It will at the very least give you the zone you're currently in, so this might be enough information for the OP.
i think they're looking for a way to have it show in chat for others. Unless you cut and paste the output into your chat, which really isn't much more convenient than typing it, /whereami doesn't tell others where you are.

i like the idea of adding a $faction variable.
Then something like: /bind shift+enter "beginchat [$name $level $archetype $faction] " would show as (for example) " [Blue Merkin 26 Scrapper Vigilante] " when using it in a global channel.

Shortly after that i was being pursued by the half the PPD. It turns out that squidding lobsters violates three public decency statutes in Paragon City. (The fun ones, obviously.) It wasn't until some time after that when i'd caught my breath that i remembered that the Devs hate purples and started wondering again.

Now back to the supremely important issue of fonts.

I thought some enemy groups weren't using all of their powers to the best of their ability. I know that Malta for example are managing to hold some of my characters that had enough mez protection to laugh at them a couple month ago.
Only a few enemies have changed to my knowledge, and all in the late game where the diversity of powers may have had something to do with them not using some properly before. That said, i've only noticed a couple enemies as being tougher and overall game play hasn't changed for me beyond the problem with leveling a bit too quickly in the lower levels. Then again i've always sought out missions against groups like CoT, Malta, Carnies and Arachnos whenever they're available, so i may not be the best example of an average player.

Well, i think there's both detractors and refuters, although after having refuted him so many times there are far more who are both. Honestly, and it's been stated by many of those who disagree with Ultimo_, they're no longer concerned at all about whether Ultimo_ will learn anything, they just want to refute his inaccuracies and outright fabrications so that others who don't know better don't end up being misled. Yes, it brings more attention to the threads, but it's not like Ultimo_ would stop posting if no one disagreed with him, and he's usually so wrong that he couldn't be more wrong if he was captured by Dr. Wrong and his Wrongbots and dipped in a vat of Toxic Wrong until he gained an inherent power called Aura of Wrong... Right?

    Women = Evil.

    Thank you very much.
Although it's actually the love of money that's described as evil in the source material, not money itself. So, i guess it's evil to love women then? If so i say "FIE!" upon your antiquated morality.

Granted, we don't really have an existing example of biology showing indestructible and immortal traits (although there are examples that get extremely close to their respective targets on either side, moreso the latter, however), so we're kind of left with wild speculation. I mean, how exactly do you describe the intricate biology of a living thing that survives the physical effects of a nuclear explosion (see 1976 on the history page)? There's resistance to radiation and heat and pressure...but the silliness of the sheer forces involved in that type of explosion paint the discussion in an interesting light.
The best example of the latter that comes to mind is lobsters.

    Quote:
Well, you have to think about it. If someone claimed to you that they're immortal, how would they prove it?

The whole notion of immortality as a character trait is that by itself, it has no value. While it can help designate the way a character can initially be seen, it doesn't go much beyond that--it's an alternative form of describing a person's age. Its value is summed up by its ability to act as a framing device for the character's other traits.

The truly interesting immortal characters, in my opinion, are the ones that have lived for significantly longer than the "normal" immortal (assuming they're written well--of course, that assumption should be expected). I'm not talking the random Viking vampire that shows up in fiction, I mean one that participated in the sack of Babylon-kind of old--or even older. It's generally fairly rare that characters that old are written well, though, so it's probably a good thing characters of that type rarely show up as is.
i think the approach Decorum has to immortality in The Milk of Paradise and the effects on mindset seems one of the more plausible solutions.

Still, full immortality is one those impossible to actually show concepts, much like infinity. In fact you'd have to follow an immortal around for an infinite amount of time to be certain that they are immortal. Immortality in comics is generally of the 'continue living until a big enough hammer crushes you' variety. Comic book immortals can generally be killed, but it takes serious effort to do it; just waiting around for them to drop dead on their own isn't enough.

    thanks!
It's randomly selected every time you use the power. And it it is possible on a character to get the same power over and over again.
Edit: i'm pretty sure the mutation roll has no streakbreaker, so if you're especially (un)lucky you could get the same mutation any number of times in a row.

Still, if the mutation power locked in when first used that could be sort of awesome. i made a Dominator last week and on her first use of the power she turned into a Rikti monkey. Being able to turn into a Rikti monkey for one minute whenever i want would be funny as hell despite not being able to use any attacks or powers while transformed.

Make sure you listen to what the raid leader says and follow their instructions. Every server has variations on how they do things, so you need to pay attention.

Usually, it's in the hive. The Safe Rock is an outcropping south of the center of the zone. When you get close you'll see all the people gathering up there.

You want to be careful getting there, though. There'll be a lot of DE Monsters about, and if you fly, you have to watch out for the Devouring Swarms, which will negate your flying and teleport ability for a long time.
    Good points.
Flight/Hover can be very useful in a Hami raid, especially for melee types. If you do go with a melee AT i suggest having lots of extra KB protection if it's not part of your Armor set's standard mez protection. My Spines/Electric used to get bounced around a lot until i got 14+ KB protection since Grounded doesn't work well when airborne and you have to be in the air to melee the yellow mitos.

Since the zone caps at 50 players it's always a better idea to assemble for a raid in The Hive.

Don't worry about messing up the raid. Unless you spam taunt while standing in the middle of a bunch of squishies it's hard to mess up too badly. A Hami raid can be done with less than 30 players, but it's much quicker and easier if everyone pitches in.

Pay attention to your team leader and don't hesitate to ask questions.

i know on Champion and Virtue The Hive tends to fill up early for scheduled raids, so showing up a little early is usually a good idea.

On Virtue though that has resulted in start time creep to the point that the first raid usually starts an hour early. Which isn't that terrible since normally there's at least two or three raids in a row anyway.

Sadly the bug only works with paper missions or similar missions where the enemy faction is determined by the RNG. A Valentine's day mission full of Praetorian Clockwork would be funny. Maybe instead of Snaptooth we could get a Praet Clock AV or GM. (Although i'm not sure what one would look like. Maybe a techier version of Babbage?)

Steel Canyon was thrown into a panic when the Clockwork there started running around shouting, "Inseminate! In-Sem-Ih-Nate!" while wielding improvised squirt guns. It was later determined that it was only the Clockwork King having a nightmare after a three day Doctor Who marathon.

Yeah, those were changed to being resistable over a year ago. And they still suck, but before that my DM/Electric Brute would easily hit the negative resistance cap when facing Longbow on large teams. That combined with Electric Armor's total lack of defense and Longbow also having massive AoE at the later levels it wasn't uncommon to go from about 90% health to faceplant in less than two seconds if someone aggroed a second spawn.
