    Not yet.

Nope, just bring what you've got.
  3. Either Elec/MA for a nice combination of recharge, resists, defence and face-kicking, or, Inv/TW because I have an interesting RP concept for just such a build.
  4. Looking for some input on this build. My goal was mainly to get +Recharge, for perma-Hasten/perma-DP. I think I achieved that (not sure, because I'm not good with the numbers). Looking for any kind of improvements to boost performance and/or cut cost. On that note, I likely won't be getting the Gladiator unique, I just kinda stuck it there.

  5. If this does get going, I'll likely bring a brute (a cannibal blood mage), possibly an MM (mad scientist). Thought about my corruptor, but everybody else is already bringing DP. I know Necris is around, but don't know if he's still planning on doing this, or if things have fallen apart.

Tuesday & Wednesday both work for me after 7pm EST.
  6. Still interested, though Tuesday/Wednesday are the only days I'd be available.
  7. Brute or Tanker for me. FA is definitely better for Brutes and Tankers than for Scrappers.

The character I'll be making for Titan weapons will likely be Fire armour as well, though that's mostly a concept thing (although the ridiculous damage output is nice too).
  9. Just hit the 'Clear' button and you're back to tights.
  10. Thankfully, both of those options have decent end recovery options. I genuinely like Regen, but I would take Elec to go with TW. There will be less redraw than there would be if you went with Regen. That may not bother you, but some people dislike the constant redraw associated with click-happy Regen.

Thanks for the build ideas. Gives me some advice. I have no idea how to make a build, so I have nothing really to add but my thanks.
Download Mids and hit buttons until things happen, it's not too tough. Even better, get Titan Sentinel (greatest 3rd party app ever!!) and upload your current build from in-game to Mids so you don't have to do a ton of work making the build. People around the forums are usually pretty helpful with this sort of thing, so you're likely better off asking someone who knows what they're doing (ie. not me) for more specific help.

So far I've made it to level 20, mostly soloing. Put the difficulty to -1/x2 after Soul Drain, which causes some survivability issues, but otherwise works well with the AoE's I've got at low levels.
  12. The door burst open, slamming into the wall, and Jenny trudged into the house carrying several shopping bags which were quickly set on the floor. Kicking the door closed behind her she pulled off her gloves and coat and tossed them onto the table in the front entrance. Scooping up the bags she headed for the kitchen.

“Hey guys! You home? I picked up some new movies and snacks. Figure we can have a night in. I hope you like margaritas!” By now she was in the kitchen and began putting things into the cupboards and putting the booze in the fridge.

She grabbed the movies last and walked into the family room to put them by the tv. Shaking her head she grabbed a few dirty dishes laying about the room, and headed back to the kitchen to dump them in the sink. Standing at the sink she couldn't help but notice how quiet the place was; like before.

“Chip? Adam? Anybody home?” Her voice died quickly in the empty house, quicker than her mood. Letting out a sigh, she walked to the fridge and grabbed the tequila before heading into the family room.

Transformers 3 went into the BluRay first. Mindless action was always her preference for days like this. Unscrewing the cap on the bottle she took a big swig and tossed the cap across the room. She wouldn't be needing it again. She barely noticed the movie playing on the big screen as she worked on the bottle.
  13. 2 tickets - $22.50 at the cheaper of the big theatres, which also tends to play the more artsy/crappy movies.

Add on drinks and whatever else and you're likely hitting $40 to see a movie once.

BluRay - $20-30 to buy or $5 to rent.

I can watch movies again and again, so it's not really a hard choice, and yet I do like to go to the theatre once in awhile. Just wish they'd give us some incentive to do so.

    Player Toxicity

I just try to avoid the Help channel and the City Life - CoH & CoV General Discussions forums, and everything is rainbows and puppies.
  15. Curious if this is WAI or a bug or what, but I've noticed that when I use Soul Drain I'm getting not only the base 50% boost and 10% boost per enemy, but also a defiance boost (6.3%) per enemy hit, which I haven't seen from other aoe powers. 3 enemies is putting me at 98.9% (50 + (3x10) + (3x6.3)) instead of 86.3 (50 + (3x10) + (1x6.3)) as I would assume with just a single defiance boost.

Am I misunderstanding how defiance works in this case, or did I just get kicked out of Dark Manipulation Fight Club?
  16. Still got about 16 levels before I can see if Soul Drain>Aim>Burnout>Soul Drain>Aim>Atomic Blast will work before the first Aim wears off. Or maybe Soul Drain>Aim>Atomic Blast>Blue Insp>Dark Consumption>Burnout>Soul Drain>Aim>Atomic Blast. Although a mob needing that much damage to take down is probably going to require a tanker/brute taking the aggro.

For Street Justice I don't know if I'd use Burnout. The hit to your endurance would be bad for anyone using toggles. Nearly 50 end (48.75) to use out of the box, which you can't slot for (it only takes recharge reduction), with a -25 max end hit for one minute is a lot to pay for some extra punching.
  17. Tally (?) and I finished off the Lost. So might as well. Not much to the end of the midnighter arc other than that and visiting the club. No point using up the group time on it.

With Shakeup out for next week, what do we want to do? Meet up and do stuff as usual? Take the night off?

My mistake, lvl 4 is only ranged and melee, have to wait all the way until lvl 12 for the aoe def. Not a big issue since there's not much aoe at that level. Still 30% is nice.
  19. SR/MA can be ~30% def to all 3 positions by level 4. Suck it Hollows!
  20. This sounds terrible.

On the other hand, Person of Interest is great. Caviezel is just plain outstanding.
  21. Basically I'm suggesting changing the order these two contacts are presented.

    - Willy Wheeler sucks. No one likes him. He's a small time stooge. The idea of him introducing you to a guy like Peter Themari is much more plausible, and makes more sense, than the other way around. You're supposed to be working your way up the ladder, not falling off it.

    - Peter Themari has the better arcs/missions. His missions actually make you feel like a villain. This becomes an issue since Themari's arcs cut off at 15, which nowadays is ridiculously easy to get to meaning I keep missing out on his arcs, or at least the second one.

Not exactly an earth shattering suggestion, but one that I for one would appreciate.

    Sooooo Dark?

DA is awesome on a brute, but heavy on the endurance, which bothers some people. People who think it's a bad set are a little something I like to call 'morons'.
  23. Anything with good mitigation will work well (Axe, Mace, BS, Street Justice, Stone, and SS immediately come to mind). PleaseRecycle pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding regen. You need to be good at actually playing the set.
