I plan to spec my old EM/Regen into Sharks. Why? I'm either a noob who think he's awesome or someone with the common sense to take and enjoy a very powerful attack.

I was wondering how this build might do in RV. I know /EM is the favorite, but Elec Manipulation looks like it could do some good damage. Let me know what y'all think and if it's considered viable post i13, is there anything I should definitely change? I think my KB protection might be a little low? Thanks

Can someone explain 'spikes'? -
I've been leveling a Sonic/EM Blaster and just hit level 20. So far it's pretty powerful. Sirens Song is awesome for solo, as well. One of the things that's driving me crazy, though, is it is missing that quick Blapper feel. Would Ice Blast be a little better from a Blapper standpoint? I see it has some fast activating powers and think it might allow me to quickly get into melee after. What do you guys think? Or is there another Primary that would have better synergy? Thanks.

Starting my second PvP toon since the i13 changes. First was an Elec/Therm. Anyway, great info here. Had no idea about the KB issues. Also, Sonic/EM seems to be an incredibly tight build. Is Power Boost useless in zone PvP, these days?

Decided to respec back into Shockwave. Just didn't like Evis at all. Doesn't mesh well with the feel of the rest of the set. I'm doing fine on the LGTF, ITF and LRSF. I have noticed my end is hurting a little, though. Gonna see if there's anything I can do to fix it. One idea is a Ragnarok set in Shockwave.

I would say yes to Consume. As far as IOing goes, the majority say to go for recharge. In my opinion, Melee Defense is a primary focus for FA. I've been using one KB IO on my /FA for a very long time and unless you are getting hit with multiple KB, you should be fine. I just edited my SS/Fire some, so there are probably some issues with the below posted. It should give you a rough draft to play with, though. You'd definitely want to rearrange the order of powers.

Each mob's about 50% Drones.
Alright.. spent awhile on Mid's and I think I came up with a way to make him stronger. 40% E/N Defense + 26% Ranged and all I lost was 25% Regen and 10% Recov. I did trade out Shockwave for Evis, though. Gonna see if I like it. -
No idea, thb. I could be lacking on the ranged defense, maybe?
EDIT: yeah, I just tried running a couple RWZ mishes at +1/6 and there's no way I can do them without Inspirs. I need more Ranged or Energy defense, I think. -
Just finished fully IOing my 48 Claws/Invul and it rocks. Spin is amazing, btw.. if y'all haven't heard, lol.
Edit: Can't solo +1 Rikti outlined to 6. Gonna try 2x2. -
Posted it in another thread, but this is what I came up with. Didn't change too much.. Still deciding on a Proc in Strike or more Acc/Dam/Rech in Focus. I also removed the LoTG: Defense from Invinc and placed the Regen Tissue Unique in Health.

I agree. When I picked Shockwave up, I had no intentions of really using until I got Elec Fences. Boy was I wrong. That power is a life saver. Paired with Focus, it can keep an enemy on its ***.

I'm just unsure about dropping so much Infamy into him. I tried searching for an Invul Brute in game to see how they do, but I had 0 luck finding one.

And SC's right, if you do go for Aid Self, FS will have you covered.I would generally go for more resist or defense from pools before a self heal for WP, but if you decide to go for aid self anyway, normally an AoE knockdown like footstomp will give you a second to fire it off without interruption. On my old SS/Elec brute I slotted it with an interrupt IO and it worked about 99% of the time after footstomp.

Also, claws has an inherent endurance cost reduction so the normal brute slotting rules might not apply here, to a certain extent. If you can get enough recharge to get Follow Up double stacked, then you could skimp on accuracy unless you fight a lot of +4s while leveling. After SOs/Level 30 common IOs, I think I would slot spin 1acc, 3damage, 2 recharge, 1 end for maximum AoE carnage assuming you have QR and follow up double stacked. Fitness is also fun because health stacks with WPs other regen effects, and stamina with QR for almost limitless endurance.
