Ow. They bent us over so bad I think I threw out my back. So many purple bombs!

Just got home and... patching...
... and that was a nice small patch. -
-
I've been having better luck the last few days. Still some issues, but it's been good for the most part. Still frustrating as hell when it flat out refuses to load though.

A shiny tights option for masks so I can actually use full masks with the shiny tights. They added the option for gloves and boots, but never got around to masks.
A close second would be Random Power Day. One day a month, for a few hours, maybe just on test server, activating a power would instead activate a random power of the same tier. Ie. You hit Unstoppable and drop a Gun Turret instead, or hit Headsplitter and Fulcrum Shift instead. -
Bots/Traps MM, Rad/Sonic Def, and Ill/Rad Troller come to mind for easier AV/GM soloing.

Six hours.
Now that's why you should have more than one intern blowing the dust out of the server farm with those little cans of compressed air. That stuff is time consuming. -
Get the Recovery Serum temp power early. Build the Recovery Serum. Love the Recovery Serum. It's a life saver early on. My DB/DA is a brute, and only 24, but fantastically fun.

It was weird. I liked it.
Which is a good thing since the ticket was 15.75 for the fancy theater. Bastards. -
I'm having the same issue, and it's been especially bad since I upgraded my internet connection last monday. Whether that might have something to do with it I can't say since I have the technical aptitude of a gazelle. At least it isn't just me.

Quote:Doesn't make the graphic novel any less bland or plodding. I've read it a few times, and it's a decent work, but it's not 'all that'.The comic book is a metacommentary on both the political climate of the day *and* on comic books. By turning it into a movie, they lost that entire layer of the story. And by losing that layer, they made it just another adventure movie, because they didn't substitute an equivalent commentary on cinematic or pop culture. Which would've been pointless even if they had, since there are numerous movies which have done that over the past 70 years.

Quote:Watchmen (movie) was better than Watchmen (graphic novel).Just got back from seeing it and it was quite good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Right now, Snyder is battin' 3 and 1 for me (Dawn of the Dead, 300, and SP vs Watchmen).
Yeah, I said it.
Because it's true.
Hopefully I'll be seeing this Sunday afternoon. -
You might try putting some end reduction into Death Shroud and Dragon's Tail. I'd also add some slots to Tough/Weave, both to increase the Res/Def and to add more end red.

Quote:Tried that, but it made Firefox ludicrously slow. Meh, ads don't bug me that much.Noticed that Blip TV has been doing that a lot recently when looking at the comments.
For all those that get annoyed with Ads, I'd Recommend Adblock Plus for firefox, it kills both Youtube and Blip TV ads.
And I like most of the movies she's talking about. -
Great thing about magic is it can be learned.
Congratulations, you're now a level 5 wizard. -
Mitigation or Control? Axe, for knockdown in every attack, or Stone, for an aoe knockdown, ranged aoe stun/kd, and mag 4 hold. Those are fast becoming my favourite tanker secondaries for tanking.
PS. You'll want to start stockpiling salvage for crafting Recovery Serum. -
"Seventeen of them! And purple too!!"

Quote:As mentioned, the water thing was just one scientist guessing. They certainly seemed to use water for fuel, but that doesn't necessarily make it the reason for coming. Maybe it was just a perk to find jet fuel lying all over the planet they chose for building their new intergalactic turnpike.1) Reason for the invasion. Water? That's it? You're going to spend your soldiers lives for water? When there's lots and lots of water, just in frozen form, lots of places (Oort Cloud, Europa, etc). They said it was because we had a lot of water in liquid form. They don't even go for the fresh stuff, but rather the salty kind. And even then, you could siphon off a lot of it by sticking your forces into the middle of the ocean, rather than right off populated cities.
3) Timing. This is a big problem in a lot of movies. How they go quickly from night to day and day to night (X-men 3, for example). Seems that in the space of five minutes they go from using night vision scopes to having a high noon shootout.
5) Construction speed. The invaders sure had that C&C facility built pretty quick for the time alloted. Especially given its size and placement. Seems to be a bit hand-wavey.
Phew. Done. Feel free to pick that apart.
Timing: yeah, I noticed that too, but I tend to ignore that in movies.
Finally, I don't think they built the Command and Control unit there, I think they moved it there, possibly in pieces (much like the drones came together to make a bigger craft). Kind of in line with the way they used drones like tugboats to try to pull it to a new hiding spot.
Also, EXPLOSIONS! Wheeeee! -
I use the Snipping Tool that comes with windows. Lotta people do it a lotta different ways.

Quote:Basically a Mack truck with a face.Sorry if this is a stupid questions but learning acronyms was never my forte, but what does AV mean?
Also, thanks very much for the reply. Cleared up many questions I had.
The most survivable sets tend to have a mix of defense and resistance.
