  2. How well does it perform? is it a game-changing IO in the same sense as the Numina and Miracle procs? does it make a noticeable difference in your toon? is it worth it? any additional anecdotes?

Thanks in advance for your helpful replies.
  3. Castle leaving was indeed good news for some.

    AE mobs

Some maps allow you to set objectives such as "rescue hostages" which will increase the number of mobs (more hostages = more mobs)

The size of these extra mobs can be set within the objective settings (easy, medium, hard)
  5. I haven't had any problem getting Invader on my Praetoria native characters. Just head to the appropiate zones and spam in broadcast, maybe offer a million or two as a 'tip' and you'll get the badge in... a day or two.

  7. Most of my current line-up are toons with classic powersets: SS/Elec Brute, Fire/Rad Corr, Mind/Energy Dom and MA/Nin Stalker. Only the Demons/Therm MM and Spines/WP Stalker have 'recent' powersets

They don't look as identical to each other as the other examples
  9. Pick the "I do not want to fight bosses" option in the Fateweaver/Hero Corps rep.

Also, each map/faction has its own spawn rules, the "6 man team, no boss" rule only applied to farms, pretty much.
  10. I've never been a fan of softcapping S/L defense, and if you ask me? that may as well be one of the points that should be included in that 'misinformation thread' floating around in the Player Questions forum.

Why I'm not a big fan of softcapping S/L only? here are the reasons:

    Ghost Widow
    Scirocco
    Barracuda
    Positron
    Antimatter
    Synapse
    Neuron
    Numina
    Infernal
    Malaise
    Sister Psyche
    Mother Mayhem
    Swan
    Black Swan
    Vandal
    Requiem
    Arakhn
    Baphomet
    Lilithu
    Vanessa DeVore
    Countess Crey
    ...

And that's just off the top of my head, the list of reasons goes on.
  11. SS/Fire Brute

Or if you run solo most of the time, the Fire/SS Tank will do respectably
  12. Abyss has a mission with 4 Vindicator AVs
  13. ... have trouble walking down steps.

I noticed this while getting the MoApex badge. Working as intended? or an unintended homage to Robocop's ED209 due to wonky AI?

That said, the Merc/FF is kinda bad, even with the synergy between the sets. Thankfully he's more of a concept/rp character, so effectiveness is a secondary concern.
I'll take either/both of those toons in one of my blitz RSF/STF runs, and I'm a 'minmaxer' (or whatever term people use around here)

    Not quite

A necromancer is more like a puppeteer, while a demon summoner is more like a lion tamer

    Perma Rage?

Or you can also, you know, use Sands of Mu and Nemesiswand Blackstaff
  17. The minimum percentage required for permadom is 70% from global set bonuses, with Hasten 3 slotted with level 50 rech IOs (or 2 lvl 50 rech IOs and a spiritual boost)

You will also need to hit both Hasten and Domination as soon as they're up.
  18. Same thing happened to me just today, I usually run to Recluse and sneak up in his cutscene after the patrons die, but after the team killed the last patron I was confused as to why the cutscene hadn't started...

Stupid Kheldians and their penchant for spawning Cysts!

Benumb is a reverse Power Boost. It does both of the things you mentioned (lengthening our mezzes and shortening theirs) by debuffing the mez strength attribute on the enemy. It also debuffs their ability to heal, their ability to buff or debuff tohit and defense (and other assorted buffs/debuffs) on top of lowering their damage and regeneration

    A few examples:

If you were to benumb Ms Liberty, her Dull Pain power will be a much smaller +heal/+hp than normally

If you were to benumb Mynx, her Elude will become a relatively minor defense buff

If you were to benumb Silver Mantis, the tohit buff on her Build Up will be a lot smaller

If you were to benumb Ghost Widow, her hold will still be mag 100, but the duration will be lower

If you were to benumb a Spectral Daemon Lord, their tohit debuff won't be as crippling as it normally is

    etc...

  21. The forums in general are usually a good place to get a lot of misinformation
  22. Dual Blades / Dark Armor Stalkers
    Dual Pistols / Devices Blasters

That's about it, I wouldn't list any Control/Support powerset because those tend to be force multipliers, and even though there are underperforming sets (such as the previously mentioned Sonic Resonance and TA) they're still about a thousand times more useful in a team than the 2 combos I mentioned. Debuffing a spawns' resistance by 30% is contributing much more than twirling your weapons around and attacking an enemy that's already dead by the time the attack lands.
  23. A level 54 AV will still have a base 5% chance to hit a softcapped toon, but since AVs get an accuracy bonus for being an AV and for being level 54, they end up with a higher actual chance to hit the toon. It's even higher if the AV wields a weapon.

    ST Blaster

Fire, Psi and Sonic are the top 3 ST damage sets for Blasters, with /Elec eing the best secondary
