NCSoft Store: Still has problems
I know how you feel every time i want a pack need to go through support to get it which takes all day, and today is no different. the Site system need to be redesigned. i have no problem buying anything online on any other site , but every time i go to ncsoft it the same problem with them.
Their store is simply rubbish at handling CC payments.
I just used PayPal instead, as I do for all my transactions with NCSoft.
I might follow your lead on that one, Carni, the CC system is so bad it can't even remember my details. Ever.

I really wouldn't have too much problem with this if it wasn't the same card I've been using for the past 4 years and that they have it on file to bill my account from.

But like I said in another related thread I have -never- had a problem buying one of these new packs if I just give it a few hours after its initial release. Since I'm usually at work and can't play until I get home that little extra wait doesn't bother me for the most part.

Better off letting the professionals handle credit card processing, seems NCSoft can't get a handle on it themselves.
Originally I did it because they started throwing security errors over my card details a few months back (EU Card trying to pay for US service I guess) but I've had no issues since I did so.

I'm just saying that NCSoft's handling of PayPal is not perfect either.

I do not and never will use PayPal, but I've never had any problem with the CC acceptance. Could it be a problem with some local setting? Cookies, etc?

The problem is their system that identifies your geographical location via IP and then only presents the payment options for that region.
If they could display Paypal as an option every time I'd be happy!
Even worse for me. I'm in the US, trying to pay for an EU account. NCsoft Support have essentially told me - you can't!

Paying with a US card from the EU to a US account. Still can't get any love.

I recently had to jump through a bunch of hoops to change the CC associated with my account, after getting repeated "transaction error" messages. Tech Support blamed it on me! They said "something" in my system configuration was blocking their system's attempt at validating that this was a legit transaction. Apart from recommending that I be sure that all pop-up blockers were disabled, they did not provide much other help, until it finally got escalated to someone who could temporarily disable the validation checking.
Very lame!
I still can't even find the US store due to me being in Europe. I know I managed to get past that once but I forgot what I did...

There's no way I know of to get a US version of the storefront though, because the NCSoft web development team use IP based filtering to determine what you see (not the brightest idea in the world).
In general their over dependance on IP based filtering causes more harm than good. If you HAVE to use it at least give people links to other versions chaps. It ain't rocket science.
If you choose to look at the EU version of an item change the URL so the item_id parameter at the end is two less and it'll give you the US version.

The store choked on my credit card info 3 times in a row, so I used the PayPal option instead, and it worked the first time.
I'm not usually one to complain about issues with the software, but enabled your customers to give you money seems like one of the things you would want to make sure you get right. :/
I, for one, am grateful for the broken store, for it has saved me 10$ of expense that I really don't need that much after having to think about it for a while.

So, yay. Animal Packs up.
I can't get it. Same as EVERY other damn time a pack has come out.
Despite me telling it to, it still won't remember my card information.
And it always, without fail, encounters a 'problem' with processing payment. And won't give me the pack.
EDIT: Finally went through. Still doesn't stop the fact that this has happened every damn time on every release that I can remember.
