"No response from this server."...

My SG-mate has updated to I19, updated her drivers, and when she tries to login to Freedom, she gets 4 red blips and the message "No response from this server. Try a different server, or try this one later."

I just logged into Freedom, no problem.

Any advice?

I've often seen that issue after maintenance and patches. Also on the Test and Beta servers. It usually goes away after a few hours or so. I can't say exactly what the cause is, however a couple (rhetorical) questions..

• Can your SG Mate log onto any other servers (Example: Virtue for a high load comparison and Pinnacle or Protector for a low load comparison)?
• Has there been a ticket submitted through to support?

Did you fix it yet? Mine's doing it now too.

Having the same problem when I try to log in bypassing the patcher (due to a massive patcher crash from earlier today). Not sure if it's the same as your problem- it MAY be related to a file mismatch between your install and the Live server. Have you tried forcing a verify to be sure all your files are in fact up to date?

I was bypassing the patcher as well and was getting this error. It seems i19 doesn't give the "Wrong Client Version" warning any more. Once I patched I was able to login with no issues.

Well, she has verified all files, deleted the checksum file and let it rebuild, Nd updated all her drivers. Now she's going to try a full reinstall, and then petition if that fails.

Thankyou for this thread. I forgot about the second respec update and was bypassing the updater. Once I applied the patch I got in fine.

A completely fresh install failed to change anything. That's updatibg all drivers and reinstalling failed. Petition sent. Hope support can find a solution.

But she still got the same message. they also suggested waiting till after the next daily maintenence period. That's Friday, isn't it?

I've never heard of this sort of relocation solution before, though. Fingers crossed for Friday!

i am getting this to every server. wtf are the tools at nc/paragon doing?! i've already been having problems with lag for weeks... now this. and they do nothing but INSIST it's on my end. is this crap on my end too, you jackoffs?! i'm getting EXTREMELY fed up with this game and they're about to lose a very longtime and very loyal customer.

Okay i got the patch downloaded earlier and now after joining a Dr.Q TF my game freezes up and now I am stuck at this auto download try and log in and get the title for this thread no matter which server I choose! What is the deal?

The patcher downloaded another patch after the fix to the lord winter realm and that seems to have broken something. I was playing and switching characters just fine during the fix and I left for dinner and then it downloads this patch and breaks something.

I"m having this problem right now. I played yesterday and last night just fine and I went to login tonight and I'm getting this error. I tried every server and they all give me the same message.

Try rebooting your PC after the patch applies and go in again. I was having the same issues and that worked for me.

I copied my coh folder elsewhere and deleted my current to install a fresh copy.

Delete not only the checksum file, but the *.prv file.

Reboot and let reverify.

Was there a 2nd patch today? The servers went down early today and I patched up and played since then. I just went to log in now, the updater applied a patch that I didn't notice downloading (really small, perhaps). After updating the 2nd time today, I get the "No response from this server. Try a different server, or try playing this one later." message.

AND I tried verifying and the updater crashed NICE!!!
Feel like playing on a sat night? NOPE!

lol that's one way to fix your problems don't let people get on the server!!
