Replace Group Fly with something worthwhile

Give Elec Blast more purpose. It's not sure if it's damage, end drain or holds, so give it more focus on one of those aspects and change it from being a jack-of-all-trades to something that works (maybe even make it optional... like weight the powers at creation)

Allow characters to change size at Icon (I'd actually like a free "size changing" set that can be earned with Merit's or something... that would allow you to change the size of your toon between min and max height without affecting game play in any way. Purely a visual effect.)

I think the OP makes a point... it's one thing to pull if you've got some good range powers (blaster, defender etc) but that's a big ask for any toon at even or above level

I see a flaw

Person X leads SG A

Person Y leads SG B

X & Y do not know/like each other.

X goes on holiday for a month and is unable to log into the game - auto-demote kicks in and X is no longer the leader.

Person Z becomes Leader of SG A and merges with SG B

X comes back and hey presto, their SG is not the one they created/managed or worked so hard for for 3 years etc, it's something entirely different.

It's not an obvious issue but I'd hate if it happened to me without my consent.

The principal is fine but some changes would need to be made.

I like the concept. I'd love to make some movies but... it's not as easy as it looks, and some of the movies are truly excellent

I fail to see what this would actually provide in terms of information and/or advance the game or community.

If the mission is so important and you fail due to crash or RL impedance etc, you can always redo via Ouroboros

To the OP, I think your criticism isn't well founded. The occurrence of 2 zones being hit by a raid at the same time is minimal and in this instance I think you were just unfortunate.

My personal opinion is that the raids are one of the best features of the game and easily avoided if needed.

I think that tells us a great deal about how they view this particular franchise: It's their core product, well respected, loved by the fans and unique in MMOs (to date)

no not at all. To say this thread suffers unfortunate timing is something of an understatement IMO

However I think the majority of the posters in this thread are pro-sub and as such I consider that to be pretty good evidence of how solid the game is.

No maybe it's not going to take over the world in its current incarnation but I feel pretty sure that the challenges ahead aren't going to be life threatening and it should remain in good shape.

I have almost the whole selection of CoH comics... it was very sad to see their demise and had they been collected in to tpb format I'd probably have them too. I believe it was a serious misjudgement to drop the comic, but I can understand why they did. Matt Miller was doing the lion's share of writing/plotting in order to maintain continuity, but spread himself too thin. They should have given some red guildines to a proper writer and gotten a dedicated team in and let Top Cow just handle the publishing.

I don't have the Lord Recluse statue but if there were a decent range of signature character busts, a la Bowen for example, I'd be very interested in collecting the set. That they don't produce that kind of stuff is a major failure of their marketing team I'm convinced but frankly the current statuary isn't good enough quality to sit on my shelves with my other stuff. Yes maybe I am being elitest, I spend up to £200 for a quality statue, so I'm not going to pay £35 for something that looks [censored] to go next to it.

Clothing? Well I'm not such a fan. I have some marvel Tee-Shirts and I might oneday pick up an Arachnos tee but Id probably be more likely to go for something like an A1 bomber replica with the Arachnos symbol on the back (I know, anachronistic but hey, sue me )

I don't think I can add too much more to anything that's been said here, but I think it's fair to say that NC have dropped a mahoosive test tickle and their loss is going to be somebody else's gain in very short order.

The very best to you and when you wake up with an aching head on Saturday I hope you're smiling though the hungover pain because there's a lot of people out there respect you and like you and that's a tough thing to achieve but you've done it with out even twitching a muscle.
