    Yes, you are wrong. There is no one to do your request. The remaining staff of Paragon Studios consists of forum mods. Zwillinger is in charge of telling the community what NCsoft is dictating to the players in as nice of manner as humanly possible. Your request means less than nothing to the management of NCsoft.

    There isn't a designer or programmer left. Even if there was someone able to do your request, there is no way that they would be able to get approval from NCsoft.

    I hate to be the one to tell you this, but the original CoV box code would equal a CoH box code. It has been that way since NCsoft took over the game.

    However, I'm not surprised to find out the problems entering the codes for other editions after the refund announcement.

    Sadly this is my view. I even tried it again this month. I guess I need a change from super-heroes.

    I will say that I liked the game better for the 2 weeks I tried it from the trial account (a friend bought a lifetime sub) with the 1 bonus week that it had as opposed to the F2P experience. Even though the character builds are more focused with the templates.

    What we seem to be missing is High-End Damage/Debuff (from all reports Corruptors, as we only get 1-2 for a group of 20).

    8-31-2005? That would be Issue 5. Global channels were available before that.

    Are you seriously telling me that if you went to, say, McDonalds and they offered you a McChicken meal with fries and softdrink, but they only gave you the burger that you wouldn't be demanding a refund of the undelivered food?

    They made an agreement: X amount of time for Y amount of dollars. Only now it is X is short and they want to keep Y. In the real world that would get you sued.

    Teaching is a service and I had to pay up front for each quarter. And the last movie that I went to that was interrupted (paid days in advance of the movie showing) was shown in another screen AND everyone was given a voucher for another movie. Oh, and the projector didn't burn out during the movie, but just before the movie was supposed to start, and the new screen started from the very beginning. Concerts are paid in advance (they won't let you in before you pay), and usually if there is something to force cancellation a refund is usually issued.

    Andy, at this point I'm not inclined to "waiting patiently". I'm inclined to report NCsoft to the Better Business Bureau and government regulators (both in Canada and the US).

    And some EULAs have been struck down as "not enforceable". This is a matter of breach of contract, and possibly fraud on NCsoft's part.

    You might want to tell whoever is listening that there are a lot of us with 6+ months of subscription on our account(s). What is happening with those accounts should have been a part of the closure announcement. I'm surprised that the legal department at NCsoft isn't having a hissy-fit over the way this has been botched. If they aren't, then they aren't doing their job(s).

    Please note: I don't want a credit for another NCsoft game. I want my money back. In my eyes, NCsoft is in breach of the contract between them and myself. At this point, they owe me a refund of my remaining time or it does rise to the level of knowingly taking my money without intent to provide service.

    Let me stop you right here. We don't have enough people with the "right" archetypes/powers to do as you suggest. This is the same advice we've been hearing since Issue 23 has launched with this badge. It remains as unhelpful as ever.

    I'd be surprised if we get 1 kin, and for corruptors? Maybe 1-2 per group of 24.
