  2. Your primary focus should be end drain.

Need more recovery and I can't find any way to do it outside of a Miracle +Rec, and I don't have the cash for that currently.
Are you using the Shriek, Scream chain?
  4. I'll take a Fire/SS Tank over a Spine/Fire Scraper for farming any day of the weak. My Elec/Fire/Pyre Tanker can farm just fine, dealing truckloads of AoE damage and being nearly unkillable.

Tanks are more than viable for farming, and I'm also one of those people who'd rather farm with a Tanker than with a Scrapper

Barely make it possible to fire off attacks while EF and RI are active. Then you have to factor in using the AoE heal when you get hit (which has the end cost of an AoE power), Fighting/Leadership and Hover toggles that many people pick to increase survivability, Patron/Epic Shield and Hasten crashes.

Yeah, it's not very realistic nor practical.

I think it would be nice if there were junior superhero organizations in the COX universe (Teen Titans, anyone?) that were sometimes in over their heads, and needed big-league help from time to time. And they didn't always need saving, per se, but assistance cracking a tough case that turned out to be much larger than the evidence originally indicated. Because we are supposed to be big guns with the appropriate security clearance, we get called in to provide that assistance (or the occasional save).
You mean you want more Fusionettes?
  8. Yeah, including Fire Ball in a Fire/Rad ST chain against AVs/GMs is unrealistic (unless you go Mu Mastery and grab Power Sink to refill your end, which will in turn lower your DPS)

Blaze, Flares, Fire Blast, Flares is the basic chain
Blaze, Fire Blast, Flares is the optimal chain if you can get the recharge needed (we're talking about 60ish percent +rech from IO sets, after Hasten/AM)

Fire/Rad is sorta fotm'ish for support and (super)teaming, but not for soloing. At least not as much as DM/SD

I never said you can't somehow manage to finish off a weak AV, I just said that /dark alone can't shutdown an AVs regen by itself. -100% regen is a laughable value against an AV, so you're gonna need a blast primary that does over 90 DPS (after debuff interruptions, AV self healing capabilities, resistances and defensive T9s are factored in) in order to kill one.
  13. Fire/Rad Controller is the best AV soloer blueside IMHO. It's not as foolproof as Ill/Rad, but it's definitely much faster.

Everyone's pets counts towards vigilance. Teaming with a Plant Controller/Dominator will give you nearly perma -400% end discount because of Carrion Creepers

Twilight Grasp is -50% regen, and Howling Twilight has a 3min recharge.

A /dark corr cannot even come close to flatlining an AVs regen.

Yes, you get the 3 separate types just by picking the power [Swap Ammo]
  18. It doesn't offer offer psi defense, it offers positional defense (melee, ranged, AoE) and typed defense to all but psi and toxic.

Psychic Blast attacks (Mental Blast, Psychic Scream, etc) have a positional component, so you will get defense against those. Mind Control powers however don't have a positional component, so you'll be wide open to those unless you team with a VEAT or something that grants specific psi defense.

    What For?

I built my Dominator for Ranged/AoE defenses instead of permadom (could go for permadom on the current build, but I refuse to purchase those overpriced purple recipes for the remaining 7.5% rech needed) and even I admit that's pretty out of the box. But that's because I'm that crazy guy that is obsessed with soloing AVs on every AT

Radiation Infection is heavily resisted by AVs and GMs but Enervating Field isn't.

Lingering Radiation is also heavily resisted, but its effects are so large that even heavily resisted, it's still very useful on those fights.
