Marketeering is to cover the time when you're not playing the game.
  2. How could Inner Inspiration be abusable? I just can't fathom there is enough benefit for the effort required.

  4. For your Market Average, are you going to use the prices of the recipes or crafted versions? As I'm sure you're aware, there can be a vast difference in price between them.

Are you planning to just use one overall average or multiple to account for the variety of categories, eg ATOs, Hami-Os/SHOEs, Sets IOs, Common IOs, Common/Uncommon/Rare Salvages, Event Salvages, etc.

The "Power-10" is a good suggestion to cover the Common IOs category. As DOs and SOs, the Devs originally considered or expected them to be the most usable by all archetypes.

Back in the old days with the old Positron TF, this was expected. Well, at least for me once I was experienced enough to see why. With a full team, each spawn group had 2 bosses. And that 3rd mission had Agony Mages with their Earthquake along with multiple Spectrals with their -tohit debuffs. It was killer. I've seen this single mission take an hour to an hour and a half on it's own due to all the team wipes. Whoever doesn't quit during that mission was going to stay for the rest.

And of course, once the team member count drops low enough, you don't get the 2 bosses per spawn group and things are just easier overall.
  6. If you had told the team up front, during the recruiting phase, that you had 3 hours max and they were ok with it, then at 3 hours, I'd have no problems with you leaving. Personally, I'd give a warning at -1 hour to quitting time and -30 mins to quitting time to give the team reminders and nudges to speed things up. But if that fails and the time approaches, then I'd announce that the next mission would be my last. When that's done, I'll wish them good luck and leave.

As for your example with Synapse, it averages 2.5 hours to do even if you stay for taking down Babbage. For 3+ hours, the team must have been full of newbies.
  7. Ever since that Jetsons episode with Rosie (the robot maid) and Mac (the robot janitor), I mentally read utmost as most-ut.
  8. With the DA gate closed, Statesman offered up his crotch for you to grab whenever you need zoning.
  9. Obligatory real life Big (has some) Red Ball.

    Edit:
As I recall, the Big Red Ball concept as requested was to be a mini-zone event. A building sized object that could be knocked around.
  10. It is as often said: the first Billion is hard, the next ones are increasingly easier. Besides, if I have no need to spend the Inf, it accrues up on its own anyway. On a personal note, casual marketeering, gives me a reason to visit my (mostly) retired characters.
  11. In the same vein as:

I'd like to see citizens stop suddenly and then run away from you if you've just come out of a sewer mission.
  12. I finally upgraded from v11.2 to v12.1 a few weeks ago. The video lag has increased significantly. Mothership Raids are almost like the old days again. While it's not crippling enough to feel like backing it out, it is definitely a downgrade. I would not recommend v12.1 unless you're already worse off.

    Edit.
I'm using a Radeon HD 6800 series card (I forget the exact model number).

I can't check right now, but there's a slider option for it somewhere in options. Mine's set to about 80, I believe.
I believe it was around the time the Market was introduced that I discovered that the mouse scroll speed on all my characters were reset to 1. It took a couple of weeks of being really annoyed before I thought to check the Options to see if there was a setting.
  15. I do the herding regardless of archetype to boost my kill counts. Prep with a medium purple and a breakfree then toss AOEs around the top of the ship, then run like hell back to the bowl. Give the crowd a minute to take the aggro off me and go again.
  16. The first thing that came to mind when seeing the single big rocket back pack is that it's going to toast my tush once it flames on. It's too high up.

Also, is it attached (absolute) vertically or slightly angled to keep the exhaust clear of the tush?

Then I got distracted by important things like changes to riftstalker tanking mechanics, and when I came back...

I hadn't bought any, and they were running 1-2M.

    Huh?
I was working an IO that used Strands of Fate and about a month and a half ago, someone came around and ran it up. It's too rich for me, so I decided to wait it out. It was just as well because the recipes for the IO got ran up too. These 2 occurances didn't seem directly related, though. That is, the quantity of crafted IOs didn't suddenly spike. When I sold out my inventory, I moved on.
  18. I've asked into the League chat a couple of times about this very thing. Both times, I've been told that the V-merits were still based off what the team did, not the League as a whole. I can't offer any data either way.

I have also noticed that I've been raking in more V-merits now than pre-League Raids. I've rationalized it to be due to the generally larger Raid participation in this new era of Leagues. In addition, in the past, people seemed to huddle in the middle of the bowl and just fought the Rikti that teleport in. And during the lulls, taunt down the Maguses from the bowl's rim. Nowadays, I see a lot more dedicated herding of Rikti from the top of the ship into the bowl to really amp up the kill counts. I do this myself. (Tip: Tornado does a great job as a fire and forget herder!)

You actually take the time to right-click to delete Insps? You don't just pop 'em? Except the ones from the Awaken family, of course.
  20. Eh. Don't worry about it. Mistakes happen, so just move on. If the player was that easily moved to ignoring you, his ignore list is probably full already. Eventually, you'll rotate out of the list.
  21. The only thing I have to offer to to mention that Lanaru is a stormy. He was the reason I took a serious look at making a stormy way back in the day because of how he was screwing me over during the fight. He's a runner too, so use your immobs.

Yup. Nothing we can say will have any effect. He was probably just looking for justifying confirmation of his conviction that this game sucked instead of his own inadequacies.

And in regards to the comments about him possibly not being able to afford to buy SOs for his second build, ha! If he could afford to his admitted expensive Sets IO build, he could easily afford SOs.

So Knights, nice of you to visit us, but be careful and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
