    i19 free respec?

As far as getting another 3 to 4 power picks when Fitness becomes inherent and not having extra slots... both the Teleport and Stealth pools can be used effectively with only the base slot in most of the powers regardless of whether you use them as set mules.
  2. i would love to have have the option of shrinking my pets. If nothing else it would make creating a toy-themed bots MM even more amusing.

Make it "interruptible" -- but when you get interrupted it blows up with strength proportionate to how much you'd gotten done.

So if it would normally do 100 points of damage, and you get interrupted halfway through, it does 50.
So most users would generally be trying to interrupt it at about 7.5 to 7.9 seconds. i know i would.

Change it so that it gives a sizable +def during the interruptable period and allow it to take def sets.

Maybe change the name to Chronal Detonator and have the text say something about how it uses chronitons to create a temporal loop as it detonates a Trip Mine thus multiplying the blast. While the device is activating it induces temporal skipping, making you harder to hit as you phase in and out of sync with time.

There, you now have a LotG mule with a vaguely plausible reason for it being one.

Oh, that's not true at all. There are a number of posters with astronomical post counts who are quite voluble in their posts. Of course it helps to actually have some thoughts with some combination of speed, complexity and nuance that you are articulating when you post. Having fast typing skills or a large amount of time helps as well. So, yeah, there are some. Obviously without the GG initials.

    Moving on.

    Regarding the M & G...
As disappointed as i am that i had to miss the one M & G that was near me, i do appreciate all the information that was given out. i for one am looking forward to issue 19.

Honestly, I'm hoping this is something that can be fixed/resolved some day.

i agree that mob behavior has changed, but i actually like the change. Yes, it makes it a bit harder to wipe out a spawn with one AoE, but their behavior seems more natural when they do that and it makes it easier to thin the group a bit at lower levels, especially when a particularly annoying mob wanders far enough to not alert the rest and can be pulled for easy disposal.

Admittedly it can also make farming a bit less efficient. Somehow i don't think the Devs will find that a compelling argument for reverting the AI.

Champion has a great community and lots of server events. The best way to connect with other players on Champion is to join one of our global chat channels: either 'BMT of Champion' or 'Champions United', or both if you like. Also, check out the Champion forums to check out our community. Also, check out our Event Calendar for the times and dates of player run events.

    Hope to see you around!
BMT of Champion is a global chat channel, but it is not a server channel. i was corrected on this point by the owner when i posted it in another thread, so i'm just throwing that out to make sure it's clear.

i'm pretty sure Champions United is intended as a server-wide channel though. In any event BMT of Champion is an excellent channel to join if you're looking to get some serious badge acquiring done. Champions United is a bit more of a social channel and a good place to ask questions and socialize without the risk of diverting the channel from its intended purpose and incurring the possible penalties for doing so.

To the OP, you might also consider Electric Armor. It has Lightning Reflexes, which permanently increases your movement and attack speed without costing any endurance. It also has a damage aura in Lightning Field. Your character could be a walking joy buzzer. (If you roll a female clown, you could even name her Joy Buzzer.)
It's a clown. Being male, female or uncertain is not required for a clown to be named Joy. Or Wiggums. Or Shnookie. Or Nookie Monster. Hehe Haha. Zerbert the Unyielding. Tinkles the Unwieldy. Santos the Heavy. Squiggy. Captain Butz Pirate. (Okay that last alias was used by The Red Guy, but he's a rather clownish character.)

Also, i didn't realize i couldn't color my assault rifle and went and did it anyway. Okay, not the classic original model, but then none of the weapons sets allow you to color the original. However, i have many other assault rifles models to choose from, including a tintable version of the original, so i use those.

Come to think of it, none of the weapons sets allow you to tint the attack/hit effects, if that's what the OP meant (i hope, at a guess), just the weapon itself. Quick, to the Complaint Cave! We'll use the complaint computer to make a list of every single weapon set, locate the Devs, and then complain about the lack of alternate animations and (effects?) coloring for Every. Single. Freaking. Weapon. Set. In. The. Game.

That'll show them! Something or other, i'm not quite sure what.

Also, why do people ask rhetorical questions?

Incidentally, have you ever noticed that people only say things like "I don't mean to be rude, but..." when they know they're about to say something rude? It's even more common than prefacing a rant with "This is not a rant, but..."

Also, why do people ask rhetorical questions?

Then there's the people who when they don't like the answer to a question they just ask the question again. Why do they do that?

Agreed. Apparently we'll be getting access to some or all of the new Imperial Defense Forces costume bits in i19, and all i can say is "Do want!" Despite preordering the GR fancy edition i'll have no issues with GR being made free for all in a year or two if the Devs decide to do that like they did with CoV.

i guess i feel that increasing somebody else's fun will not significantly diminish mine.

Y'know, i think i've been one of the most directly critical of the OP's approach and attitude, despite sympathizing with his demands, and i'm pretty sure i haven't directly insulted him or called him names.

i tell ya, the newbie whippersnappers today have it too easy. Still, i remember when all the lakes in Paragon froze over and you could skate on them. The funniest for me was playing Hydra hockey in Perez Park with KB and repel powers while skating the ponds.

Hey, soloing an AV 4 times in 60 seconds (IIRC? i don't recall the exact time alleged anymore) is pretty impressive, even if it is just Romulus and his koosh balls. Of course when you factor in the delay and animation time of his rez it's closer to defeating him in 10 seconds each time. Pretty impressive for a Defender.

Night Fall is a mainstay power on all of my Dark Blast using Defenders, but then i rarely solo AVs and frequently fight large groups of regular enemies, which is where Night Fall is an awesome power.

If you can't find 3-4 powers that can be useful without slotting then you're not thinking very hard, even if they're purely utility powers or proc mules.

You mean a (semi) permanent affiliation choice. All the choices are as genuine as anything anywhere else. You make choices constantly, but you don't set your affiliation until you leave Praetoria. And even then you can change that later.

/This. There are quite a few pool powers that work well with the base slot.

Thanks for the tips and it gave me an idea on where to start.
Dark Melee and Super Reflexes is a rather powerful combo in addition to giving a nice speedster feel. The first two Dark Melee attacks go off pretty quickly and Shadow Maul can hit up to 5 closely grouped targets with your machine gun fists of fury. The fact that Dark Melee's attacks reduce the accuracy of enemies struck by them works well with Super Reflexes' emphasis on high defense. (Well, it lowers enemy tohit, but without going into the details of the combat system your attacks make enemies hit by them have a harder time hitting you for a short while, and it stacks with your +def.) Super Reflexes has a passive power that increases how fast you can run and/or fly while also reducing the time it take for powers to recharge.

Also, depending on how clownish you want to be, you can tint each of Dark Melee's attacks with a different bright color.

Oh, and Dark Melee is a good utility set in general with a fun fear power for a scary clown even if it doesn't do damage.

Still, at least half the fun is trying out alts and new combos. Read up in some of the different Archetype forums and guides for more info.

Another good source of game info is the Paragon Wiki. (It's not recommended to use the wikia site that appears in Google searches. It isn't updated by the players, and has occasionally had malware on it.)

Wait, so they also announced they're scaling it back to one issue a year as well? Why didn't anyone else who was there mention this?

(Since they said one new NPC group's costume pieces with every issue, then the only way to get one set a year is to do one issue a year. Not to mention that assumes that every NPC group has no more than a single set.)
