Bots/pain or Thugs/pain for IOing?
My bot/pain MM can wipe groups out easy and take out players in PVP well worth the time.
Also KB is no big when you kill them quickly ;P

What makes Pain so great for PvP? The healing?
that + taunt + BG Mode + passive res and patron res shield means that targets have to kill a target that has about 90% res(BG Mode isn't hit by DR) and a large self heal. (taunt keeps targets from killing your pets)
You have little offensive power besides what you pets dish out, so killing well-equipped players is difficult but the basic pvper will think that you are a squishy target.

Neither of those builds are very expensive to IO out. Thugs can use both the Pet damage and the rech intensive pet auras. The enforcer can use a few diff procs. Pain doesn't have a whole lot of IO options either.
I would say IO out both sets. It will probably cost less to IO both of them than it would a single brute.
Level 50s: to many to remember at this point
I got a bots/pain to 50, and I've got a thugs/pain at 37. However, I was wondering what you guys would consider to be a much better investment to fully IO out for general PVE and PVP. Thugs/pain seems to have some good damage, but much more annoying pet AI.
On the other hand, bots/pain seems to have better survivability, slightly less DPS, and that annoying knockback that can admittingly be curtailed with electrifying fences, even though the range on that is miniscule.
So what would you guys recommend would be a better investment for spending my hard earned inf on to fully slot out?
