    No, I wasn't being sarcastic.

The Eden Trial level limitation is an intended design feature. As such, it is WAI. Now, we can debate whether that's a good or a bad feature, but what it is NOT is a bug.
It's working as designed. The design has a flaw. The flaw wasn't intended. It resulted in disbanding the team when they started the trial. Disbanding a team without warning is not a feature. Now with supersidekicking it doesn't disband the team, which proves that the disbanding wasn't a game feature or they would keep it in the game. The bug currently causes the team to stay together without any assigned mission. This isn't a game feature.

It's a bug from issue 2 or so. I'd like to see it get some eyes on it.

  2. Yes, a fix would be nice. This bug is beyond ancient. Anyone that says WAI is being sarcastic.

I always thought the fly speed cap was somewhat poorly implemented from the beginning. Fly feels very slow and the obvious response to that would be to enhance fly speed and swift (which was changed at one point to take fly enhancements). When you drop the enhancement in the power, it says it will enhance flight speed and there's no indication outside of the combat attribute window to say otherwise.

I knew I was overenhancing the power, but now I feel kind of stupid. I guess I'll respec it to an end reducer or a single BotZ.

    Thanks for your research efforts.

Film of any age is essentially a much higher resolution than blu-ray and there is much demand for high-definition versions of the films. I'd much prefer the original version over special edition, but we'll see how much it costs.

    Blaster Nukes

The OP is perfectly entitled to like some sets more than others. I find Defender nukes to be way more fun than blasters because they have access to tools that effectively eliminate the end and recovery crashes. Besides kins and colds, all defs can get an end bar filling power out of the dark epic pool.

  6. I, too, would like to see more options ported across the gender lines. Personally, I think it's downright terrible that a Male or Huge character is denied the shoulder kitten. It should not be so.

On the other hand, the character creator is already massive and a bit unwieldy at times. It's not very well sorted out and could probably use a UI upgrade.

  8. Now I'm back in. I deleted the checksum file in the CoH folder, verified files and flushed my DNS cache as was suggested in another thread

Windowskey-R opens the command line window, enter this

    ipconfig /flushdns

    YMMV, good luck

  9. Was there a 2nd patch today? The servers went down early today and I patched up and played since then. I just went to log in now, the updater applied a patch that I didn't notice downloading (really small, perhaps). After updating the 2nd time today, I get the "No response from this server. Try a different server, or try playing this one later." message.

  10. I always found that the list of Set Bonuses gets a little bit unreadable when it gets big, which does make it hard to see if you're up to 5 or 8 LotGs or whatever.

    Alphabetization would be nice.

On the other hand, you can still turn up the difficulty to +4/x8. Personally, I find Malta boring at any difficulty.

  14. YYZ solo <-- an 11 year old Japanese girl with a keyboard and drum machine plays the rush classic. One of my friends has been on a Rush tear since seeing Beyond the Lighted Stage (which I also recommend) and sent the link. I thought I'd share.

  15. Most mission doors, AE entrances, etc., when they open, it is a square of pure black behind them. I've always found it a little immersion breaking or like it was unfinished artwork.

Is it possible to get a little something less jarring put there? A 3d rendered hallway would look great, but I'd settle for something brown/grey and out of focus that gives a sense of depth or at least doesn't look out of place. Maybe put a plant there, coat rack, chick in a bathrobe, something. The black squares could be improved upon.

  16. I don't go out of my way in the early levels, but if I'm loaded with salvage I'll stop at an invention table before going to the store and filter my recipe list (hide Recipes Missing Ingredients). Craft anything useful and you'll have an enhancement that doesn't expire on you, replace when convenient.

    There's an Urban Dictionary entry:

    1. Primus sucks 239 up, 10 down
buy primus sucks mugs, tshirts and magnets
It is the band Primus' slogan, meaning that you would say it if you really like primus. they got sick of the slogan after awhile but some people still say it because it's a great slogan, so if you see someone post a comment on a youtube video of primus and they say primus sucks give them an E-high five.
    WRONG!
    Fan: Primus sucks!
noob primus fan: dood primus doesnt suck **** u

    RIGHT!

No idea? I have some idea that they can reliably count on their most loyal fans to make automatic day 1 purchases out of a sense of duty to the game and the devs and that a significant portion of those very fans clearly stated their lack of interest in this product at this price point. It's also fair to speculate that forum reaction can be extrapolated to the general game population, up to a point.

There's always a tizzy on the forums. The loyal fans usually counter it with praise. I see as much buying out of spite as out of praise. Kind of funny in a way. The obstinacy of the devs is a little surprising. They've got a reputation for listening to the fans and keeping an open mind.

Pricing Project X less will not necessarily result in enough extra sales to make the project viable because only a small % of their customer base will be interested it as anything but a free perk of their sub.

    It isn't that complicated.
The reaction to the original announcement should have made it very clear that their projections were going to come up short. They chose to be stubborn instead of reconsidering. Nobody likes to admit they're wrong, I suppose.
