-so-tech-savvy? Saying that, MMO boards. I dunno. :P

  5. Well, already requested, as you know, but may as well stick it in here too to prevent it being asked for repeatedly. Loyalist one with one of Mother Mayhem's seers, please?
  6. These are all electric, Orion. I hate to ask it of you, but would you have the time to do another Loyalist one with a Seer? I'd like, love you and junk.
  7. Servers are still down for the europeans. Or, at least I can't get in.
  8. While powers like detention field and sonic cage have some players that will sing their praises, (I love them), there's an obvious presence of players who aren't so fond of them. The most common reason I see in teams is that if the rest of the mob is cleared, they don't like waiting for the enemy to be freed from their confinement.

So what I ask is, is there any obvious reason why these powers wouldn't be better off as a phase shift-like toggle where you can only keep the enemy detained for up to thirty seconds, but can let them out earlier if you please?

Is only the Brute version of this fixed? I know that at least the scrapper version of this is experiencing the same, if not a very similar bug. :/

Depends on how you do it. Us europeans split up to make the banners vulnerable, and then all went from banner to banner, steamrolling through them. Everyone got all four badges in ones run.
  11. I too, plan on playing my characters' praetorian counterparts myself. While I would like a Nemesis system, I don't think I'd like it lodged into Praetoria.

    Boys and girls

    I'm a guy, and I find I play around 70% girls, and 30% guys.
This is mostly because when I visualise my concept, it has curves. Although a large factor is that the female costume designer owns the male one.
  13. I've never been more frustrated to be let out of school early. GAH.

    Still, well happy!
  14. I've recently been the user of two trial accounts; the first of which was obtained via the "invite a friend" service, and the second of which was applied for on the website.

The first account is everything that I'd expect the modern CoX trial account to be. It has access everything my main account has access to minus epics, vet rewards, and booster packs.

The second account however, has access to only the five basic hero archtypes, and couldn't change from the default faces when designing a costume, and had access to no costume pieces added with CoV.

However, it appears that while writing up my issues on the forums, on the third day of this second account being active, it goes ahead and fixes itself. Of course.

Regardless, anyone known of this happening? Why it happens?
  15. Ooh, I'm relieved. I was quite ready to set my client on fire after a line-up of things going wrong. And I don't mean bugs.

The Open Beta for Issue 16: Power Spectrum is now available to all our City of Heroes and City of Villains players!
So either we are not part of the 'all players', we will get it with delay... or worst case, they dont even make anouncements with keeping EU players in mind.
This is probably the thing bugging me most. I don't think I'd be so annoyed about us not getting EU open beta if they actually told us, or at least didn't completely disregard us in the announcement.

Okay, I was fine with Closed Beta being only accessable by the americans, but losing out on open beta has seriously annoyed me. It's like, the one thing I had to look forward to at the moment, and then they keep the fact that we don't get it quiet. It could have at least been in the official announcement.

Edit: What do trial accounts have access to?
  18. I too think this is a real shame. I used to go there to look at player thoughts on individual powers, as well as oogle at the pictures of the individual powers when they were there. Anyone know of somewhere else this is done?

I am, and my clock currently says 22:45. This is my point. This is not GMT. This is BST. Two different timezones.
  20. This con artist must have been Perfectionist then, as he was the one talking. Sorry to seem like a nitpicking little thing, but I'm so confident I'm right. You do know that Britain is currently using BST and not GMT, right?

Nope. It was 7pm BST. 6pm GMT.

I turned up at just after 6:30pm GMT quite excited for the competition that was meant to be starting in half an hour. At this point, it turns out the winners were being asked to vacate elsewhere.

I appreciate you doing things like this for the community but was disappointed to find that when I logged on 30 minutes early the event had happened 1 hour early.
    This.

I must recommend that the next time you plan such a huge event and advertise it as well as you have this one, that you actually go ahead and run it at the time you said it'd be run. I'm quite irked, to be honest.
  23. I wouldn't really consider this to apply to me in what I play, as I play all-sorts. However, I can probably see some connection.

My only characters that last past say level six are the ones whose mindset I can really get into, understanding the character, who they are, what they do. I also live in my own little imagination-world and will often drift off and have to be snapped back to reality.

Could this be a connection at all? A childish "play-time" scenario?
