Has anyone seen/heard anything about the Devs allowing access to the Jet Pack during the outside stage of the Lambda trial? I have a toon with only SuperSpeed as the travel power, and would craft a Jet pack for Lambda's, but ATM, they don't seem to work there. How's a Speeder supposed to participate in the turret clearing stage?

It sure would be nice if the costume editor could have some structured lists so we could find the options associated with a particular pack. Or if that's just too much trouble, then some sort of documentation with a picture of each part and where to find it. This hunting around for paid-for pack parts is really frustrating!

COH is my first MMO as well. Shortly after I got my first character to level 20, I went to Independence Port, but had to log out pretty much right away. The next time I logged in, there was a guy (I thought another player) in some kind of military outfit standing right next to me. I stood there checking out his costume, when he started shooting at me! Hey!

deadboy_champion: So far, I am happy with Ranged defense on this toon, especially lately on the Incarnate trials. I do appreciate an example of capped S/L that I may be able to use on other toons, going forward.
EJI: Thanks - I see some improvement from the multiple BotZ sets. I am curious about the Hami-O's in Rain of Fire in the first build. In this build, without any accuracy slotted into RoF, the power has 235% accuracy, which already seems to me to be way more than needed. Adding the Hami-O's brings this up to 335%. Have you ever run into a situation where you needed that much accuracy? -
The current build for my fire/ice/cold blaster hits the Ranged Def soft cap, but I am bugged that I had to invest 6 slots into a power that I do not use (Boxing) to do so. The build plays great, but I wish those slots could be used for other means than just getting the set bonus.
Build/Playstyle guidelines used:
- As a blaster, my priority is Damage, so I am not willing to sacrifice that to get defense.
- I tend to hover-blast with this character, so do not get into Melee range by choice.
- I have the Spirtual Total Radial Revamp to effectively get 3-slot recharge on Build Up, Aim, and Hasten.
Any thoughts on how I could still soft cap, but get more utilization from those slots? Thanks.

Since CS does the same damage for the same end and rech but with Stun rather than Knockback it's much more useful in combat.
Crane Kick is awesome, though, for going around Atlas Park at level 20+ and knocking Hellions around. -

After 6+ years of playing COH, I finally got around to trying out the MA set on a scrapper. What a joy! I find myself saving up Crane Kick until I know it will defeat a mob, just for the fun of delivering the final blow by punting him across the room, or even better, off a bridge, cliff, walkway, or any other elevated surface. Woohoo - talk about feeling like a superhero!

Local Man, thanks for that analysis. I wasn't sure the proc was worthwhile (not a great fan of proc's in general), but went for it to get the ranged defense bonus that comes from 6-slotting Lockdown.

I just equipped my Grav controller with two full sets of Lockdown IO's in Gravity Distortion and Gravity Distortion Field. Sometimes, the Hold animation on my target is shown as a Tesla Cage, not the usual swirlies. Is this a bug, or WAI to show when the +2 Mag proc fires?

Yes, with the Celerity +Stealth in Super Speed, you can skip taking Stealth. As pointed out by the previous poster, take Combat Jumping instead for a better +Def (doesn't suppress during combat), and is also a great mule for a LotG.

I used Fighting for my ranged-def blaster. Boxing was a waste, but Tough was used as a mule for the Steadfast Protection +3% Def I/O (I don't actually run the toggle, just have the I/O slotted), and Weave provides more defense than Maneuvers.

I recently had to jump through a bunch of hoops to change the CC associated with my account, after getting repeated "transaction error" messages. Tech Support blamed it on me! They said "something" in my system configuration was blocking their system's attempt at validating that this was a legit transaction. Apart from recommending that I be sure that all pop-up blockers were disabled, they did not provide much other help, until it finally got escalated to someone who could temporarily disable the validation checking.

I am still at work, so haven't been able to do this TF yet as a WSF. My question is are you exemped down to level 25, like usual, or since this is a WSF, does it scale up to 50? Thanks.
