  1. It was touched upon in the i22 beta forums, but could we please have alternate models for Umbra Beast? Options such as Umbra Lions or Tigers or Bears (Oh My!) would allow great customization to all the cat-themed characters out there.

    Thanks.
  2. Did they move the Dark Astoria plaque for the Authority (history) badge? I did a rather extensive search of the area where it's supposed to be but to no avail.
  3. Does anyone recognize the zone background for the photo displaying the Coyote Travel Power? It doesn't match up with any of the existing zones so I was curious if it was just a dev only area they use for photo ops or an indicator of something coming down the road?

  4. I love this idea so much I'll throw a badge idea into the mix: Arena badges. At least 3 of the 5 required for the Arena Accolade require teams to accomplish (Ex: Swiss Draw) so soloing them is impossible. I have a request though...if possible could you wait until at least the second week in January. Travel has me away from my beloved desktop atm. My loss if you can't. Either way I'm sure I'm not the only one lacking these badges.
  5. On the video screen inside the Vanguard Base there are photos that have various Lat/Long coordinates. For example, the screenshot of the Mothership has coordinates 41 33 20 n 71 29 39 w. Cut and paste that in Google Maps and you get an idea of where at least one dev thinks Paragon City is located.
  6. I was bypassing the patcher as well and was getting this error. It seems i19 doesn't give the "Wrong Client Version" warning any more. Once I patched I was able to login with no issues.
  7. Is the panel still going on? The question running rampant is will fitness still be slottable?
  8. Not sure at what point this becomes thread necro, but the first thing I noticed when looking at your build is that you have a large emphasis on +recovery and +regen. With Transference and Transfusion recovery and regen are not going to be an issue.

Personal preference maybe, but I would consider dropping the fighting pool and picking up Maneuvers, Tactics, and Psionic Tornado. 6-slot Maneuvers with 5 Red Fortune and 1 LoTG +Recharge and couple that with the 2.5% global bonus you get for 6-slotting Tactics with the Gaussian set and you're actually a little higher on def than you are with your current slotting of Weave.

Consider 6-slotting the Blood Mandate set for your Imps. Sure it's not sexy to only have an uncommon set slotted, but it gives great +def bonuses for the 5th and 6th slot. Lets face it, if you're a good Fire/Kin then you're leading from the front because you're chewing through minions and LTs as fast or faster than everyone else and you're getting to the next group quicker as well. And if you're using the standard leadoff of Firecages you're going to draw LOTS of aggro.

After I've said all this let me backtrack a bit and say that your build could work...depending on your playstyle. However, you said you were building a farming controller. My personal experience is that farming is much more frenetic and end draining than stamina and set bonuses alone can keep up with.

A good Fire/Kin (both in build and in player ability) has to only worry about 2 things: Damage mitigation, and damage output. Focus on damage mitigation by building up your positional +def set bonuses (ranged, aoe, and melee). Whether you focus on ranged and aoe or on melee is dependant on where you want to play. My experience says that it's safer to play beyond melee range...yours may be different. And secondly, get yourself an AoE attack. Whether that be Psionic Tornado or respecing into the the Fire Ancillary pool for Fireball doesn't matter a whole lot.

In the end though focus on something that's fun for you...and not me or any of your friends. Oh...and welcome to the chaos =)
  9. It's been a while since someone posted here, but I was wondering if anyone had tested the stealth numbers for SuperSpeed. The generally accepted wisdom for a while was that stealth + superspeed = invisibility. Just curious as to how close to accurate that was. I don't have SS on any of my toons but was interested in acquiring it if it's an effective combo in PvP.

    Thanks
